"I love poke and this TG hits the spot!! I like their menu options and specifically for the CYOB in which you can choose from the 3oz, 4oz or 6oz bowls ranging from cost of $10.50 to $16.40. To cost-save on eating but still provided with a great taste - I typically go for the Kids (3oz) bowl @ $10.50 - a perfect portion for me! I also do LOVE their Poke Nachos @ $10.50. This is the place to get it! Their tortilla chips are thick and generally holds most of the crunch even after 1/2 hour - 1 hour of not eating it immediately. It reminds me of the poke nachos from Poke to the Moon (closed earlier this year). I typically order online for pick-up because I get to control the customizations to my liking. Under Special Requests - they allow you to choose Light Sauced (Mixed), Extra Sauce (Mixed) or Separate Base/Fish and they allow you to select a sauce if you want it to drizzle over your bowl. I love sauces so I take advantage when I can.For their rewards program, for every visit you make you earn 1 point. When you get to 10 points you get 10% off the entire sale or 20% of entire sale when you collect 20 points. Sometimes they'll email out discounts - just gotta keep an eye out for those. So worth using. Oh check in on Yelp app and you do get a free soda can drink.Great location in Costa Mesa on Bristol. Parking can be a bit tough to find if you go during their busy rush times and weekend. If you're a poke lover you gotta try Tiger Plate!"

"My wife and I went in for lunch with minimal expectations and we were both pleasantly surprised by our experience. The quantity of food was amazing and the quality was even more impressive. The service was "acceptable". The cashier was friendly, but seemed mostly disinterested in doing anything but the minimum. Our cashier brought us our order in To Go containers, even though it was obvious we were eating there. This location seems like they expect customers to take their orders to go. Our order of Chicken Katsu had the perfect amount of golden panko breading on it and was quite plentiful. We found the Mac Salad reminded us of the Mac Salad we've enjoyed in Maui on previous trips. The Shrimp and Fish basket was very fresh and we ate most of that while in the restaurant. We took the rest of the extremely large portion of chicken home and ate 2 more meals off of it. It reheated in the air fryer very nicely."

"Wow! I was so impressed with this joint. We were surprised to see that Matcha was inside the same location which was awesome cause we got dinner and dessert in one go! We ordered a large poke bowl with salmon, spicy salmon, spicy tuna, and regular tuna. And all the toppings. We also got a medium a bowl with all shrimp which was delicious. All in all the portions are very great and the ingredients are super fresh! We kept the sauces pretty simple, ponzu, volcano, and eel sauce on the side. Overall it was a 10/10. The best plate to order is the Hawaiian BBQ Mix, which comes with short ribs, beef & chicken, along with rice and mac salad. This plate is huge and definitely shareable. You'll probably even have some left overs. These meals go best with one of the Hawaiian Sun drinks. They have a few really good flavors available; my favorite being the Strawberry Guava Nectar. And prices are totally fair for the portions you get. This isn't even the closest Hawaiian BBQ spot to me, but it's my go to for the craving."

The bulgogi was a little chewy and the mac salad was a little boring, but everything else was great. (Add some soy sauce to the mac to improve it!) It was really expensive - over $20. By the way the price listed on Yelp was incorrect, listed $2 higher. Brandon inflation caused many restaurants to go bankrupt, people just can't afford to eat out so come here for $18 you get so much food to last 2 days ! So why is this not 5 stars? The sauces were so sweet I thought I poured syrup on my plate, I had to squeeze lemon then it was still not good enough I poured sone pink Chinese vinegar it finally worked. If the manager reads this here is my recommendation, your sauce is not really bbq it's a sweet teriyaki, please give us 1 real BBQ sauce, the teriyaki sauce should be less sweet then I'll be here more often. Most Americans have sweet tooth n unfortunately too many have diabetes so if you can make it less sweet your restaurant will attract more customers."
