Chipotle Mexican Grill

I would say the placement of the utensils and sauce were a bit hidden. You would have to walk to the right side of the place. It was also messy. And ran out of napkins and sauce. So we got Pizza Hut first then grabbed the crunchy tacos + queso and chips after. We were a bit sad the tacos came out soggy. But it tasted good.They were quick while making our tacos and other peoples order. Thank you

I think everyone there is really hard-working and the impression that I got is that the management is just not running things the way they should be, because if you compare this one to some other locations in Orange County or other areas, there is a humongous difference.The utensils are empty, trash is piling up and overflowing, tables are dirty, and the ingredients just don't taste fresh like at other locations (for example, the one off of Crown Valley in Mission Viejo). Again, I've seen all the employees at this Barranca location doing their best and they are hard-working and nice people, but something needs to change in the management to run a tighter ship.

I just had the misfortune of experiencing the ultimate culinary letdown at Chipotle. The rice was harder than my aunt's personality - I'm talking granite-level hardness. And don't even get me started on the utensil-gate scandal: our takeout order came with a glaring absence of forks, knives, or even a pity spoon.The service? Abysmal. The staff seemed to be competing in the Olympics of apathy. I've seen more enthusiasm at a DMV office.To top it off, our company dropped a cool $150 on this disaster. That's like buying a ticket to a bad cook's culinary school. Needless to say, our business is taking its burrito bucks elsewhere.*note: it took 32min talking to Chipotle Customer Support Ai. Never got to talk to a human voice!!! So Taco Bell it is...since Irvine ha it's headquarters here....Thank you Scott

Horrible service never returning very rude horrible food got a quesadilla came with literally no cheese and the worker was extremely rude to my mom she kept side eyeing us, and when we asked her why she was doing that she started getting all upset all their staff is rude under age, sassy kids who don't know how to respect their customers food quality is absolute trash The picture I provided below is the quesadilla without me even taking a bite. It looked like half of it was already gone.This is the worst chipotle l've ever been to I recommend another location. This place is not it.

Seems like just a bunch of kids work here. As I was ordering the cooks were joking around pointing knifes at each other as they were cutting food. Guacamole was already turning brown and dark. Tables were all dirty so it was hard to find a place to sit. Went to get drinks, there was no ice in the machine but there was ice all over the place, there was trash all around the counters, little to no napkins or utensils. Sodas tasted terrible. Seems like since this area is on the side, it's an out of site out of mind mentality. Picture of the area below but looked worse in person. Food was ok over all but don't think I'll come back here again.

It's a good Chipotle, with some occasional hiccups with cleanliness and estimated food prepared times, but overall still very acceptable. The store can be relatively busy with walk ins and mobile orders, as I've seen the wall of to-go food filled with bags while there is still a line to order in person. I've been here a couple of times when my food was supposed to be ready but the estimate was a bit off, so it ended up taking additional time to prepare my mobile order. However, the prepared food never had an issue with portions and temperature, and I still think it hits the spot for a Chipotle craving. I've definitely seen trash get kind of packed here in the past, but again, it has not been enough to deter me from coming back.So all in all, the food lives up the Chipotle standard, service is acceptable, and it's a relatively convenient spot for folks that live/work in Irvine and also can stop by the same plaza to visit Target afterwards.

Food is ok , chipotle . But the service the speed is just , awful . 5 guys can't make the food fast enough for 4 clients . The whole place is empty because how "super fast " they are

This location went downhill since my last visit. I was greeted with an overflow of trash upon entering the front entrance, food crumbs and sauce bottles on the tables in different places. There was even trash on the floor where staff were preparing food. The female staff who was preparing online order was munching on chips. I do not care except my order was late and one side order was missing. I got extra green salsa instead of my side corn salad. If I did not already ordered through the app, I would walk out but it was too late. I ordered Carne Asasa bowl- terrible choice. Meat portion was small. I always ordered steak but thought I'd be adventurous tonight but failed. It was not tender but chewey. Pinto beans was SALTY! I could not eat the pinto beans. There was a lot of watery/liquid proabbly from pinto beans in my bowl so it did not taste good at all. I like my bowl on the dry side that's why I seprated the salsas on the sides. The overflow of trash and no utensils even after I politely asked did it for me. Very disappointed on this Friday night 11/3/2023. I do not plan to return to this location. It was my favorite one too

Was at the Barranca location at lunch time. They were short handed but keeping up thanks to one great young man who was making the food and cashing people out. Always being sure to wash hands / change gloves between food and register. He was friendly, polite, professional and moving really fast. Kept the lunch rush moving! Food as always was great.Attempted three times to use the Chipotle feedback site but it wouldn't work.
