I was staying at Hotel Zessa and ordered dinner from here one night, and had it sent to the room. I ordered the Chicken a la Brasa. It takes longer for this dish to be ready compared to the rest, about 30 mins. It comes with two pieces of chicken over a bed of rice. Was a little disappointed it didn't come with any vegetables. The flavor of this dish was phenomenal. The chicken is tender and cooked to perfection, the sauce that comes with it is citrusy and herby. It tasted fresh and flavorful. Steep in terms of price, $30, especially since it doesn't come with any sides besides rice, but the flavor was well worth it. Really enjoyed this meal!

Wow! Totally underestimated this spot! First, the manager Brian Castan is super cool and quietly a great bartender! He has to step in tonight and delivered is delicious margaritas, one muddled Jalapeño margarita and one normal. Great mixologist vibe! Didn't expect that. Second, the Exec Chef is a BOSSSSSSS! Michele Bailey is her name. Jamaican native that has traveled and lived across the world and you can taste it in her food. She loves making vegetarian dishes too and absolutely nailed several things:1. The cactus tacos were delish and hearty2. The guacamole and chips was super flavorful3. The mushroom quesadilla was so flavorful and heart and super yummy! 4. The broccolini was cooked perfectly! Super impressed with this spot. We made sure to let Brian Michele and team know they delivered. This place should be super crowded! It is not often that a hotel gets food spot on like a foodie type restaurant but this team figured it out. We suggested to Brian that he do whatever it takes to keep Michele happy. She's an artist too she shared! And a passionate creative hence the food being so delicious.Dog friendly hotel and they allow service dogs into the restaurant. Self parking is easy and free, even on a weekend night on a holiday weekend! Tons of seating, even good for a large group if planned ahead. We will be back! Forgot to take pics will do so next time!

I've stayed here multiple times & I highly recommend both staying at hotel & eating here. I tend to come here last minute and I did as they were closing, kids were so hungry and he didn't refuse our service, rather he got the food out quickly and everything was delicious. I enjoyed my club sandwich and we did not feel rushed. The chef even personally brought out or food and he did a great job!

Excellent service and atmosphere. If you're stuck at a hotel and the hotel restaurant is your only option, you could do a lot worse than this.We had two appetizers and fish tacos. The mushroom quesadillas were absolutley fabulous and the calamari and fish tacos good enough.

During an overnight stay at Hotel Zessa, got hungry and popped in for a late night bite just past 9pm - we had our fingers crossed because they were closing soon, but they seated us and took our order without issue!Restaurant is newly decorated (as the whole hotel was recently redone), really nice atmosphere. Service was quick and pleasant, and the food came out at a good pace.We ordered:- Chicken Taquitos ($15): 4/5, hot and crispy, served with guac and salsa- Prime New York Strip ($47): 3.5/5, nicely cooked, unfortunately a really massive fat cap, mashed potato and asparagus accompaniment, chimichurri on the side that was not a favorite (too acrid and vinegary)- Pan Seared Salmon ($32): 5/5, wonderfully flaky, great poblano cream sauce, fantastic street corn (would definitely order the "side" version of this next time for some extra)- Side of Broccolini ($7): 2/5, totally forgettable, just steamed and lacking much flavorAll in all, really enjoyed our meal after some initial apprehension at a "hotel restaurant" - would definitely come back!
