This review is for the China Town Express on Grand in Tustin.Like several business around my home location, this is my go to Chinese food establishment.And the review is about the food served here. First, the amount served here borders on the ridiculous. Food is tasty, they serve almost all Chinese fares including soups and specialty items like Cheese Wontons (missing: no glass noodles, shame), and again, the amount given in the boxes is plain on the "too much" side, Unless... if you order sides, then they use these tiny Chinese boxes perfect for Barbie™, so make sure you use the big boxes for your main dishes.A little lacking on the drink department (COVID), but they have Mexican glass Coke.The setting: is not the Louvre, so don't expect the latest on chic furnature (dining room closed for COVID, a few chairs out for waiting, a

I was craving takeout style Chinese food and this place is solid and I am happy about that. I have been to a few that are quite honestly gross. Glad to know that there is a Chinese food place nearby that is decent so I will be coming here whenever I am craving takeout Chinese. The ladies were also nice and prices are reasonable. $8.99 for a combo plate with 1 side and $10.89 for a combo plate with 2 sides.

I like the 2 item combo gives an option of chop suey (mix veggie) and noodle. Portion is good. A lot of variety to choose from. The bbq pork is huge. I will come back again.

Beats panda express by a mile! Cheaper with bigger portions, and greater selection of food. A 3 item combo will be enough for two people, or leave 1 person in a food coma.

The best Chinese food in town is a must-try! The portions are generous and the unique red salsa is delicious. The fish is cooked to perfection and the presentation is beautiful. Thank you for your business!

Their teriyaki and BBQ pork are amazing, and the portion is big, I have many leftovers for togo.

I've been coming to this china town express since I was a kid, It use to be fantastic. I would tell all of my friends and would come regularly but I stopped coming because I moved. I have recently moved back and I'm sad to report that things have changed. Terrible service. Terrible food, just all around terrible. They stop cooking food at 7:30pm even though they close at 8. If you show up anytime between 7:30 - 8:00 they stare at you like if your a pain in their backside. They Leave you the leftovers from all day. Rude and I don't think I've ever seen a smile. Don't know how this place is still open to be honest. Wish I could give less then one star. Sad day for my childhoodBut fear not. There is another china town express just a mile away on 17th street! They are so much better and run like a chinese fast food restaurant should be run. I'll try posting the link. Don't waste your time and money here.

Lots of negative reviews here from people who don't seem to understand what this place is. It's a cheap Chinese food place next to a Goodwill and what appears to be a partially burnt down building. It's the Chinese food equivalent of Alberto's. The service does not come with a smile. The food is pretty good, but then again, Chinese fast food is always good. Most importantly, the portions are huge and the price is right. Sometimes you are just in the mood for it.Come here if you feel like Panda Express but want to spend a dollar or two less per plate and not wait in a huge line.For what it is, 5 stars.

Big portions. Good food. Nice people. Cheap and fresh. Easy access to the spacious parking lot.

Shitty attitude from the ladies who serve the food. There drama is out in the open. Good great though. I'm just gonna take my business elsewhere.
