Some Thai places do!(3) Food is here genuinely really good!Pretty much all the items I have ordered for my family and I have been delicious. Very fresh and savory. My parents favs (and mine as well) is the signature Tom Yum Rice Noodle Soup - a classic Thai-style hot and sour soup. Complex, yet comforting for it is bursting with citrusy, spicy, savory and sweet flavors! We also love getting the Garlic & Black Pepper Sauce with Beef and The Bun's fav is the BBQ Chicken. I am a huge curry fan and my favs here are: Massaman, Panang and Green curry. I truly appreciate they do not skimp out on the protein. As for appetizers - we love getting the Thai Rice Cake Chive, The Beef Jerky and the Chicken Wings were surprisingly scrumptious. Just wish for The Beef Jerky - portion was kinda small, perhaps more veggies to accompany it would be nice.I've never dined in before but I've done pick-up for take-out and as well as delivery. Although the interior is small with several tables to sit at, you can feel the hominess and comfortability. The staff are pleasant and friendly. "I have been a fan of Suthathip ever since they opened in Anaheim Hills about 7 years ago. Although it is a bit out of the way, I still come here on and off just because the food is so good. I assure you that it is definitely worth the extra driving distance to get there as you will find some of the most authentic and delicious Thai cuisines in the entire OC.Their lunch special is also one of the best bargains in town and each entrée includes soup or salad. Pictured above is a broccoli and chicken lunch special served with steamed rice and fried wontons. I also like their traditional pad thai (fried rice noodles) as well as their curry dishes. The restaurant's yellow curry is particularly on point, and I like it moderately spicy.For a hearty dinner, I recommend crying tiger - a tender and flavorful rib eye steak served with their signature sweet chili sauce. Seafood lovers have plenty of fish entrees to choose from. My personal favorite is deep fried tilapia with garlic pepper."

"Ty Yelp community for steering us in the right direction! We drove in from Vegas and skipping lunch we were ready to grub! This place is in a shopping center right across from our hotel. The plaza is loaded with restaurants. We did not regret our choice. We were warmly greeted and sat quickly. We ordered the Chicken Pad Thai, crispy egg rolls, Beef salad and Mixed Veggie with Shrimp. Told you we were hungry What did we like ....EVERYTHING! I ate the salad by myself. The meat was pretty lean and well cooked. Salad was very fresh and lightly dressed. The veggies in my stir fry with shrimp were cooked to perfection and they even removed the shrimp tails for you. Not drowning in sauce which I appreciate a lot. My husband polished off the Pad Thai which I didn't try. But he thoroughly enjoyed it. I had a bite of one of the egg rolls and was also fresh and flavorful. Not overly greasy. We were so pleased with all of our selections. Service was great, restaurant was very clean. We were the only ones dining in and our server was cleaning non stop when she wasn't waiting on us. This place does a ton of takeout orders, even though we were the only ones in the restaurant people were coming and going the entire time picking up food.When we are in town, we will definitely hit this place up again !"

"On this cold evening warm Thai food sounded perfect! One of our favorite local places is Elephant Cafe in Lake Forest. This small restaurant is on a busy corner intersection so if you aren't paying attention, you can miss the driveway to enter and then you have a long block before you can turn around. Elephant Cafe is a charming place with super friendly staff and amazingly authentic food. There are plenty of options for everyone. They even customize the level of heat on many of their dishes. Tonight the place was hopping! Booths full of customers chatting away and a constant flow of take out orders. I got take out as well and only had to wait about 10 minutes or so for our food. Tonight's menu was fried wonton, Thai Basil Fried Rice with veggies and Mild heat and Pad Kee Mao noodles with Chicken and Mild heat. We are so happy eating our yummy Thai food and watching college basketball at home! Prices are excellent too and I highly recommend Elephant Cafe!"

Pinkie, our server, was friendly and patient, taking the time to explain the menu and making sure we felt comfortable. I can be a bit hesitant with pronunciations, but she made me feel completely at ease and never rushed, all while bringing our food and drinks out quickly.We started with the Tom Kha Gai and pineapple fried rice. The Tom Kha Gai was especially impressive, with a broth that was full of flavor despite its clean, white appearance. The menu is packed with so many tempting options, making it hard not to want to order more. I'm glad I controlled myself, though, as the portions were generous, and the value for what we got was excellent. I will say we did wait a while for our orders. We waited approximately 35 minutes for our food.Food & drinks: They have a large menu filled with traditional Lao and Thai dishes.1) Pho Lao - Lao original rice noodle soup with beef balls, sliced beef, green onion, cilantro, and bean sprouts. This was my first time trying Lao pho, and it did not disappoint! They only offer one size, and I'd consider it a large bowl. The broth was very delicious, generous amount of meat, and lots of noodles. I'd prefer less toppings of yellow onion, but I really enjoyed this dish. 4/52) Rad Na - Fried rice noodle, topped with beef gravy, made of Chinese vegetables and chicken. The chicken and Chinese broccoli were cooked well. Everything was drenched in the beef gravy. The beef gravy was too salty for me, but everything else was good. 3.5/53) Nam Kao Tod - Crispy fried rice. You can tell which pieces were fried on the outside and which were on the inside. The outside pieces of the rice were definitely crispy. Fair warning, you might get some pieces stuck to your teeth lol. I really enjoyed this basic rice dish. 4/54) Thai Tea - Really refreshing. You can see the layers of tea and creamer. I believe the ratio is 50% tea and 50% creamer. It wasn't too sweet, but I'd prefer the tea flavor would be stronger. 4/55) Green Thai Tea - This was also refreshing. The green tea flavor definitely came through. It wasn't too sweet either and perfect amount of creamer. 4/5Pricing: Prices are $$$ which is basically the average price now. Our total came out to $68.19 (tip included). I'd say it's worth it. We enjoyed our dishes and service was great."

Took us a bit of time to find the place from the parking lot because there's no "big sign" on the building that you can easily see. Walking in, it gave immediate "home-y" vibes and they were very welcoming. I love small family owned businesses because you know you get to eat mom and pop recipes that are past down through generations. We ordered three items, 1 app, 2 entrees and they were all really good. - Chicken Satay Skewers (8/10) : served with 6 skewers, peanut sauce and a vinegretre cucumber small dish to balance everything out. Skewers were juicy, perfectly slides off the stick, and loved it with the sauce. - Thai boat noodles (9/10): my godddd, this was one of the better boat noodles I've had. Generous about of meat, which I appreciate because there are places that tend to be skimpy. Also, the brisket in the bowl was so tender, you can split the meat with your chopstick, amazing. The depth of flavor it had was perfect. The owners mentioned they're trying to re-add this into the menu since they were trying to perfect the dish, I would be so happy if they did. Only thing I recommend is to offer some additional bean sprouts and maybe some basil on the side. Everything else should remain the same. Tom yum soup (7/10): the soup was just like any other, however this place does have one leg up compared to others because the depth of flavor they have in their food. For the cost and the portion, I would recommend offering plain rice or noodles at no additional cost. The soup was good, but not enough as an "entree." Overall, I would return to try out the boat noodle soup again to check the consistency and try out a few other dishes on the menu."

We got a few different specialty drinks and a mimosa, cuz it's five o'clock somewhere... and i can wholeheartedly say they were "not too sweet" (iykyk) and delicious. ...my kiddo ordered the blueberry and lemon hotcakes and I got the verde chilaquiles... both dishes were obvie made to order, complex and balanced in flavor, and honestly, the best new brekkie dishes we've had in a looooooong time...and just like every good Asian mom in the game, they bring you fresh cut fruit (and Ferrero Rocher chocolates) at the end of your meal...
