"This place is quite good and the prices are not bad either. Show me the MOOYAH!Speaking of which, we tried the Mooyah, which is their cheeseburger with fresh baked potato bun and their Best Quesonario, a spicy jalapeño burger, and added pepper jack cheese for an extra fee since this burger did not come with cheese. I don't eat spicy, but I actually preferred the Best Quesonario over the MOOYAH burger. The MOOYAH burger had way too much sauce. I did like that the 1/4 lb patties came straight off the grill and were very juicy and high quality. Their personal size fries were really big! Surprisingly, I liked the French fries even though they didn't look that appealing lol. The fries still have their skins, and are thicker cut. I preferred the SWEET POTATO FRIES. In N Out is still my favorite, but this place is a slightly more loaded version. I look forward to trying their ice cream shakes, which come in 8 flavors! Yum. Happy eating!"

We love that they try to keep the matcha true to its taste and not overly sweeten their drinks or desserts. Love it here."

"I tried Honeymee for the first time and got the Honeymee soft serve with matcha and strawberry. Let me just say--it was absolutely worth it! The matcha on top tasted incredibly fresh and creamy, and the addition of honey was a total game changer. I've never had honey with soft serve before, and it added such a nice sweetness that really elevated the dessert.The soft serve itself was silky, smooth, and packed with flavor. We added strawberry at the bottom, and I loved that it included actual chunks of fresh strawberry--it was such a nice touch.I will say the portion is on the smaller side for the price (about $7-$8), but the quality is outstanding, so it feels worth it for a treat. The only downside is the location--it's in a very busy plaza, so parking might be tricky.Overall, Honeymee is a great spot to stop by if you're craving a high-quality dessert. I'll definitely be back!"

"I just wanted to leave a review for this specific Baskin-Robbin's location. I've been to a couple of other locations in other cities. This one by far has the best service ever and always has so many options to choose from. This one is not the closest to me, but now is my go to spot. I just recently went again on 4/1/24 - with my husband, 2 toddlers, baby, and the grandparents and for a Monday night it was actually pretty busy there was customers before us and line after us.The two employees working that night were Mitzi and Sebastian - their service is the reason for my review it was EXCEPTIONAL. They were very efficient, friendly and helpful! They made us return here because of their service and the dessert of course!I told my husband "I'm amazed with these employees, since most places nowadays provide such poor customer service and bad experiences".I definitely recommend this particular spot for your ice cream, shakes, sundaes or ice cream cakes (I've tried them all). The excellent service is a big plus! To the owner of this place I genuinely hope you give these employees (Mitzi and Sebastian) an award or raise for providing quality service - just my opinion!"

"My aunt showed me this ice cream store. This place was not just incredible. Everyone was extremely nice. Every single darn flavor was beyond fantastic. I came here on Wednesday night and ended up with a two scoop of Jasmine and saffron Rose with pistachio. Fatima helped us this day and got me to try everything. She was so sweet. "Sugar 'n Spice is a must stop at balboa island, especially if you're into frozen chocolate bananas, hot cocoa, or ice cream! The atmosphere is set up just like an old school stand where you have a window, order, and eat while you're walking or one of the near by benches. The service was fast, the ladies will dip your frozen banana in chocolate, and add any topping you would like. What I love is the amount of topping you will get, we ordered it with peanut butter clusters and it filled up on the banana and almost filled up the whole tray! Hot cocoa is also a must try, I personally like the hot cocoa over the frozen banana. With the whipped cream on top, it's the best hot cocoa ever!"

Their line is set up like a Disneyland ride queue, but since we went mid-day on a weekday, we didn't have to wait long.The variety of flavors is impressive, and the service was excellent. We both ordered the smallest scoop, but it was so generous that we probably could have shared one. However, since we're not big on sharing, we each got our own small scoop. I happily finished mine, but my husband had to take the rest of his home. It didn't last long--he finished it the next day, and yes, it tasted just as delicious as it did the day before.One downside is that there's no indoor seating, only outdoor seating. On a busy day, it would likely be very difficult to find a spot to sit. We were lucky there was plenty of clean seating available outside when we visited. We plan to return as often as our waistbands will allow!"

I ordered less sweet but still pretty sweet, so keep that in mind if you don't like super sweet drinks. The matcha was smooth and creamy, so it was a nice balance. What I don't like is how small it is and there really isn't a place to enjoy it besides outside. They have two small benches outside and thats it. However, staff is very nice and knowledgable. And they allow you to sample as much as you like. I love Salt & Straw's unique flavor options. They just have one of the best. Besides their original flavors they also offer seasonal flavors as well. My favorite original ones include their Sea Salt with Caramel Drizzle one and the Chocolate Gooey Brownie. But honestly all their flavors are pretty good. Even their plain vanilla. I just love how creamy their ice cream is. Can't wait to be back."

You are able to ask for a drink refill which is also great, as other locations that I have been to have a self serve fountain drink area.We ordered:1. The Shack Stack is scrumptious and the beef patty had a little char and crisp. The cheese in the portobello mushroom oozes out when you take a bite and all of the goodness just melts in your mouth. The crinkle fries have the perfect crisp and the nuggets as well. They are a little on the salty side for me but I can see why people would like their chicken sandwiches. The chicken is tender on the inside. They were a little tight on the ranch sauce for the chicken. The container was only filled half way and there was an additional $0.50 charge for another one.The bathrooms were clean which was a plus and I just love the fact that they do have bathrooms available for their patrons."
