California Pizza Kitchen

Plenty of parking space. We came during lunch, so it wasn't packed around this time. We ordered The Works pizza, Garlic Cream Fettucine, and Spinach Artichoke Dip to share. The pizza wasn't big, but it was a shareable size if you order another item. The pizza was delicious and the Garlic Cream Fettucine was also good and creamy. The Artichoke Dip was great with the crispy chips and cheesy dip. Some things are really good and some items are so so at CPK.The pastas at CPK are really good. The Alfredo and tequila fettuccine were very oily, but were full or flavor and delicious. The avocado egg rolls are delicious! The pizza needs to be revamped. It could be better. It's small and a bit dry. The cookies were dry on the outside, but soft on the inside. Odd. HAPPY PIZZAING!

I've always love the food at CPK. I had the Jambalaya and it's as good as Lucille's. I would say the difference is that at Lucille's is a little bit more spicy. But CPK's Jambalaya is definitely spicy enough. For dessert i had the Butter Cake with ice cream...it's as good as cake and ice cream as you'll ever find.One thing I've noticed about CPK, no matter what location (i've been to 3 different locations in Irvine), is that their waitresses and waiters are the best. They're personable and they just do their job very good. Our waiter yesterday was Kameron, just an excellent waiter.

Our lunch today was delicious! We have been here a couple of times and as usual the food and service was impeccable. The only issue I would mention is the servings are a little small. The restaurant is so clean and the atmosphere is so comfortable n relaxing. The lounge area is perfect to sit and eat while enjoying a drink or enjoy a drink and watch some sports, Either way you'll be happy.

We went on a weekday and were pleasantly surprised by the lunch duo offer available Monday-Fridays 11am-4pm for $12.99.You can choose one main item (7" pizza, lunch size pasta, half sandwich) and one soup or salad, or you can do soup+salad. The lunch size portion was generous enough for a full meal. The lunch duo options include many signature items, so it's a great deal compared to the dinner pricing. I had the Thai Chicken Pizza with the original BBQ Chicken Salad; both were delicious and satisfying.The restaurant retained its cozy and urban vibe, and service was a bit slow due to several large parties that day. However, it's cool that you can use CPK gift cards as form of payment. Good deal with tasty food at lunch time.

I think we found a new favorite location. The staff was amazing and we had the best server (Alex). The food was hot and fresh and simply delicious. The restaurant was clean with plenty of seating. In spite of being busy, we only had to wait 10 minutes for our table. Way better than the Spectrum location.

This CPK has been here for as long as I can remember! It was an easy choice for lunch with my family.Upon walking in, the hostess quickly took us to a booth. We took a look at the menu and a server approached. What was a bit weird was the server asked us if we wanted the booth or wanted a table on the other side of the restaurant. I said the booth was fine and she responded with "ok, because my section is on the other side". Were we seated in a section that wasn't seeing attended yet? She took our orders and brought us water. We ended up ordering a Margherita pizza for my husband and I to share, our daughter got a kids pizza topped with olives, and we also ordered the avocado club eggrolls to all share.The pizza was delicious! I love that the crust is not greasy and has signs of being cooked in a proper pizza oven. The little bits of char give it away, and I love the flavor!The avocado eggrolls are also really good. These are crispy and packed full of chicken, bacon, avocado, cheese, etc and served with ranch and a mildly spiced southwestern ranch dip. My only gripe is the $15 price tag for 6 pieces. Ouch. My daughter enjoyed her pizza, but when we got the receipt....about $1.50 to add olives on a cheese pizza?! That is an absolute premium for one topping. We won't do that again; just order as-is.We were generally happy with the food and the visit. I don't understand why our server reminded us twice that her section was "over there", and at the end a different person brought us our drink refills and the check. Maybe a little bit disorganized, but everyone we encountered was friendly and we enjoyed the food.

I visited this spot 2x this week & my server was Kameron/Kam. He was awesome! He was attentive while not being pushy. Both nights, we opted to do half-pizza-combos. - Pepperoni (half) -- Wild Mushroom- California Club (half) -- Carne Asada All of them were good. The Pepperoni/Wild Mushroom is my usual order with my boyfriend. The California Club/Carne Asada was split with my friend & both were great. Totally creative versions of pizza which were flavorful.

The pizza was very good. The crust was baked just right. The service was also pretty good. It was a Saturday but it was very busy and we did wait quite a while. Overall, I would try this establishment again.

My favorite CPK location! Service is always nice and the manager is always looking around to help. Was waiting for my takeout order and was asked if I was taken care of by multiple people which is so thoughtful. I ordered two kids pizzas and they were cooked perfectly, no burnt crusts and it was still warm when picked up. If I dine in I usually opt for the butter cake as a dessert, and you must get it with the vanilla ice cream! It's never particularly busy during the week and there's plenty of parking. I must say though I miss the honey focaccia appetizer every time I visit. Hopefully it comes back one day.
