Mom passed away on 12/6 and after leaving the hospital we were all in a state of shock. Not much was open so we decided to go to California Pizza Kitchen and God has his hand it that too just as he does with everything. A wonderful server named Trish recognizer our grief and immediately we felt her love. We explained mom's suffering was over and she was so caring and compassionate and shared about her mom passing. What a beautiful heart and blessings. We all had margaritas with chips and guacamole and then each ordered an entree while sharing stories about mom.The time spent reminiscing about mom was invaluable and the love we felt from Trish and her team was Godsent. The food was good, drinks great and service superb.Highly recommended

Wait time was quoted 25 min, but took 40 to get sat. Left 8 tables dirty after people left for almost 20 min. Trash all over the floor of the restaurant and staff just walking right by it.But absolute worst was the woman's bathroom. Feces on the walls. Could have been the homeless woman they were allowing to walk back and forth through the restaurant with no concerns from staff either.Server Grace was absolutely awesome. But whoever is managing the restaurant needs a new job.

Absolutely the best place to go if you enjoy wasting your time and being ignored! I've been here twice, and only out of sheer desperation for a quick meal. Both times, I placed a simple pick-up order--BBQ chicken pizza with NO ONIONS and NO CILANTRO. Sounds easy, right? Wrong. Each time, they read the order back to me (TWICE, mind you), and each time they still managed to screw it up.This last visit was the icing on the cake. I opened the box right there at the counter to check (because fool me once, shame on you...), and surprise, surprise--onions and cilantro everywhere. When I pointed it out, the girl working the counter looked at me like I'd asked her to solve a physics equation and said, "Okay," as if that fixed the problem. No apology, no solution--just a blank stare. When I gave her the "are you serious?" look, she finally mumbled something about taking my number for the manager (which, let's be real, we all know she didn't). Plus, no manager called me. She didn't care at all. However, I cared since I was the one who paid. Her attitude was appalling, and she clearly has no place in customer service, let alone food service. This place is a total joke. They can't get a simple order right, and they certainly don't care about fixing their mistakes. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere--anywhere--else. I know I will.

I don't know why I even try this place. I keep hoping the food will get better. It doesn't, just more expensive. $66 for 2 mediocre pizzas plus bad service. To top it off, the bathroom was gross. The grime around the base of the toilets was disgusting. Can't they even pay for a cleaning service? Yuck

My wife and I came here for dinner recently. This location of this chain is one of the better ones I've been to. The interior is nice with both booths and tables kept clean and the whole place is visually appealing. They also have a patio and plenty of parking. I ordered the BBQ chicken pizza (which is what they're known for) and a very good lemonade. Some fresh pieces of bread with olive oil were placed on the table while we awaited our food. Our waiter was pleasant and efficient. The thin crust pizza had chicken pieces, smoked gouda, a few thin slices of red onions, and fresh cilantro, all of which was covered in bbq sauce. It was decent although could have been less stingy with the chicken. I was able to eat it all which isn't difficult to do if you're hungry; it looks big but the thin crust and thin layer of toppings make it less filling. Everything about the pizza, from crust to toppings, were simply "okay".

This CPK has been here for quite some time so it must be doing something right. For me, this location is a bit challenging with longer wait times than other locations. We usually order online and pick it up to go if we are eating in this area. If we want to dine in we go to the one on La Paz across from Home Depot. Much quieter and service is a bit better. This location has great food and they are good at iced tea refills.

What a beautiful display CPK had set up to honor veterans on Veterans Day today. As well, offering a free meal to veterans for their service. Well done! Our lunch today was delicious as usual. Service was FAST and friendly with our server meeting our every need. Heartwarming to see so many proud veterans dining that have served our nation and your team acknowledging their service.Bravo CPK

First let me say that the server, Kim was very pleasant and she was very attentive. The ambiance was very nice, the patio was very nice (with perhaps the exception of the family behind me that let their kids run around and scream at each other). Now I'll explain why I rated this CPK with 3 stars; I tried to order a pizza with artichoke hearts which I think is a fairly common ingredient. In any case they didn't have them so I ordered a Hawaiian pizza with a thin crust and they had a special on take and bake pizzas so I got another one exactly the same. The advertised price was $8 for the take home and $19 for the one in house. When I got the bill the charges were $21 and $9.50. When I asked Kim about it I was told that it was due to the thin crust (which wasn't advertised as an up charge on the menu. Her response really didn't seem very sincere but I could have read it wrong since I was already a little unhappy with my visit in general. If I did misread her response I apologize. I've been coming to CPK at various locations for many years and was a big fan for most of the time. I don't think I'll be coming back as I typically come for the pizza and they no longer carry the pizza ingredients that made it a real "california" style pizza (goat cheese, red/yellow peppers, artichoke hearts, etc.). I will have to find somewhere else which is sad as I've been enjoying the pizza here for a long time. I'm sure there are other tasty menu items, but for what I come for, no longer available. Update: thanks for your response Deborah, I appreciate it. I am home and getting ready to bake the take home pizza I got last night. As I open the box I see that the pizza is hand tossed and not the thin crust that I ordered and paid extra for. Including a picture for you to share with the team as well. I'm sure you understand how frustrating it is to unexpectedly get charged for something and then later find out that the charge shouldn't have been made in the first place. Thanks again for responding

All the staff is wonderful and helpful and very attentive. There's always a consistency with the food. I've yet had something bad there. This is my youngest son's favorite
