Chip Cookies

In a world where it feels customer service is dying, I had such a refreshing experience with Sadie today! I called to order a birthday cookie and she was so knowledgeable, helpful and offered to make an accommodation to help make the process easiest for me. Additionally, the cookies are so delicious and I love their variety!

I really wanted to like the cookies, but honestly speaking it was the worst cookies I've ever had. Maybe you'll like them, but it wasn't for me. Even McDonalds had better chocolate chip cookies! - the cookie dough was really undercooked. I've tried them all and got the OG cookies, BTS cookie, Oreo cookie, and the one with coconut sprinkles cookie. The cookies are very thick and all I tasted were huge chunks of cookie dough and really overly sweet. I've spent $50 on the cookies -

UnderrateddddI have been here so many times and never wrote a review because the cookies aren't quite my style so I didn't think it was fair to review it.. however, they are SOO MUCH better than crumbl I do not understand the crumbl hype at all I loved the Cadbury egg cookieI loved the biscoff cookieThey are on the thicker side, which is why I said they were not my style Howeverrr1. The fact I've been multiple times shows that perhaps I do love them 2. My mind has been completelyyy changed by their latest seasonal offerings I am the biggest peppermint fan - this is my favorite season to eat They created the peppermint bark cookie of my dreams - I literally thought of this cookie in the morning, searched it, and found it at chip I love that they started putting holes into some of their cookies, filling them with condensed milk, and warming them up before serving Their cookies are rich, thick, and decadent Some of the pictures I've attached are oldThey continue to improve their packaging and polish and refine their menu I thought their packaging looked cute beforeBut it looks even more upscale now I can't wait to try the better than sex cookie next Love that they have many flavors - it's hard to find yummy dessert shops!

Pretty disappointing if I'm going to be honest. Cookies are my favorite dessert so I was so excited but they were quite underwhelming. The boneless chip was very dry and bread-y. I probably enjoyed the biscoff the most but even that one was pretty average in taste. In terms of value, I thought they were extremely overpriced. With the additional customization, each cookie came out to around $6.50. Additionally, they were not very visually appealing- shockingly small for the price and misshapen (see pictures).Additionally, they had a promotion that I saw from their instagram which was a buy 4 get a 5th cookie free on Wednesdays. However, when I asked about the promotion, I was told that the free cookie only applied to their limited selection of day old plain cookies. So basically the ones they would have thrown out anyways..

Excellent cookie establishment in Irvine, with great customer service. The place itself is clean and inviting. The cookies, which are offered in several different flavors, are awesome! Highly recommended!!

This was my first time coming to Chip and I absolutely loved it! I got the sugar chip, holiday themed, tres leches and custom cookies. You can get toppings like condensed milk, Nutella, frosting and whipped cream on top of your cookie, and you can also add fun toppings like rainbow sprinkles, white chocolate pearls, and chocolate chips. All the cookies were delicious, but my favorite was the sugar chip. I love sugary desserts and this exceeded all my expectations :) The service was fast, patient and friendly. The interior of the cookie shop was adorable and trendy. I can't wait to come back and try their other cookie options!

I've been here twice. The first time was really really good, the second time was not good at all. I will say, the OG cookie and the SW one, when made properly, are absolutely delicious. I'm very very picky when it comes to my chocolate chip cookies (it's an art, and most places don't get that!), and Chip really really gets it. The cookies are gooey, melt in your mouth, the perfect proportion of chocolate chip to cookie, and I know it's basic, but they're my favorite cookies they carry here. When done right. Which they had done my first time here but my second time, I received an undercooked OG. The middle was basically raw and straight up dough and even if it wasn't undercooked (or perhaps because it was undercooked?) it didn't taste nearly as good as my last time even though it was warm and smelled amazing when I grabbed it on my way out of the store.Of the fan favorites I tried my first time (the Better Than Sex/BTS, Tres Leches, and Oreo Dunk), I REALLY loved the BTS and Tres Leches. The Oreo was fine but I'd rather get either one of the other two or another OG/SW personally. Prices are a bit high (quite a bit) but for the occasional treat, I'm willing to pay it. However, I'm not willing to gamble the high price if there isn't consistency. As such, I don't know how I feel about coming back. When they're good, they're AMAZING but as of right now, it's 50/50 for me.Service however has always been great. The workers have always been very welcoming, they answer any questions you have, and they really do decorate the cookies well.

The service was super helpful. He explained all the flavors well. As you can see these are generously sized portions. The space was super clean and smelled delicious. The cookies were very, one dimensional unfortunately, too much salt on the SW chip, with the favorite being the sugar cookie. I think their cream cheese frosting gave it a little more depth.

I really like the visual of the shop it's super clean and neutral! They do offer discounts on old cookies that's left wrapped near the register if you were ever interested. I like how they have a wide variety of cookies such as seasonal cookies and most popular set of cookies. You can also add toppings too and personalize them. I love they give you the cookies warm as well. Will come back to try the other flavors

If you walk away from this review with anything, it is to try their ginger cookie. It is a seasonal item so I highly recommend trying the cookie before the year ends. The flavor and texture was so good, but I would say it's on the oilier side which I didn't love. It is definitely a treat yourself type of cookie considering it's around ~$5-6 a cookie. Either way, I will definitely be coming back to try more seasonal items.
