We ordered take out from this place after getting our nails done. I didn't actually go into the store. But I must say, their tacos here are huge!! I got 1 shrimp taco and 1 fish taco. They must've been about 6 inch tacos all the way around. And just topped with so much topping too. They definitely don't skimp on the protein ingredients either!! Both tacos tasted really good. Their sauce also tasted really good. They use 2 tortillas per taco. Which is definitely needed to hold everything together. After eating just 2 tacos I was stuffed!! They got our telephone orders correct. Food was amazing.

I stopped by on a Monday night thinking I could do a quick pick up and be on my way home. No, ma'am was I ever wrong. At 8:30 on a Monday night, there were throngs of college aged kids milling around waiting for their order. I ordered the Cali burrito ($13.25) with adobada. It comes stuffed with guacamole, cheese, sour cream + fries. They also give you something called the Cali sauce which is a creamy aioli. The Cali burrito definitely lives up to its hype. First of all, the burrito is enormous. Right off the bat, you could taste the tender and flavorful meat. The fries are also well seasoned, so the addition of the guacamole and sour cream helped mitigate all the flavors from becoming too overpowering. The chorizo and potato breakfast burrito ($11.99) was also fire. I've been looking for a replacement for my favorite breakfast burrito and this one might be it. I liked that the eggs, chorizo, and potatoes were all folded together. I like a breakfast medley and this was exactly what I was looking for. I think the very best part to the burrito was the flour tortilla. It was seared and really kept the burrito in tact. Overall, I think I invested a good 40 minutes into ordering and waiting for 3 burritos. Don't do that. Call your order in and pack plenty of the green salsa. Cali Tacos is a solid place to satiate your non-traditional burrito craving.

Yes, it's true. The forearm-sized burritos are gigantic as heck. What I didn't think was true was that it's difficult to finish in one sitting, but nope. That was true, too. 1/3 of the burrito is sitting in my fridge as of this moment. The parking lot is a bit small so it's possible to find it difficult to park in, but the seating of the restaurant itself is plentiful when you consider outdoor seating. The Cali Burrito honestly speaks for itself. It is flavorful and filling. While the burrito is good on its own, one has to try it with the Cali sauce. I mean who eats the "Cali" burrito without the "Cali" sauce? Maybe non-Californians...All in all, if I want my stomach to explode from the goodness that is the 50 feet long burrito, I am coming back here again!

Sooooo good! We came in here for the first time today and got a cali burrito combo & shrimp taco. Combo comes with rice, beans, & a large drink. Cali burrito was MASSIVE -- my bf & i were so full after sharing 1. I definitely wouldn't have been able to finish one on my own. You have to ask for the cali sauce in advance!!! apparently. or they only limit to 2 containers if you ask after you order! Staff was super sweet when they realized it was my first time and was willing to give me a handful but lmk next time to ask while ordering for the cali sauce! Shrimp taco was rly good too! It has the same toppings as a normal fish taco and comes with lots of shrimp. Super yum & had cali sauce all over it. They have a salsa bar with your normal spicy salsas & pickled carrots etc. Along with fountain drink station. Super small inside with only 3 tables & long line. There's plenty of seating outside. We got our food after ~15 minutes of waiting and were super satisfied! Would definitely come again :)

Value 15/10Quality 9.5/10 Customer Service 20/10 The first thing I noticed was, despite the businesses, the staff were taking their time taking orders, instead of rushing. I ordered Angel Burrito no meat, extra beans. While I waited for my order, I went to the salsa bar to get salsa and pickled carrots and jalapenos, and onions. Decided to take a bite of the pickle, and I was blown away--the pickle by itself was worth coming here. The carrots had a hint of spice from the jalapenos and the jalapenos had hint of sweet from the carrots. Once I got the order, the portion is big enough for two. The burrito actually has fries in it. The taste was great. I couldn't finish the entire thing, so I took it to go. Also, usually I don't like eatting shrimp, but I'll make an exception for this burrito. The vibe is hole-in-the-wall eatry. Will I be coming back? Count me in!

So good!!Okay, I know I've given this Mexican food place a raving review already. I just wanted to update with a of couple things. I ordered the shrimp quesadilla off DoorDash. The shrimp quesadilla description says cheese and shrimp. However, it came with cheese, shrimp, sour cream, and pico de gallo. I couldn't eat it. I hate sour cream. I wish the description on DoorDash was correct. I also ordered a veggie burrito. I usually get the Cali burrito and do no meat. But decided to order the veggie burrito with fries added. The veggie wasn't nearly as good as the Cali Burrito. There wasn't enough cheese. It was mostly beans and rice. The guacamole was slapped on one side of the burrito and that side got soggy. It just wasn't good. Maybe ordering delivery is not the way?

Ohmigosh these are monstrous burritos. They are behemoths. Ginormous but packed with great flavor. Why doesn't this place have 5 stars. It's good food, chill place with convenient seating outside. We ordered the Cali burrito with carne asada and a chicken burrito. Both were delicious, filling, and easy to share. We even took one to Disneyland and the other to the beach. The self serve area comes with your typical sauces and pickled vegetables, but they definitely have the best carrots I've had at these kind of places; the carrots are not overly sour and the perfect amount of soft. Paired wonderfully with the burritos. Would come back.

I had been wanting to try this spot for a few years. I would always text our group chat about it & finally tried it tonight. I knew the pressure was on because this was my suggestion, & if it turned out badly, I'd feel bad lol. Well... Unfortunately what I anticipated for so long turned out to be pretty mid. I ordered 1 asada & 1 carnitas taco. They were huge, I'll give them that, but it was definitely quantity over quality. Both meats were pretty flavorless. Guac & pico helped but I just didn't love it. I think there was so much meat that it made the tortillas soggy fairly fast. However the tortillas were very good! One friend got a shrimp taco & she said she liked it, that it was decent. Another friend ordered the shrimp burrito, thinking Cali sauce would be inside but it was not. Also important to note: the Cali sauce tasted like a spicy sour cream? It was definitely made w/dairy of some kind. Beware if you are lactose intolerant. My friend learned the hard way.All in all, I'm glad I tried it since I had wanted for so long. We thought it had a similar vibe to Sabrosada; huge portions, same style, etc. But Sabrosada really hits the mark, here not so much. The fries do look good though, so I may try those if I ever find myself back there.

Came across this place on our way to Vegas and it did not disappoint! The shrimp burrito was the size of my head for only $10.99! Lots of shrimp but wasn't dispersed evenly so I at most of the shrimp first and the rest was more rice, but I was extremely pleased.Husband had the Cali burrito, also the size of my head, which he enjoyed.Daughter had five rolled tacos with guacamole and cheese. These were amazing! None of these items were consumed in one sitting. The leftovers were a second meal. There is only person taking orders and getting the food ready for you. We took the food to go, but there is an outdoor sitting area that's covered. Be ready to wait, good food takes time. And it's worth it!
