Cafe Mimosa

One of the best breakfast spots in San Clemente! The owner is a great guy! I recommend the steak and eggs with an elderberry mimosa!

Came here early morning. Lots of seating. Friendly service and delicious food! Had the crème brûlée French toast. Soo yummy, very light and not too sweet.Husband had the pork belly scramble egg. It had soo much flavor, even the potatoes had delicious flavor!Will defined back to try other plates in the future when in town.

Cafe Mimosa is a cozy spot down at the end of Del Mar Ave in San Clemente. They offer a small indoor section as well as a covered patio. They have a delicious brunch and great lunch items as well. The staff are all very friendly! I went the other day during the week around 1pm and there was only 1 other customer there. However, I know on weekends it gets really busy. There's also tons of parking on the street, as well as across the street at the library. There's no reason to not go and give em a try!

If you're looking for somewhere cozy for brunch with good mimosas and an amazing benedict, Cafe Mimosa is the place for you! You can't go wrong with any of the mimosa options but my favorite was the peach because it was pretty refreshing. If you're looking for a sweet and fruity option, I highly suggest the mango. I would go with the elderberry for a lighter option. As for food, I had the pork belly Benedict and it was by far one of the best benedicts I've ever had. I'm always weary of ordering pork belly because I never know if it'll be crisp enough BUT the pork belly here was everything I was hoping for it to be. Also, the hollandaise was unique compared to others and I'm so glad that I gave this a try.

Came at 8 am for breakfast and could sit anywhere, though by 8:45 it was almost full. I don't recommend bringing large parties. It's better for 2-4 people. Piping hot coffee. Delicious orange-pomegranate mimosa. The poached eggs in my "Frisée" a la Mimosa were perfect! Beautiful runny yolks. Potatoes, frisée, bacon we're a good balance too. Loved the light dressing on the frisée. Husband's omelette was good. The green onions were chunky and could have been sliced finer. The tomatoes were cooked down a little with the ham, yum; the cheese was present but not overpowering. Miranda was a lovely server and provided some great suggestions. The only downside is the price -- closer to the cost of a nice dinner.

Rates very high in service and food if you're in the San Clemente area. They have a twist on the eggs Benedict that has that special California flavor.

Cute little brunch spot in the heart of San Clemente. Came in on a Sunday and was about a 30 minutes wait. We heard we had to try out the teas and they didn't disappoint - might be some of my favorite teas I've ever had.I got the mushroom quiche with a side of bacon. The quiche was really cheesy/mushy I didn't really taste most of the egg at all in it. The bacon was 5 star.Would come back!

I don't even know where to begin. I loved everything from the decor, the service and food. The first thing I noticed was the cheerful yellow and adorable mugs. From the moment we walked through the adorable entrance and into the restaurant we were greeted by the friendly restaurant owner and seated promptly. Once sitting down we ordered the Steak Frites and the crème brûlée French toast. Both were brought out quickly and absolutely delicious. I also had the raspberry ice tea and the presentation was amazing! Overall the entire experience was amazing!! Would definitely recommend :)

I came here because it says you allow dogs. The lady told me dogs were not allowed, even on the patio. Please fix that.
