"Living here in Westminster, it's surprisingly hard to find good bun bo hue. I've tried so many that are just watered down and lackluster. This was the first time I've had a good bowl of bun bo hue in the states. The picture I took was literally half-way through my meal because I wasn't expecting it to be as good as it was. I knew I had to leave a review later. The broth is super flavorful and clean. They give ample amounts of noodle and meat with a good variety of different meats as well including pork knuckle, pig's blood, fish ball, and beef. I will say that it's not very spicy but they leave sate for you to add to your liking. The lychee lemon does taste a bit like canned lychee juice but regardless is quite good! I would just ask for less sugar. It's a family run business and everybody was very courteous and the restaurant is clean! Stop by if you have a chance. I know I'll be coming back."
"It's so great to see a new pho/Vietnamese restaurant coming back to the MainPlace Mall since the other one just closed during the pandemic. The owner Rose and her fellow employees are very kind and attentive every time when I come by for a quick lunch break. They never disappoint me with the food and service. They basically have ALMOST everything: pho, rice dishes, banh mi sandwiches, boba, etc. Very great quality and delicious food! I am a very happy Vietnamese customer supporting a wonderful Vietnamese-owned business! :)"

"This place is great. Best interpretation of the banh mi. Wish they still had one in LA."
"I'm done w/ my reviews fr my trip to Toronto. Its time to share some local delights. 6 Van 8 is a quán nhâu, specializing in small plates that go well w/ cold beer.We indulged in chicken wings, fried chicken feet, calamari, clams & octopus, prawns and my personal fave, goat curry. All of the seafood was fresh, and the remainder of the items were very good, except the chicken feet. They were overcooked & dry. The goat curry was really authentic according to someone at the table who grew up in Vietnam. It was served w/ rice crackers: I enjoyed this dish the most. The goat was tender, and the curry had a nice tang to it.Regarding the ambiance, there are tables of 4 & 6. However, the A/C wasn't on at first on a hot summer night. It was turned on later and became more comfortable. Our waitress Ha was super nice & friendly, and took care of all of our special requests. If you are looking for a quán nhâu w/ authentic dishes, and great service, 6 Van 8 will not disappoint."
"Best pho in Tustin. Service is so nice too. Best option outside of Westminster. The broth is soooo good and they give such a good amount of meat. Don't sleep on this little gem guys."
"I am visiting the area with a large group of friends and as the resident Vietnamese, I took it upon myself to recommend restaurants for the group to eat.We all had pho the day before so I wanted to introduce them to a dish they may or may not have tried before. I found Banh Cuon Tay Ho and saw that they also had a vegetarian/vegan "Chay" menu for myself so our group of 12 went here to eat.It is a small restaurant located right next to the Phuoc Loc Tho Mall. We waited 5 minutes and they were able to set up 3 tables of 4 to accommodate our large group. We ordered everything: Banh Cuon - both meat & veggie, Banh Xeo, Vermicelli Bowls, Bun Bo Hue, and even Banh Beo. Food came out pretty quickly and the portions were massive! Plenty of food to share and go around. Lots of fresh veggies and herbs for all the dishes were provided. For my vegan dishes, they gave me vegan Nouc Cham (fish sauce). We left full and happy! Wish we had something like this back in San Francisco."
"Located in Huntington Beach, this place has a little bit of everything and the entire menu had up to 50% price cuts which we all need to catch a break in prices when it comes to surviving! But hurry this offer is only until September and time has been going fast for sure! This isn't on the Main Street where everything is hectic and crazy, it's a nice quiet area with plenty of metered parking in the front. I ordered the Sesame chicken, egg rolls, popcorn chicken and Peach green tea. Everything was yummy and very affordable for sure. Service was fast and portions were just right. My friends all ordered the pho and they finished it, even ordered to-go."
"Wife and I were in search of something comforting and soothing for the soul. Sundays just have that type of vibe and Huong Giang delivered exactly what we were looking for.Our families have ordered their banh uot thit nuong (charbroiled pork) and bun bo hue before - but only at their to-go location. This was the first time dining at the restaurant and it's just as delicious! The rice paper on the outside of the banh uot is SO good. It's definitely one of my favorites. I don't think I'd be exaggerating if I said I could finish a whole tray to myself. The rice paper is springy, chewy, and the perfect thickness. The inside is filled with thit nuong, lettuce, bean sprouts, and rau ram (Vietnamese coriander). The order comes with 4 rolls.Their BBH is excellent. My wife and I have been to many different places throughout GG and a lot of the times it's either mediocre at best or mid. Besides our go-to spot for BBH, theirs is pretty good here! Very balanced, not too oily, and generous with the vermicelli.I was personally craving rice, so I ordered their dac biet rice plate which came with 2 different cha lua and thit nuong. It also comes with a small bowl of soup on the side which was perfect. It reminded me of home cooking which was exactly what I wanted. While their menu is fairly limited, they focus on what they're known for and what they're good at. The to-go trays are excellent for family gatherings and parties and the food is just as good at their restaurant. I absolutely look forward to coming back again soon!"
"Honestly the best and most affordable chicken and rice place. I got it Togo and it was still hot and crispy when I got home. The red rice is a must, it is much more flavorful than regular rice. The chicken is so juicy and tender."
"Our usual broken rice restaurant was closed on Wednesday so we decided to try this place. They are located in the plaza off Bolsa/Bushard. It gets crowded in that area so parking can be difficult at times. We called in our order for pickup and were told it would be ready in 15 minutes but it was not ready upon arrival. The interior is quite small with a few booths and tables. The staff was friendly during the short interaction that we had. I do like that they accept credit cards which is very convenient. We ordered the Com Tam Bi Cha, Tau Hu Ky, Thit Nuong (Broken rice with char-grilled pork, Bean curd skin with shrimp, shredded pork skin, and steamed egg). The grilled pork was flavorful and tender. The fish sauce was on point. It complimented this dish very well. We also order another broken rice dish with grilled pork chop (Com Tam Bi Cha, Suon Nuong). Surprisingly, the pork chop was also tender and delicious. I think we stumbled upon another good spot for authentic Vietnamese broken rice (Com Tam). There are so many choices in the area but very few are good. We would come back here again!"
"This place has been here for decades and I feel bad that I never gave it a try until now! It shares a kitchen with the now-closed Banh Canh (vietnamese udon) place across the street and so they have 2 menus! There is so much to choose from! I got the wonton BBQ pork soup and my cousin got the recommended banh canh #15; both were solid. The BBQ pork in the soup was delish. Banh canh was actually very good too; you could get the broth more thickened or a thinner broth. My cousin ate the entire thing and said she's definitely coming back. The lady serving tables was so sweet too. She had recommended the banh beo but we had no stomach space. I presume the owner was the elderly gentleman who came by our table to ask how everything tasted. He was also very sweet and happy we enjoyed the food. Definitely coming back with a bigger party next time so we could try different things!"
"Food service was wonderful. Our waiter explained the whole menu patiently and made qreat suggestions. It was clean. The food wow was very flavorful and high quality. We went there because of the Dan Dan noodle promotion and 5 star reviews on Yelp but when we got there the waiter said the place was under new ownership and they didn't have any dan dan noodle pho. We tried something different and the food was delicious."

The raising amount of MSG in the common BBH places made me try to find a new place.I happen to buy a ton of jerky from their jerky store. The BBH here is great. They give you a ton of meat. The portion is very filling. The broth is fine. I usually ask for clear broth (less oily and fatty) and order beef only (no blood, no cartilage.)People complaining about price but this is 24, everything is expensive. For what you get I think it is worth it.

The place is delicious. I only speak for the Com plate and the popcorn chicken. I wanted to try something new that wasn't part of the usual experience at Main Place. I know being from Westminster/Garden Grove, I wasn't expecting what I am used to, but this place plays up to par. Please be advised, it took a while for my order to come out. They made my food fresh made to order. I definitely would come back to this spot again.

AMAZING!!!! Everything we've had here is spectacular. The curry soup, the rice bowls, the rice porridge, and the banh mi are absolutely delicious. This place has a cute hole in the wall type of vibe and the service is always great and quick. Prices and portions are great. I want this place to get more notoriety because it's so good but I also want to keep it a secret so it stays lowkey and special LOL. We are huge fans!!

Good service, pretty large restaurant! Nothing fancy inside but good for satisfying a viet food craving without having to go all the way to Little Saigon. My friend got pho and I did a vermicelli noodle. I did feel like maybe it was a little light on meat but in the end, it was enough though! Easy parking and they take credit card too.

Good Food and good service - the place is relatively quiet but pretty popular for takeout as well. It's well seasoned and comes with some veggies. The proteins that come with it - Cha and shrimp cake are nice and fresh.

Must stop by and visit now! They're currently offering up to 50% off almost their entire menu! Limited time only!Parking: This is Huntington Beach .. parking can be difficult. We got lucky with a spot right in front of the restaurant. It was metered parking with the first 2 hours being free. I noticed there was also other street metered parking across the way.Ambiance/Environment: Very warm and welcoming. It's very spacious with plenty of indoor seating and limited outdoor seating. Great for large groups.Service: Shout out to our server Abril! She was amazing! She was very knowledgeable about the menu, refilled our waters when needed, and checked on us while eating.Food & Drinks:1) Burning Titan - This was recommended to us since this was their "must try" entrees. I had the choice of substituting the meat and noodles, but I decided to leave everything as is. This only came in one size, and I'd consider it a large bowl. They were very generous with the brisket beef and amount of ramen. The soup was definitely spicy and flavorful.2) Kung Pao Chicken - My partner wanted a rice dish. I tried his dish, and this is definitely better than Panda Express! It wasn't too spicy though, nor was it salty. There wasn't as many peanuts as we thought. There was a good amount of chicken to rice ratio.3) Crispy Wonton - I like their twist on the wontons because not only did it have cream cheese, but it also had avocado! The wonton was crispppyyy with a beautiful brown color. Though, I wish it had more filling of cream cheese and avocado. Don't forget to dip it in the sweet sauce!4) Thai Tea with boba - This wasn't too sweet. The boba was decently chewy. The tea had a weird aftertaste, so I think they could work on this item.5) Vietnamese Ice Coffee - I'm a crackhead for caffeine, so of course I ordered a Viet coffee in the evening. You know it's concentrated when they don't fill the cup up all the way. This is what I call a Viet coffee!Pricing: I'd say it's definitely worth its price. We visited while they were still offering their deals. Can't deny a bowl of pho starting at $9.99. Especially in this inflation, that's a steal.

Amazing dishes and one of the best catering places! The menu is gigantic and they offer both dining as well as to-go catering. They have a majority of all the popular Vietnamese dishes and everything is super tasty. * Bún Bò Huế Đặc Biệt: 8/10 - good broth, comes with all the typical meat and veggies* Bánh Nậm Lá: 9/10 - tasty, but wish they gave more than 10* Mì Quảng: 9/10 - comes with tons of meat and veggiesThe restaurant has plenty of tables inside and the workers are very attentive. It's located in a large plaza with different shops so there's plenty of parking. We'll definitely be back to try all the other foods!

"Although this place is known for it's to go foods and catering trays, they do have a few tables to customers to eat at. I've been twice and both experiences were consistently great. First time, I ordered the banh bot loc and second time I ordered some vermicelli. So good! The lady at the front speaks limited English but we were able to communicate well enough. I also got some frozen banh loc la. 100 pieces for 75$ and she will give you some nuoc mam and chilis to go with it if you ask. Parking lot is small so if there are any events near by, it will be hard to get a spot. They take credit card but prefer cash. The lady didn't charge me tax on my frozen goods with cash."
"I know, I know: This is a mall food court restaurant and I am writing a review about it!But...They make Vietnamese spring rolls when you order! And you get to choose exactly what goes inside. And you get a choice of sauces. I went traditional and got the fish sauce, but they were giving out their orange sauce to try out and I loved it!They also have a soft serve machine which, at the time, was not yet serving sweet corn flavored soft serve, but will soon. There was no line to order and no line to pay.Delicious.Plenty of available tables in Brea Mall's food court. And their tables have outlets so you can charge your phones too!!"
"The food here was amazing and quite flavorful. I highly recommend the banh canh dac biet with the thick broth specifically. They will also give you scissors to cut the prawns. The broth, meat, noodles, and prawns were all so good and the portions were pretty heavy! It was $19.50 for this bowl. The inside was clean and well kept. The service was also quick and everyone was so sweet and kind. Although, the parking lot is fairly small it wasn't too busy on a weekend afternoon. Definitely a gem worth checking out for the colder spring/winter months!"
"This is a pretty average Vietnamese place. Typical casual vibe. Service was great. We were seated and had our orders taken quite quickly. Food came out fast and hot. They gave us free dessert after as well. The food itself wasn't special. The pho soup was fine, but the toppings were a little sparse. The chicken and veggie stir fry I got was okay, but the sauce wasn't mixed that well.Overall, a decent spot to get a quick bite, but not one I'd crave."
"This is a little gem in Little Saigon. If you don't live close to home then this is the closest to your mom's kitchen. The restaurant is clean and the friendly Hispanic server knows every Vietnamese dish on the menu.My favorite is their famous shrimp and pork belly in the Claypot. This is serious Vietnamese soul food or your mama's cooking. Everything is tasty. Reminds me of a lot of the dishes my mom would cook growing up. Restaurant close on Wednesdays and parking is a little hectic but worth every bite."
"My boyfriend has been on the lookout for the best place to get Bo Ne so we came across this place! Lots of menu selections and interestingly includes some Western foods including macaroni or Thai food like Pad Thai. I got the Bo Luc Lac with a Nuoc Mia Rau Ma. I always get these at Vietnamese restaurants and sometimes they don't come out in one portion where it's not the typical shareable dish. It came with rice, veggies, and a small bowl of soup! Such a perfect combination and definitely had me full at the end of the meal. The meat was tender and not chewy at all. As for the drink, it was really refreshing and delicious if you're both a sugarcane and pennywort fan. I tried a bit of my boyfriend's Bo Ne and felt like he could find better. It wasn't too bad if you wanted a quick bite for lunch. As for his Soda Chanh, it had more lemon-y taste to it than a good balance with the soda to it. The workers are attentive and act quick! We'll prob come back and give it a try if we were looking to try their other dishes."
"It is located in a plaza with plenty of parking, making it convenient to visit. The interior is modern and minimal, though seating is limited.+ Black sesame coffee: It's on the smaller side, but the espresso really packs a punch. Love the black sesame cream on top, it's rich and adds a smooth texture. Highly recommend if you're a fan of black sesame! + Espresso tonic: The espresso to tonic ratio was spot on, very impressed! There's a hint of orange, but you can pay an extra $0.50 to add yuzu to it. + Marble latte: This wasn't particularly memorable, it tasted like a standard latte. I'd like to try it cold next time to see if the house-made sweet cream stands out more.+ White chocolate orange canele: The crust was slightly chewy with a soft interior, just wish we got it warmed up.Staff was very friendly and helpful when answering any questions I had."
"It's Sunday and drizzling around noon the line was out to the side walk but the wait was not long at all, maybe 10 minutes. It's packed! We managed to get an indoor table way at the back. I don't usually eat pho. I don't like the noodles but I wanted warm broth today. They will give you a number and tell you where to sit. I ordered the Oxtail pho ( did not eat the noodles). The broth was delicious and the oxtail was flavorful and tender. Minus the kids next to me coughing up a lung and not covering their mouths the experience was okay. Next time I'll sit outside if the day is nice. I will return."
"I have eaten lunch here now a handful of times. Before everywhere else went vegan, Âu Ląc lead the way and made it yummy. We've tried their "Chicken" curry and "Shrimp" appetizer. The drinks. a double chocolate and a green drink. Last time I tried their chocolate dessert which was so good. My personal favorite is their Spring Rolls. Leaning towards trying their seaweed salad. Everything is so good. Highly recommend."
"Wow! This place exceeded my expectations! The food was fresh and delicious! Since everything is made to order, be prepared to wait a little but I promise it's worth the wait! I got the larb noodle salad and got my kids the chicken bites. We ended with the choco roti with ice cream. The roti was crispy and delicious! Kind of like a crepe. Will definitely be back to try other dishes!"
"Perfect in every way. Amazing taste, portions big enough for left overs. Love the fresh shrimp spring rolls, the fried egg roles, wonton soup, filet mignon pho and shrimp fried rice! The perfect go to for a Sunday night in at home!"
"This place is great. I got take out on a Sunday morning. The wait was minimal. I got to order at the kiosk and it was super easy to order and customize the pho. The price is great for the portions and the quality of food. The veggies were fresh. The broth was delicious! I will definitely come back. Plenty of parking available. Sitting is available inside and outside."
"This place is great despite all the recent bad reviews. My husband and I decided to try this place out since it was in our minds for a long time. We loved the food that we ordered here! Everything was amazing! Great quality. Here is what we ordered:1. Bánh khọt shrimp 2. Bánh hỏi heo quay yoyo 3. Mì xào cá salmon The first two dishes are the best sellers at the restaurant"
"Coming from a Vietnamese, this place is THE BEST com tam in Orange County... hands down. I like to try com tam at different places but always come back to this place. I've been eating here since their OG location which was literally a few restaurants down from where it is now. Used to come here after every Sunday mass with my family. Their rice, meat selection, fish sauce, spring rolls, everything is sooo delicious! Not to mention took the huge portions they give you! Honestly their com tam incomparable imo. Try this place out and I know you'll also love the food. This place needs more love! I'm sad to see this place not as crowded as it used to be at its original location. I hope they stay in business because they're the best in town."
"Really great service and friendly staff. This bun bo hue tasted so homemade. Homemade hits different and I loved it. Good amount and filling. Definitely coming back again. Also has their Banh Bot Loc (tapioca shrimp/pork dumpling) wrapped in banana leaf. So tasty I didn't need the dipping sauce!!! That says a lot!"
"This spot was recommended for the crispy rice chicken and it did not disappoint bc I love burnt crispy rice and the ginger sauce was really good. We ended up ordering 5 Togos to share with family. Our server says they specialize in bun rieu so we had to try that as well. Their bun rieu reminded me of Vietnam when I was there last year. Soup was very flavorful, better than most places I've tried. The chicken salad was good too. We also tried the mi ga roti (roasted chicken w/dry noodle). That was our least favorite dish, the sauce didn't match with the noodles and and the chicken didn't have much flavor. I thought it was better with the ginger sauce that came with the rice. The gentlemen who served us was patient and accommodating. Will def come back for more crispy rice chicken."
"Daymnnnnnnnnn finger lickin good Portobello tenders!!! Seriously!! You need these mushrooms in your life right now lol I dunno bout the other foods here, but the portobello tender is a MUST GET! 10/10!!GOLDEN! CRUNChY! FAT & JuiCy! FRESHHHH! Owner was asking me if I needed some extra dips. I refused, but if you're a saucy person then you will need extras. BUY IT! The little sauce container was pretty small. About $9!! I don't even like fried foods much...No REgREtz!!"
"A++++++++++++++++++ food to go restaurantService is goodFood is good too Everything is clean. My aunt bring my parent here"
"Tried this spot for the first time and ordered to go for my wife and me. You can tell they just opened--only two servers working--but they were hustling and doing their best to keep up. Despite that, the food was ready in a reasonable time, and the service was friendly. Parking is easy! The pho had so much flavor, and the ingredients tasted really fresh. Definitely one of the better bowls I've had in a while. Next time, I wouldn't mind dining in and trying one of their rice dishes. I'll definitely be back!"
"A friend recommended this place. We tried their canh bun bun rieu and ca soup with iced coffee. Noodles were alright. 7/10. The iced coffee was so black. We asked for more milk but they didn't have any. 1/10."
"Beautiful restaurant and very warm service! :)My siblings and I came to dine here tonight and we ordered the egg rolls, spring rolls, fried tofu and garlic fries for appetizers. Everything was delicious and had different flavors. Each dish had its own sauces which they served to our tables and explained which goes with which :)Next, we ordered five phos, two of the phos with filet mignon and brisket. The meat was soooo tender and delicious! We all loved the broth! It's always nice to find a pho place whose broth is fresh and not oily. We also ordered a fried rice. It tasted really nice, but it was dry :') We ended up putting our pho broth on it, but it was still good. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone who lives in the area. We all live in different cities, but if we come back to Garden Grove for pho, it would definitely be here at 99999.Again, stellar service from everyone here at the restaurant! Thank you :D"
"The seafood here was amazing and fresh... I recommend coming in early so they don't run out of certain seafoods... as they did not have all the clams when we came last. The service was pretty good but you do have to wave down the server a few times to bring napkins and water when they are busy.I'd give them 5 stars but their noodles are meh... and the soup I had last time was lackluster as well. So I highly recommend seafood and stick to the seafood!"
"Hidden gem in my opinion. They're definitely known for their broken rice dishes but I decided to try their Goi Ga (Chicken Salad) which was super flavorful and my friend got one of their rice dishes. The salad had fish sauce on the side too but the salad itself was salty enough for my tastebuds. They have a deal for certain dishes like the Chicken Salad so you can order 2 entrees and get 1 free or order 1 entree and get 1 free select drink. I got the dessert drink Che Ba Mau which was sweet and perfect after the meal. Inside was pretty busy and spacious. Many dishes to choose from so worth the try!"
