We were in the area after dinner and my husband wanted to pickup some che (Vietnamese dessert pudding and/or soup). Since we were in Westminster, there were multiple shops within our vicinity and I made the executive decision to go to Che Vi and I'm SO glad that we did!The staff was friendly and offered suggestions on which ones we should try. We went with #1, #5, and #6. We ordered to go and it was packed nicely in the carry bag. The coconut and pandan were fresh AF and the overall dessert was refreshing. My husband raved about it for days! The prices were reasonable but I'm sure there's a lot of supply and demand in this area so it may not be as comparable to other places. For those who are interested in dining in, there are plenty of tables inside to sit down and enjoy your dessert.

New dessert place in the same plaza as 85 bakery garden grove. They make good 'che'. Cup kinda small, asian size, pretty pricey, so have somebody else buy it for you!!Got the taro. Coconut milk perfectly sweet and pairs well with things inside. The pudding is smooth and yummy. Grass jelly not overly strong flavor. Dessert made well.

We tried #9, Coconut special. It was recommended by the worker. The small bowl was almost $9.The menu said it is made with coconut milk but we tasted it and it was 80% milk. The worker confirmed it was whole milk with small amount of coconut milk. The bowl was mostly milk. It was like drinking milk with a spoon and eating the flan. It was an interesting experience but it is pricey for what you get here They do offer indoor seating.Friendly service. Easy to find parking.

It's a little small portion size to price ratio but probably better you're not eating too much sugar. There wasn't any ice in our bowl which I actually prefer because too many chè places add ice and dilute the milk. However, I did see them add ice to the to-go drinks. Staff was nice and fast. Plenty of seating and parking on a Monday afternoon but lots of to-go orders. 9. Coconut Special: lots of toppings going on here like coconut meat slices, flan, water chestnuts, mochi chewy bits, chè noodles, etc. It wasn't too sweet which I preferred but my friend likes her chè very sweet so she found it bland. 10. Taro: much sweeter with the sweet potato mochi bits and taro flan. Didn't really taste strongly of taro, more like coconut as well. Very similar toppings as the coconut special. Overall, a nice place to have chè but it's definitely on the pricier side. Bold of them to open near Chè Hien Khanh nearby.

First time trying this and it's pretty good. I got the tofu special. It was a bit too sweet for my taste but with ice, it's perfect. The texture of the jelly, crystal boba, tofu pudding, flan were all good.

I got che dat biet for $8.50. It came out smaller than I expected for the price I pay. I have no negative comments on the quality of the che. It is not overbearingly sweet. The coconut milk is just right level of sweetness. The toppings aren't a lot but most of them are pandan flavors (2 types). It is however, not the quality that would worth $8.50Service was fast since I was one of three customers there. The staff is nice and attentive. However, I wouldn't come back with this price.

Located in the same plaza as 85 degrees on Westminster. The store is spacious, they have plenty of seats and tables for guest. I ordered the number 1 pandan jelly tofu and the number 3 hawaiian sweet potato tofu and added banh lot to it. The cups are pretty big size for Che. I also like that the coconut cream sugar milk mixture is not too sweet. It is good enough to drink and refreshing. My desserts didn't come with ice. Not sure if that is the norm here or because I got them Togo. Definitely would come back!

Such a refreshing dessert that isn't too sweet!! I ordered #4/the flan tofu, and everything in it was delicious. The flan and dau hu are soft and light. The jellos are nice and chewy. And I love that they use soy milk as the base. It helps balance out the sweetness of the toppings and brings out a more nutty flavor that I don't usually have in che. I would definitely come back!

I give this place the best compliment an asian can give a dessert place - "it was not too sweet" I ordered the Tofu Special which is basically a refreshing bowl of coconut milk with a large piece of soften tofu pudding and flan mixed with multiple confinements. it was the perfect amount of sweetness and refreshing this that was perfect for dessert after dinner. my favorite condiment was the purple, sweet potato balls.
