First time eating here. The help was very friendly. Nothing really bad to say about this place, the food was ok but not great. I had the king asada burrito and it was just fair. I would come back here if I were starving and had no other options and like I said, not bad but not great.

Top local spot for very authentic Mexican food! Excellent quality and very friendly staff with great customer service. Upon entering you'll see a small seating area, a wide selection of delicious Mexican beers, cokes and drinks. Our favorite menu item is the go to Carne Asada Super burrito; second fav is the carnitas! They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. You can call ahead or walk in and the turn around time for the food is usually 15 minutes, depending on the menu item ordered. During the week they close at 8 pm so don't wait too long to order your food! Highly recommend you should try if you're craving a decent portion of homemade style Mexican food!

We're from the SF Bay Area and had a water polo tournament at Ocean View HS. We wanted something quick but not fast food and found this place on Yelp. It's small but don't let that fool you. WHAT A FIND!!! The service is superb. The gentleman who helped us was very courteous and friendly. The food was bomb!!We ordered:Ribeye Taco - Sooo delicious!! Cooked per your preference and had just the right amount of onions and avocado sauce. Steak Quesadilla - My teenage son (who has eaten many quesadillas in his life) said it was the best quesadilla he has ever had! He never comments on food. I know he likes it when it's gone in minutes. This time, he walked up to the person who took our order just to let him know that this was the best quesadilla he's ever had in his life. Carne Asada Burrito - really good!If you're in this area, stop by and give them a try! If I'm ever back in this area, I certainly will.

Veg review: the rice doesn't contain chicken broth and the enchilada sauce has no chicken broth either. But the beans have lardI ordered two enchiladas with riceThey were nice enough to let me try both the green and red sauce. I thought the sauce was good and the green one has a kick to it The cook on the enchiladas was really disappointing. The cheese inside wasn't melted and still at room temperature I saw them put the enchiladas in a pan then in the salamander The food was lukewarm and not cooked inside so it was very unappetizing Came with chips which were ok I didn't really like the flavor of the riceThey have a selection of salsas but you're allowed 2 tubs to take home. The pico de gallo was pretty good

I was excited to try something new. Having never been here and seeing all the positive reviews, I think I set my expectations too high. I got the Cancun Fries with Carne Asada for $14. They come topped with a white cheese, runny sour cream, a small scoop of oniony tasting guacamole, and a chipotle sauce. The fries themselves were well done, crispy with good flavor, almost like curly fries and the saving grace of the meal. However, the carne asada was chewy, nervy, and tough, resulting in me spitting some pieces out. The chipotle sauce was funky, almost like a chipotle ranch, just not my thing. The onions in the guacamole overpowered everything it touched. Overall I was not a fan. That's this critic's review, until next time, I'll be eating.

The food here is garbage now, just go somewhere else and get food worth eating. Carne asada is not even carne asada, it's like cheap unflavored steak.Two tacos with fat and some unknown steak... never again.

I ordered 2 shrimp tacos, because I was in the mood for it, but not expecting much because, you know..shrimp. Well, they use really good fresh and plump shrimp at this place and the tacos were fantastic. The sauce had a nice little kick to it, and the salsa was fresh and well done. I will definitely come back another time

little gem nestled in the goldenwest area! i have been here twice and was pretty impressed both times with the fast and friendly service. the carne asada burrito was yummy and a good portion, and the al pastor plate came with perfectly charred, juicy meat and beans and rice. each order also comes with chips and you cannot go wrong with any of the salsas, the mild tomato one is our favorite to pair with the chips. excited to keep coming back to continue trying other things on the menu! it has quickly become our new go-to mexican spot in HB :)
