"The Family and I had lunch yesterday at Telefèric Barcelona. We arrived around 12;30 without a reservation. The restaurant was buzzing but I wasn't surprised. The weather was beautiful after three days of rain and people were out and about. We have been to tapas restaurants before and it is one of our favorite kinds of food and dining experiences. The concept of sharing a dish or small bites isn't foreign to us. Although, I have to say that Telefèric Barcelona is probably the closest the Family and I will get to Barcelona for now. The footprint of the restaurant is pretty small and beautifully decorated. It is a comfortable unpretentious environment. The menu is just as comforting and unpretentious. It was hard to choose what to eat. So many things on the menu had my imagination soaring. While we were trying to decide on what to order, our server, Biel arrived. He asked if we had been to Telefèric Barcelona. For the Mrs. it was the second time. The Mrs. and I started off with two Margaritas. They were really good and the bartender made them from scratch. No mix! We then moved on to the food. Starting with Crab Croquetas which were topped with tuna sashimi and spicy aioli. Next were the Empanadas stuffed with roasted chicken and served with spicy aioli. The presentation was innovative and the flavor and texture were incredible. I would describe the Empanadas as more of a fried ravioli in their appearance. We then moved on to a Paella Bomb which Paella arancino(rice) filled with shrimp bisque that you inject into the dish yourself. Being able to inject the bisque was a fun way to engage with the dish. The Mrs. and I shared the Prime Wellington from the Platos menu. Telefèric Barcelona's take on Beef Wellington keeps the tradition of the dish but with better flavors in my view. Braised short ribs wrapped Ibérico ham and encased in a flaky puff pastry roll, served with Spanish-style potatoes. The Wellington was delivered and injected by the food runner with a large metal syringe that held the beef demi glacé. We loved it! I have to say that you CANNOT dine at Telefèric Barcelona without having the Wellington. My daughter ordered the Gambellini which were the most delicate ravioli I've ever tasted. They were stuffed with shrimp and bacon. The sauce that accompanied the ravioli was so light and rich. For dessert we shared the Trío selection of Telefèric's most popular desserts: churros, torrija and "Flan & Coffee". Ice cream was included to add to the richness of each dessert. The "Flan & Coffee" were my favorite. The pace of our meal was perfect. We didn't feel rushed at all which I know is a concept in the Spanish dining experience that many Americans don't embrace in their gastronomical lives. It was also great to hear Castilian Spanish being spoken. The service we received from Biel and the rest of the staff we interacted with was great. I look forward to returning to Telefèric Barcelona."
"This establishment is amazing. Not only is the food great but the service is phenomenal. We need more restaurants and cafes like this."

"This place is an awesome little find. Good place to have a quiet drink and the food is amazing. I didn't know you could come here since it's located on the base - but anyone can come in and go to the pub. I love this place."
"Four star review because the portions here are insane! I got the chicken fiesta burrito bowl and this could easily feed 3 people. I love the service here and the staff are incredibly inviting. The ambience is great because you can sit here and eat, while getting some work done."
"I highly recommend making a reservation as this place is quite small and very popular. The service was excellent. We've been here many times and it never disappoints us. I ate the complimentary bread too quick to take a picture of it. The berry salad is seasonal so if it's available you need to order it. The salad is enough for two people to share and is very refreshing. The lasagna is very hearty and full of flavor. I love how they use two sauces a ragu meat style and a white creamy sauce. My husband ordered the spaghetti carbonara which was as equally delicious. We wouid of loved a dessert but were too full. There's nothing better then homemade pasta. If you haven't tried this restaurant you need to go soon."
"This was a surprise for me - I had never heard of this restaurant. Upon arrival the seating seemed a bit too open for my taste but I adjusted and it was fine . They have a great whisky list and the wine list is pretty good as well. I do need to take a moment to silence for the Wagyu steak. It was so good! They give you a soy egg sauce for dipping if you'd like and it's pretty tasty. Staff was very informative and attentive throughout the meal. I can't wait to go back."
"Truly the most epic dining experience I have ever had at a restaurant. Was trying to find a place worthy enough for our 25th anniversary and took a chance on here. I could not have picked a better place. The best food (and most expensive) I have ever had. The atmosphere, views, service, food, and drink were truly on another level compared to any restaurant I've dined at.The restaurant is in the Waldorf Astoria. Valet is validated and will cost you $10 + tip which is not bad given the location. You walk in the door and you have a truly breathtaking view. Go past the hotel check-in and the restaurant is to the left. I was expected to be seated at some crappy 2 seater table but instead we were given the best table in the house with a panoramic view of the resort and pacific ocean. Along with our menus we were given two glasses of champagne for our anniversary. After placing our orders we were brought out a complimentary red pepper gazpacho served in a tiny coffee or tea cup. This tiny soup packed so much flavor I knew instantly we were going to have a great experience. Next we were brought out a complimentary trio of duck fat fries. Three difference seasonings with three dips. One was furikake, another was truffle, and the 3rd I wasn't sure. All three were super crispy and a flavor explosion. Manners will be thrown out because you'll be double dipping for all you're worth. For the last complimentary item they brought out their brioche roll injected with truffle butter. It had the texture of a yeast donut. It was effing mind blowing. No truffle oil here, you got black specks of truffle oozing out of this masterpiece. Again, you'll abandon your manners as you suck the butter off your fingers.Next we had their "Instant Bacon" which was braised pork belly, brussels sprouts hash, tempura oyster, and bourbon-soy glaze. It was covered when it arrived and when they lifted the lid a wonderful wood smoke aroma wafted around us. Every bite was moan inducing and we both loved it.My wife ordered the filet mignon topped with blue cheese. It was a la carte so we ordered some sautéed mushrooms and their fingerling potatoes to share. The steak was cooked to perfection and she really enjoyed it. She said next time she would get the truffle butter as a topper instead. I was going to order the same thing until they read off the specials of the night. I got the smoked wagyu ribeye cap which came with smoked shitake mushrooms and purple mashed potatoes. Then he said the price...... I hesitated but then said inside my head "YOLO.... eff it". They brought out a glass dome filled with smoke. They removed the dome and my meal was unveiled in a taste bud watering smoky aroma. Every single bite was literally the best tasting steak I have ever had. And the smoke wasn't for gimmick, it was totally infused into the food. Every few seconds I kept saying "oh my god, this is soo good... how is this so good?" To keep with the YOLO theme we also added Hokkaido scallops to our entrees which were astronomically priced but also out of this world delicious. The only negative of the night was the fingerling potatoes covered in cheddar cheese and bacon. They did not live up to the standards of the other dishes. Tiny minuscule amount of bacon bit style bacon and some runny flavorless cheese. Neither of us cared for it. The mushrooms though were perfect. Both huge portions and honestly one side was enough for two people. We brought half of it home. They have a lot of entrees served tableside too such as a whole chicken and whole lobster pot pie. They also had some tableside cocktails. Several seafood options too.For drinks I had their "new world" Manhattan rye whiskey, cognac, carpano antica, cynar amaro, and chocolate bitters. Like a broken record I kept declaring "this is so good". By the end of the meal I had to try their old school New York sour using Metallica's Blackened Whiskey. The cocktails are expensive but I was so sh*t faced after my two drinks we sat around the hotel after and looked at the view for an hour. Donna had the "Bees Knees" and some odd yet delicious drink made with carrot juice.By now we felt like we were going to die but I saw pictures on yelp of their Basque cheesecake. This golden brown baked cheesecake with a brulee crust was in a league of its own. They also brought us out a free chocolate mouse like dessert that was the richest thing ever.Speaking of rich... man, that was some bill BUT it was worth every penny to give us the absolute perfect 25th anniversary. We will definitely be back. The portions are large and they have plenty of sharable items so you can eat here without going as crazy as we did."
"I feel like a little trip to India when dining here. Good vibe with great view of the harbor tooHighlights of the menu:1. Lassi traditional Indian mango2. Vegetable Thali set: fermented spinach, mountain style black lentil, mustered green, mixed veg curry rice, pickle, papad, yogurt, salad3. Indian bread nan - all cooked in clay oven4. Chicken tikka masala"
"The food here was delicious! I came on New Years Eve at noon and it was dinner menu/price all day ($66.99). I don't know which meats are not served during lunch, but the variety for the dinner menu is plentiful. They don't have hot seafood, just cold shrimp and smoked salmon at the salad bar. My favorite cuts of meats were the lamb sirloin, lamb chops, picanha (steak sirloin), Brazilian sausage, and spicy cubed steak. Everything else is had was good except for the leg of lamb, which was too dry for my liking. Salad bar has a lot of delicious items as well! While they service overall was great, there were two meat carvers who was unfriendly and extremely rude. The server who was wearing a mask serving the steak picanha expected me to remember what the meat was. He had come by one other time and we got a piece from him and when he came back again, I asked what it was because it looked a lot like the lamb sirloin (rolled up in the same fashion as the steak picanha). He responds with an eye roll and tells me, "Its what I brought to you before!" I felt like I owed him money and an apology for existing. He comes back another time throwing down the circular plate that catches the meat skewer/juices and it spilled the meat juice all over my table next to my plate. He didn't offer to clean it up and goes about his business. I asked my server to come and give me more napkins to wipe up his mess - our kind server wiped it up for us. The other meat server guy (wears glasses) who was also unfriendly with a bad attitude was serving the garlic cubed steak/ spicy cubed steak. Overall, I'd give this place much higher stars if it were for those two negative meat servers.... would I come back again and recommend this place? Yep! But be wary of some of the attitude from the meat carvers."
"We stumbled upon this restaurant coming back from visiting our friends in Corona. It was on the way home, and I needed to use the restroom. It was also a good time to stop and get the dogs out of the car for a little walk. After stopping, I decided I was hungry :) Checked their menu real quick to make sure they could accommodate my gluten allergy they could! Great service, and I would say good BBQ. I had the baby back ribs and the smoked 1/4 chicken... And in my opinion, those were the best option. My husband tried brisket, tri-tip and St Louis Ribs. For what it was, it was good and I'm happy to support a local restaurant that isn't a chain- however, our best friend is the best meat smoker I've ever met so I'm a little spoiled when it comes to BBQ."
"Food was delicious and everyone in our family enjoyed their meal. The server was enthusiastic about the food and wine that was being served. We loved the seating area in the center which created a cozy yet elegant vibe but not too fancy that you felt out of place. Our favorite was the CALAMARETTI FRITTI, POLIPO CON PATATE, GNOCCHI GRATINATI and RIGATONI ALLA VODKA. Our family genuinely loved our experience and we will be back."
"Impeccable service, beautiful ambiance!I had the house Prosecco. Light, crisp and refreshing.I had the Messalina: enjoy the richness of the anchovies in this Caesar Salad. This was half the Penne al' Arriabata. The pasta was perfectly al dente. The sauce was savory, divine roasted garlic and a bit of heat.I was so satisfied with no room for dessert. The service is attentive and helpful.I heard that the opera singer does not perform anymore and I am sorry to hear that.*note Valet Parking is $15"

One of my friends recommended eating here for a celebration, and I am sooo glad she did. I hadn't heard of it before and had no idea what to expect. We arrived during the late afternoon, so the sun was setting and this place looked gorgeous on the outside and the inside. The furniture was beautiful as well, and it set the mood for what was to come. Service was good, but there were moments they were trying to take our food too early. After that, they stopped taking the plates out or stopping by our table, and we were desperate for water. Luckily, the food was absolutely amazing so I still will give it 5 stars. I just wish the dishes were bigger, but they are tapas. What we ordered:Crab Croquetas: this was so goooood! It was the perfect amount of crunchy and creamy.Patatas Bravas: the flavor on this was also amazing. There's cream with a tomato-ish sauce.Empanadas: the empanadas reminded me more of fried wontons with a different flavor to it. I liked this with the sauce, but would probably skip this and order something else next time. Prime Wellington: the mix of the puff pastry, sauce, and short ribs was perfect. The potatoes that it comes with were also delicious!! It was so crispy and light. Paella Mixta: this was definitely the star of the show. I haven't had a good paella in a while, and I loved how crispy the rice was in the pan. We devoured all the dishes, but especially this one. Soooo good. I can't wait to go back and try new things (and get some of the dishes we already had)!

We had a hankering for cheeseburgers. Hof's did not disappoint. They offer several different variations of this classic, each being oh so tasty. While the restaurant was busy for lunch, the level of service did not suffer.Give your mouth a treat. Get to Hof's Hut!

Great little local spot. Clean food and nice ambiance. kind of place you run into your neighbors. Grateful for the convenient location in the middle of residential area. Taking off 1 star because the hours are very limited as they also cater.

The low rating is due to the taste of food NOT the service. Our waiter was wonderful and the hostess greeted as enthusiastically. I set reservations to celebrate my birthday with my girlfriends and we were able to sit outside by the fire pit. It was pretty empty when we came and the location is a bit odd as it's between business complexes. You'll have to park in the structure but the restaurant will validate your ticket! The dishes we got were mostly misses which is quite unfortunate. It went kinda downhill after the appetizers. Appetizers were pretty solid but we were not fans of the entrees we ordered.Scallop crudo (4/5): personally my favorite of the night as it was citrusy and refreshing. One of my friends did not enjoy it as much as I did bc it was too citrusy for her.Salmon crudo (3/5): salmon was fresh and tastes like salmon poke but I didn't think it paired well with the sweet potato chips bc the chips weren't crispy enough. Crab and shrimp linguine (4/5): standard linguine pasta, thought it was good but nothing mind blowing.Wagyu crispy noodle (1/5): tooooo salty that it was not enjoyable even if the meat used was wagyu. Kind of reminded me of Vietnamese crispy birdnest noodles but gentrified... and no veggies just edible flowers that didn't really add anything to the dish. Unfortunately don't think I will be back for the food taste.

Came here for my wife's birthday and boy was it an experience. I recommend making a reservation and requesting the patio. When arriving you have to valet your car as there's no other parking, but you can get it validated at the restaurant and with validation it'll be $10.It was pretty chilly even though we wanted to catch the sunset, luckily they have heaters per person outside and they also brought my wife a blanket. The service here was amazing tbh. The price of food is comparable to mastros, but the service here is a lot better. They're pretty attentive and have 2 people per table checking on you. For food, we got 3 complimentary apps.1. potato puree 3/52. French fry sampler 5/5 there was 3 types of seasonings on the fries and then 3 types of dips. My wifes favorite was the truffle dip and mine was simply just the ketchup as the fries themselves had their own seasonings LOL3. truffle butter infused bread 7/5 holyhell...bread was amazing. When you bite in truffle butter will come out. Sooo freaking rich but delicious.Ordered:Wagyu trio, i believe it was a striploin, rib cap, a5 roughly $300. The rib cap was the best not too fatty but fatty enough. the A5, was way too fatty. I believe it's just how it's cut, it's a lot thicker than going to a Japanese bbq serving A5.Ribeye Cap special with applewood smoke roughly $125? (receipt to be posted) pretty much same as from the trio but more pieces as the trio is 4oz of each vs this was i believe 8 oz.Appstruffle mac n cheese 5/5 - pasta cooked al dente, but not too hard and great flavor of the truffle mac n cheesebroccolini 3/5 sounded great but the chili peppers on it were honestly tough, didn't really contribute much as it wasn't too spicy eitherWagyu fried rice 4/5 - wife's other favorite.DessertSouffle de jour - 5/5 it was a lychee flavor, but not too overpowering. Just enough to taste it and it was paired beautifully with vanilla bean ice cream.Overall, 5/5 experience coming here. You definitely get what you pay for vs some other places you're paying a few hundred dollars and not getting full with bad service. This restaurant lives up to the price tag with the good food, great ambiance, and fantastic service. Definitely great for special occasions.

My weekly lunch buddy and Ilanded here this lunchtime. I had noticed it in Peter's Landing on my way up to Seal Beach. I was intrigued by the name and when I mentioned it to JP he said "it is one of our favorites ".I love the location, right in the Marina, looking out on the moored pleasure craft. The restaurant itself is light and bright and high-ceilings. The menu was fairly typical for South Asian food, and I was looking forward to having my sinuses cleaned out by powerful curries and spice. The waiter was very pleasant and helpful and we selected the lamb curry for me, and the beef for JP.The platters were visually beautiful, but totally lacking in heat or spice. The lamb was delicious and perfectly stewed but I tasted no curry at all.I am still giving this restaurant 5 stars. The view, the service, the ambiance, the beauty of the presentation. It is not as though there are plenty of actual Himalayans looking for the taste of their homeland to keep the shop afloat, when most of their customers in Sunset Beach are plenty white!

"Such a beautiful experience at The Fifth! Very busy & packed so a reservation is recommended. The food is great & the drinks are great too. Staff is very kind! The best part about this rooftop bar is the prime location for viewing fireworks. The fireworks are so clear to see from here & so romantic! Definitely a great spot for a date night."
"While visiting San Clemente, we were looking for a breakfast place to eat with outside seating to accommodate my dog, and so glad we chose this spot. The food was unbelievable. All 3 dishes were amazing, and we didn't need to add any sauces or condiments as they were perfect the way they served it.The service was so exceptionally great, and they gave my doggie water and were so kind to him and us.I will definitely come back here again as the place looks as it would be super cute at night."
"The restaurant has easy parking and food is delicious. Went at Christmas and it was very beautiful and my food was fantastic Great service and the young girl that waited on us was excellent. The picture is Xmas with friends on my birthday"
"Wow I'm in love with this restaurant and I'm happy to have found this through their 50th anniversary prime rib special at $23.50! It included so much: salad bar and soup bar and cheesey bread appetizer with the entree. I made a reservation for my party and they easily accommodated the change from 3 to 4 people. The views are gorgeous from sunset to night time. We went during a weekday so it was free parking instead of valet and you just know it wasn't as crowded as it could have been compared to a weekend night. I'd love to go one more time!"
"Went here for a girls night and i absolutely adored the ambiance and vibe of this place. The bartenders are extremely knowledgeable and skilled in their craft. The staff were so welcoming and friendly, i felt like i was visiting my friend's home. We had 5 different cocktails and i was blown away by each one!! Each drink is crafted with passion and perfection. Their cocktails are amazing, but don't sleep on their delicious food. We devoured the guac/ceviche and the rack of lamb. The unique twists and out of the box foods are definitely worth trying! Such a wonderful and fun experience, definitely can't wait to go back."
"Here for Super Bowl 2025. This place has an extremely tight serving and cooking team. Good atmosphere, great prices, fast service. Nadia served me and was excellent."
"I had driven past this restaurant for years, but I finally decided to go for lunch. Walking in the restaurant it looks very clean and cozy. The waiter was professional and efficient. I ordered the chicken Parmesan with pasta and it was delicious. The chicken was tender and moist. The pasta was very well seasoned. I'd like to come back again with my family."
"The first time I came here during opening week, it was packed, and I thought, "Okay, this is cute" but it didn't immediately make me want to go again. Fast forward to yesterday--Sunday lunch at 12:30 p.m.--and the place was emptier than my social calendar after a breakup. Vibes? Off. My mom immediately asked me, "What's wrong with this place?" and I told her, "Oh, it's still early. It'll pick up." It didn't and Mama noticed. We were the only people in the entire restaurant. The food? Decent. The sashimi was chef's kiss--fresh and tasty. The cooked food? Eh, better luck next time- "You're just doing too much." If you come, definitely stick to the sushi and sashimi; they've got that down. Simple. Beautiful cuts. Fresh wasabi. As for the price, prepare to pay like you're dining oceanfront--except there's no ocean in sight. The space is gorgeous, service is great, but you're mostly paying for the Pacific City zip code and the view of... I think the Pasea????Final verdict: Beautiful bougie decor perfect for the Gram, good sashimi and sushi but don't expect your wallet to leave happy. Im not sure what it is about Kai but... it just felt off. Overall, maybe bring your Ex's credit card because I wouldn't want to front this bill on my own."
"Visited on a Wednesday when they first opened and it was pretty chill - not a lot of people have arrived yet. Happy hour runs really late, 10 pm I believe - and it was $1 drinks. After around 6-7ish, the brewery was PACKED. All the tables were filled and there was a line to get drinks. Plenty of board games to play - had a blast here."
"After seeing this place on TikTok, we decided to give it a try because it looked so good! It's a bit confusing, but this place primarily serves as an event venue and they also have all you can eat brunch with bottomless champagne available on the weekends. There are two brunch sessions each lasting 2 hours and you can call them to make your reservation. I called and left a message the night before and received a call the following morning that they could take us! Limited parking is available in back or in another lot on the side but street parking is also available as well. We lucked out and got a space on the street right outside the restaurant. Service is fantastic, we were greeted kindly and promptly seated. Servers also frequently came by to take our used dishes. We do not drink alcohol but they for sure are not stingy about the champagne and would go around asking all the guests if they wanted some or needed any refills. We were seated outside which is a lovely area and the mariachi tends to focus there. They performed a variety of songs and would take requests from people as they moved around. Only con is that it can be extremely hot outside in this summer weather. Food is amazing. They have a waffle bar, a taco bar with tortillas being handmade on the spot along with wonderful salsas, a dessert bar with fruits and fresh baked goods, an omelet station, a hot food bar with enchiladas, chilaquiles, rice, beans, mole, chimichangas, etc. as well as pozole and menudo. If you don't drink champagne there is coffee and agua frescas that can be self served. We will definitely come back! And consider this place for any events in the future as well because the food is so good!"
"I found this place after searching through Yelp for a nice restaurant for a holiday family dinner and I was soooo satisified with our experience here. I made reservations through OpenTable, and had to call them on the day of because 2 of my family members got sick so we had to change the party number. Our server (I forgot her name, I'm sorry!) was absolutely amazing. She was so helpful in explaining the menu and giving us recommendations for both food and drinks. My family ordered wine, and I got a Ranch Water cocktail, which was delicious and festive. The bread that comes out was so delicious! The loaf was shaped like a flower, and each section was a different type of bread. I fell in love with the jalapeno and whole wheat. For a party of 4, we ordered to share - the clam chowder, scallops, sea bass, and porterhouse steak. Everything was so delicious and cooked to perfection! My family and I loved every single dish. The restaurant is actually located on the first floor of a huge office(?) building, but that also means there's plenty of parking. The ambiance inside is cozy, intimate, and spacious - my family loved the vibe of the place! The Ranch is the perfect place to celebrate a special occasion and I'll definitely be keeping them on my list of places to take my loved ones!"
"This restaurant is located in the Balboa Fun Zone. You pay for parking using the parking meter or parkmobile app. Restaurant opens at 11:30 AM. Our party arrived on time, but the gate was closed. Luckily the staff was reachable by phone to open the gates. *Happy Hour Review*Contrary to whats posted on the website, the All Day Happy Hour applies to open-seating and not just the bar which I found to be great because we had a party of 4. I love the vibe of the saloon and the indoor dining areas. I also love the view of the harbor. The windows are not tinted so people walking by for their boat reservations can see you by the way. Also great music choices as they play some country songs. As for the food itself, it was as expected for a happy hour. The portions were a little bit on the smaller side, so you don't leave hungry but you also don't leave really full. We ordered the BBQ Slider x2 (singular, there are not multiple sliders), clam chowder, side of fries, calamari appetizer, and a bacon burger. Definitely reference my pictures for an idea of the portions. This restaurant is known for their seafood, so I'll try not to be too critical. The BBQ brisket sliders were delicious and nothing tasted bad. Clam Chowder was AMAZING, but it's just a cup of soup so I wish there was more. I was not a fan of the calamari just because I didn't like the tempura over breading. Fries were fries, they're good but a little thin. Perhas I will try the actual seafood dinner options someday, but I do not expect to see a change in portion sizes."
"charming, checkdelicious, checkgreat service, checklowkey-high standards, checkgood drinks, checkwe had the ahi tuna, meatballs, lobster rav, clams, and their table bread nice and soft and warmand then a calligraphy class upstairsmisty, the owner, was a complete doll, made us feel like we were welcomed into her private home. such a sweet establishment, I highly recommend."
"We had a great experience ordering food for take out from Orange Curry. We went into the shop not knowing much and taking up a lot of their time trying to decide what to order. They never tried to rush us and were super accommodating and polite, offering us samples from the steam table. We ordered many different items: aloo gobi (cauliflower potato), palak paneer (spinach cheese), chicken tikka masala, daal (lentils), goat curry, rice, naan. Everything tasted really good! Some a little more spicy (palak paneer) than others but not bad really and a mild/medium on the spice scale. Pro tip: add sour cream or plain yogurt and it pairs so well while toning down the spice.Orange Curry is a great way to try Indian food if you're new to it since they offer samples. It's also great for take out since the portions are huge! and there's limited seating (3 tables). Mango Lassi (mango yogurt smoothie) is so good. Super filling so share with another person of you won't be able to eat your dinner!"
"I haven't left a yelp review in a while but wanted to jump on here to boost this restaurants rating because local restaurants are having a hard time these days and I thought this place was great. All the food was really flavorful and I thought the price point was really reasonable for what they were serving. Had lobster bisque, fried catfish and the steak. Service was really attentive too. Will definitely be back for my NOLA fix!Heads up they only have a beer and wine license (offer soju cocktails though)"
"Really enjoyed my Sunday lunch here.We were the only customers here around 1pm but people started trickling in thereafter.Live pianist was playing and he was good. You can make reservations for outside patio on Reesy online. I think outside seating is preferred but with live music I think either are great. Enjoyed my coffee, lasagna, and tried the branzino--all of which was great. Service and view were great and I see myself coming back for dinner sometime."
"Wow! New coffee spot - recommended by our children. So pleased we came. Ordered a cappuccino (my husbands "test" drink at any new place) and I got a mocha (best one ever!). Both perfect.Spacious space - varied seating with a fun and authentic motorcycle (and typewriter) decor. Guava Danish hit the spot.Owner and CEO Crystal is especially warm and enthusiastic - so welcoming. Easy to make this a regular place for us!"
"Parking is either street parking or they have a small parking lot reserved for Maz Cafe at the corner (it's only 4 spaces). Inside is very spacious with plenty of seating available. You order via the kiosk and I got the Maz Latte (sweet and nutty flavors of mazapan peanut candy, rich hazelnut, and decadent chocolate). The drink was not too sweet, but once I got to the bottom of the drink, it was sweet. So I think I didn't mix it well enough. The drink was pretty good and love the unique flavors blended. Recommendation(s):- Maz LatteService: 5/5Tip(s):- 4 parking spaces reserved for Maz Cafe around the corner- Accept Apple Pay- Order via kiosk"
"Loved the location and outdoor seating area! Pet friendly, fireplace and friendly staff.Portion sizes vary!!The huevos rancheros plate is so small not fillingBut the chicken in Barrada pesto sandwich is so hearty and hefty but both delicious!Great spot to visit if you're exploring SJC. We actually had lunch and drinks here and it was so easy to head out and visit other cool spots all walking distance."
"After meeting with some friends who were staying at the Grand Californian, we wanted to keep the evening going with a few beers and drinks so we headed to Ballast Point in Downtown Disney.I'd been here before when they first opened and had a great experience so it's no surprise we had a good one this time as well. When we arrived late Saturday night (like an hour and a half before they closed), we were able to be seated pretty much immediately. Our group of 4 was seated at a table in their main dining area. Beers were solid and we also ordered some cocktails from their menu that were good too! They've got a large selection with varying ABV percentages so you can really decide what kind of night you'd like to have. I shared their burger and it was a pretty good burger. Nothing amazing, but definitely a good pair for a night of drinks. Service was great. Our server was super helpful and quick in getting us refills and whatever else we needed for our food. He was also super helpful when we had other friends stop by - offering to combine another table for us so they could join in. He even hooked them up with an extra glass after last call and we really appreciated it!If you're looking for a casual dining place for a large group in downtown Disney, this is a great option!"
"Great location for this restaurant and I'm gonna tell you some of the best service that we have had , very attentive. They put us at the very back of the restaurant which in my opinion is the front because it was literally on the boardwalk as close to the boats as you can possibly get however, it was a bit far off from the other tables, but our waiter made it a point to keep coming back even though I feel like it was out of his way he kept coming back to ask us how everything was did we want more wine? Is there anything else he can get us? Can I turn the heater up? He was Amazing(I only wish I had remembered his name. I think he was Italian.) My favorite for the night was the Hawaiian style meatballs, pineapple citrusy really good Wagyu beef . I must say the wine list is so impressive so many different wines from Napa Valley, WillametteOregon , Paso , Sonoma, so many different great choices in wines Of course they have a full bar . This place gets a little vibey, a little bit later with the younger generation, but we had a reservation for 630. It was perfect."
"I'm late giving my review! Five Vines is a freaking GEM of an establishment. Family run. Gracefully survived Covid (miss those hay bails!) and is just delightful. Great food and superior service. But be nice, the wait staff is busy. For a reason! Happy to return time and time again."
