"Ok In n Out. Nothing I mean NOTHING beats In n out for the amount of yums per dollar. For less than 10 bucks I get the freshest most filling burger and fries (yeah its not the best) but when its fresh its still tasty with some spread and ketchup. My go to order is: double double mustard fried with grilled onions and a whole raw onion with extra lettuce with light well fries. The service is friendly and quick despite the onslaught of students. The ambiance can be loud and hectic but it makes it fun in my opinion. This location is one of my favorites out of the 10 in n outs I been throughout California and if you haven't tried in n out. You are missing out on a cheap quick reliable and tasty meal."
"I hate to give away how good this place is but have to share...burgers are solid! Even a smidge better than In N Out. Only if they had the chili peppers...the fries are crispy and on the thicker side, a mile better than In N Out. You have to order the scoop of chili on the side and the dip the fries. Ranch dressing is delicious too!The space is clean and the service is quick and friendly. Even the bathroom was nice and clean! Drive through is convenient and well managed. I prefer to dine there and eat it fresh! But the chili doesn't travel well so try to dine in if you order that."

"Varsity Burgers in Anaheim is a fantastic spot, especially for those wanting a great meal without paying the typical "theme park tax." Located just a short distance from Disneyland, it's an ideal place to eat before or after visiting the park. I ordered a large order of chili fries and a hot pastrami sandwich, and both were impressive. The chili fries were generously topped and delicious, perfect for sharing or enjoying solo. The hot pastrami sandwich was the highlight for me, piled high with tender, flavorful meat that made each bite satisfying. The portions are massive and definitely worth the money. It's a great choice if you're looking for hearty, quality food at a reasonable price outside the theme park.I recommend the breakfast burritos, they are massive and well worth the money. Also the service is impeccable. They get your order out QUICKLY."
"Came here after Knotts berry farms for a quick lunch. Service is amazing. Clean restaurant overall. Order at the register. We got Soup dumplings, chicken wonton with chili sauce, chicken chow mein and string beans. String beans were our fave! The chicken wontons had a weird consistency. Chow mein was simple and no veggies- a bit saucy but not terrible."
"Nothing better for a hangover than a greasy breakfast burrito - with chorizo - from The Trough! Been my go to for many years here in south OC! God bless DoorDash (have never actually been in the physical restaurant before)"
"YES! Stop and eat here! I've driven past Ted's Place at lease 100 times. Finally stopped in the drive thru for a breakfast burrito. Graciella took my order and told me about how amazing their entire menu was. She recommended I try their Mediterranean salad. She was so convincing, I ordered it to go and planned to have it for lunch. WOW. Not only was the breakfast burrito the best I've had since I can remember, these salads are so delicious and absolutely enormous! Brought wifey back today and we ate on the patio. Graciella is here again and she helped us choose our orders. - she's been here 25 years! The quality of food here is FAR superior to what I expected from a small "mom and pop" drive thru. The portions are MASSIVE. I bet you can't finish a whole salad in one sitting! We'll be back until we can try everything on this delicious menu. Can't wait to try the strawberry stuffed french toast!"
"Clean, clean, and I mean Clean. That is what I like. Theemployees take pride in working at this location. They place flowers on the tables, will come aroundand clean up your used items, or they will refill yourdrinks for you. The service is better than a lot of restaurants in the area. They upgraded the take out drive through. This is a showcase location for Chick-fil-A. The bathroom are too small for how many people go to this restaurant. The high school kids who frequent the place can get too rowdy for some of who like it quiet, however, this is a great place for lunch."
"This specific location is hard to get in & out during the lunch rush. The parking by the door is small and a one way, although there is more parking all around, but it's shared by all the other businesses on that side of the street. It's at the corner of Bristol & MacArthur, but the drive-thru line can start at the street on MacArthur. When that happens, it will be impossible for you to get around the line. I always order on the app and pay ahead so the food is ready by the time I walk in. You do need to click in the app that you have arrived, so they prepare your meal, but that only takes a few minutes. The Chick-fil-A Deluxe Sandwich is my absolute favorite item! Amazingly flavorful as is, but their house sauce, and Polynesian sauce are really good to add. This is still my favorite chicken sandwich. Love the app rewards points too!"
"I like going to this location when we pick up pizza vs. the Mission Viejo Shoppes location for its easy access and availability of parking near the entrance. Pro Tip: Order ahead of time through their app to avoid the long lines during dinner time and to earn Flames (points) towards free things such as drinks, desserts, cheesy bread, and pizza. I've experienced times when this location isn't accepting online orders for delivery or even pick up, but this when you have to decide to either stand in line or go to another location. THE FOODS | Pizza (pre-selected toppings, build your own), cheesy breads, salads, desserts, and flavored drinks. Ingredients are fresh and abundant for a fixed price, which encourages me to really pile on the toppings. I ordered... - Build Your Own (11 inch) | I get every type of cheese and vegetable offered because life led me here and I will take advantage of the opportunity #cheeseplease. I pare down the meats to just a few, and it's usually pepperoni and sausage. After selecting all the toppings, they throw it into a gas fired oven for a few minutes and out comes a perfect (to me) pizza. - Pesto Garlic Cheesy Bread | The melted mozzarella cheese and pesto are my happy place. Dip it in the marinara sauce it comes with and it's basically another pizza. THE BLAZE PIZZA FEELS | Cafeteria vibes where you get to pick out ingredients for your pizza. Long lines are the norm, but there is a big dining hall area, so no need to worry about finding a seat. THE PARKING SITUATION | Parking is plentiful and free."
"Anthony provided excellent customer service....something that is hard to come by nowadays. He was pleasant and made sure my order was correct when I picked it up. I will definitely come back."
"Was in the area and decided to grab a bite. Went inside and was shocked how busy it was. I was about 10th in line, three cashiers it took just two minutes, maybe. Fast, efficient and good.It took a few minutes for my food, but I expected that, when I picked up my order, he apologize for the wait it was fresh delicious as always."
"It's been a while since I dined here and appreciate that they constantly innovate their menu. This time, I ordered the teriyaki chicken fries. It was a large portion with lots of flavor and delicious sauce. The table has teriyaki, sriracha, soy sauce, chili paste, and a vinegar based hot sauce, if you fancy. The cashier is shy, yet sweet. I love the oldies music too! That's such a nice touch to my experience!"

Quality you can taste! In-N-Out keeps everything consistent: limited menu items, stellar ingredients, retro interiors, and reasonable prices. They are across the street from UCI and a short walk away from the company's headquarters. I think they get frequent visits from corporate, this location feels like it's being held to a higher standard. That being said, they're always swarmed with college students at all hours of the day. But the staff here run a tight ship, fulfilling orders as fast as they can. My go-to is always the Double-Double. You get two 2-oz ground chuck patties that are pretty thin honestly, but still juicy. Order a 3x3 or 4x4 for more protein. You also get two slices of American cheese specially formulated with a lower fat content to achieve that perfect melt. Never had any issues with their tomato slices or hand torn lettuce. Onions are also excellent, no matter if it's sliced, chopped, raw or grilled! Ingredients are all stacked together between two toasted sponge dough buns. What else is consistent? The fries limp and wilt after 3 minutes! They don't double fry, so you have to eat it as soon as you get it. Or else the texture gets mushy by the time you arrive home. Order it "light well" or "well done" for a crispier consistency, it's slightly better. Besides that, this is the best fast food money can buy!

This is a fast food joint and it lives up to the expectations. $3.75 for a double cheeseburger in this day and age is amazing and it's done so well. I had a grilled chicken burger that by the end of the burger, the bun was super soggy. The fries are fried pretty well done. The strawberry shake was pretty artificial tasting, like how you would expect a shake like this to taste. Service is nice. Losing stars because this location could be kept cleaner. I came here just a little after they opened and the floors already had remnants of past meals. The bathroom could just use the smallest of upgrades to just feel cleaner like nicer hardware in the sink and a not overly old air freshener if you are going to bother with that.

4.5 today.....because no Heinz Ketchup. I hate to say it but when you have excellent food and then you have cheap to go catch up it just ruins it. Other than that, a wonderful time as usual. Good food, other than the condiment... great service in the drive-through. Fast. Efficient. Takes Apple Pay. Thanks. Wish you had Heinz ketchup.... I swear you used to! I swear you had the big dip, Heinz ketchup packets.... I swear!

It was so good we are thinking of going twice in two days. This place had great food and the prices were reasonable. The favorite were the soup dumplings, they are a must have. Do mix the vinegar, chili oil and soy for the dumplings. The teas were also great and worth getting. The cashier was very sweet and provided us information on the food. It had a small dining area and we were alone. It was clean and bright. The only concern for some people is that you are expected to bus your table. So be aware and clean up after yourself. This reduces costs and allows restaurants to keep prices reasonable. Hope you enjoy as much as we did.

The breakfast burritos are fantastic. Just be careful ordering online, this morning was the second time I ordered breakfast burritos with bacon and avocado and didn't get any bacon. And I definitely got charged for it.

Here's a story about the bump up in my rating for Ted's Place. My close friend had been telling me about how her husband liked Ted's Place. He wasn't eating the fish and chips I chose in a previous dine-in experience. He was happy eating other selections on their menu. Since word-of-mouth can be a convenient way to figure out where to go for a meal, I felt Ted's deserved another try. What I tried and really liked was their gyro plate. The plate included a lot of french fries and a big salad. When the fries taste really good, I sometimes eat so much of them that the entree is barely touched. I powered through, eating some of the gyro, and the effort was definitely worth it. The gyro and the sauce provided were a delicious dinner and I got a to-go box at the end of dinner. I purchased a mint tea, which was piping hot and once cooled down, felt like a nice complement to the meal. Employees here are all nice. The booths and tables are comfortable and clean. After eating here again, it makes a lot of sense that Ted's Place has been in Laguna Niguel for a long time.

Exceptional customer service from the manager Joshua and Eric the Lead. My mother and I went in for breakfast cutting close to the 10:30 mark and boy their service was amazing. Reminds me of when the service they provided out in Texas!! We got breakfast sandwiches shaped like hearts and the place was spotless. They thrive on respect and humility here I'll be coming back.

"Delicious burgers, perfectly crisped fries, and great service. I like to get the cheeseburger special, it's literally made to perfection!"
""What do you think of In-N-Out Burger?" asked Yelp.Me: Love at first bite! This location, especially the drive-thru, is always crowded! It's way faster to order inside and easy to find parking in the shopping lot. My cheeseburger with grilled onions, extra tomatoes and lettuce was delicious as usual. Perfectly toasted bun and crispy fries. Until we meet again ~"
"Raising Cane's haters, please stand up?.. and leave the building.I'm a die hard Raising Cane's fan. This fast food joint has quickly become my number one spot for a comfort meal. Specifically after hosting a large event or doing too much socializing.I love that every Raising Cane's is consistently quick and easy with an efficient drive-through, open until 3am, and their food is absolutely delicious. Their menu may be simple, but they serve everything you could ever need. I always get their largest chicken combo - I like to save three chicken strips for future Hayley. Let me break it down for you: their garlic toast is 10/10, sweet tea is 10/10, and sauce is 10/10. I'm also one of 20 people in this world who absolutely love cole-slaw and Raising Cane's serves up the best. This spot consistently delivers and you would be a fool not to jump on the train."
"The service was amazing - the manager (or asst mgr) who offered me a sample of the shake gets it, it's all about customer service and he nailed it. Hope these guys thrive cuz they deserve to."
"Let's hash it out!A nice mom n pop shop with decent amount of parking. My go-to is the now $7 Breakfast Burrito. It comes with ham, sausage, eggs, and hash browns. I order extra crispy hash browns with (green) sauce on the side. I also like that the burrito is not too oily.I have yet to try their milkshakesss! There's seating inside and outside and card is accepted"
"Really tasty Mexican food! Always Delicious! Staff is great as well! Always fast and courteous!"
"Have you ever been to Miguel's Jr.? I know a lot of my Yelp friends have. Been coming here for many years the first location was the Corona. Far drive but worth it, then boom boom boom they started expanding and opened them up all over Orange County. The excitement when that happened was real lol. Always get the El potato it comes with cheese and shredded beef which is amazing. The guac and chip's delicious, love how the chips are fresh. Ordered chicken tamales and a bean rice and cheese burrito. Loved it all, it was busy that day and lots of people in the drive through. I recommend this location it is clean, and the workers were really friendly and nice, the tables were not clean but it's ok. The food and service more than make up for it. If you haven't tried their food I highly recommend that you do just once. The El Potato burrito to me is the best.Have a beautiful day, share kindness to everyone Aloha"
"I notice that when I order online for this location, I typically have to wait longer than the pick up time stated but maybe I'm getting unlucky. Super solid location with a lot of parking. They have inside and outside seating. The drive thru goes by pretty fast. I love getting their fries and milkshakes. I like to get strawberry shake with chocolate syrup and it tastes like strawberries dipped in chocolate"
"I just had their street taco with Carne Asada which cost me over $4.75 and when I delivered to my table, it was wrapped in aluminum foil that when picked up I questioned if there's anything inside, it was so small. It comes on a soft corn tortilla about the size of a silver dollar with four small chunks of beef, similar to what like you would get an a can of Campbell's beef vegetable soup. And that's about all that's on there so just beware when you order it and just don't walk up and order a taco or else you'll get that you have to be very specific as they have Several to pick from. Also, they are very busy so it might take 20 minutes to get your food if you walk in. I did not complain while I was there as my wife and I were laughing so hard when I opened it that it was worth that amount in belly laughs ! They do have good burritos and the taquitos that are reasonably priced."
"Oh my gosh, this place is AMAZING!!!!!!The BBQ chicken, the teriyaki chicken, the orange chicken, the almond chicken... and the sides?!? Whoa. Yes. Yes all night long and leftovers."
"I am glad I finally tried this place. The food was good and a big portion. I love the bentos. The food had a lot of flavor and the bento has a little of everything. The staff were really nice and I will be returning!!"
"I was *so* close to giving 5 stars to this Chick-fil-A, an unprecedented maneuver from yours truly especially considering how rigid my standards may be perceived from the outside looking in, but such stringency on a few aspects was grounds enough to warrant a one star deduction.I had two rewards on my account: One from the LA Angels baseball promo, and the other from the Code Moo promo. For as long as I've been a customer of Chick-fil-A, I didn't even know multiple rewards could be redeemed in one transaction until the cashier, Alejandro, pointed it out to me, and it would have taken a special kind of attentiveness to even notice in the first place. This Chick-fil-A is in Costa Mesa on the southwest corner of Gisler and Harbor. It's literally right off the 405 that you can hop off and on without having to stray too far from the freeway. Even if you want fast food not named Chick-fil-A, there's also In N Out, Raising Cane's, McDonald's, and even El Pollo Loco in the vicinity. Also IHOP, Sonic Drive-In, and a Dave's Hot Chicken a little further south. There is plenty of parking around Chick-fil-A, and there's even a clearly defined drive-thru that shouldn't be interruptive to the flow of traffic around the lot. I parked in between Chick-fil-A and Seiwa Market before going inside to claim my free chicken sandwich courtesy of Angels baseball. It took a couple of minutes before Alejandro was ready to take my order. I had my phone out ready to redeem my sando reward, but he noticed I also had the Code Moo reward of a free brownie. He asked if I'd like to redeem both, which had surprised me because I thought only one reward could have been redeemed at a time. Nope, turns out I could redeem both in one transaction, so I figured why not?!I was originally planning to redeem the chicken sandwich reward that day and save the Code Moo reward for later, so I was totally unprepared for this. I thought I would have had to scan two different QR codes to redeem both rewards, but nope, one QR code sufficed, and Alejandro made sure both rewards would be accounted for on this visit. His attentiveness really impressed me because I'm not sure how many other cashiers would have even noticed I had multiple rewards on my phone! However, he faltered when I asked him about the sauce that resembles Chick-fil-A sauce, but comes in regular sauce packets. He pointed towards the list of sauces on top of the drink dispenser, but I immediately knew those were the sauces that traditionally come in the rectangular tubs. I had to explain again, and then he got my drift of Honey Roasted BBQ. That was really his only blemish at ringing me up.After getting my receipt, I noticed that my name didn't appear on it, so I almost thought the QR code didn't get scanned and that my name wouldn't be called. It only took a couple of minutes before I heard my name for takeout. During those couple of minutes, I saw a community board that advertised the Code Moo game, and on the bottom were the words "Rocky Road". I legit thought it meant Rocky Road ice cream, but when I asked an employee about it, he said it was in reference to a movie (or moo-vie) that can be viewed in the app. And here I was, thinking that all customers would be treated to some Rocky Road Ice Cream during this SoCal heat wave lol. After getting my takeout bag, I momentarily left the restaurant. I say momentarily because I realized I had forgotten to ask for a water cup! I asked that same employee from the previous paragraph, and he said I could go back to the counter to ask for one. I was hoping he'd actually go fetch one for me, but no biggie. I just asked another employee at the counter for a water cup, which was quite large in size compared to other water cups at other locations. The brownie was alright. Nothing too special about it. However, I think they had actually given me the Spicy Chicken Sandwich instead! Usually, the complimentary sando is the original, so this was a real nice change for once! I would have enjoyed it much more had the Honey Roasted BBQ sauce packets had corrugated rather than straight edges. Without a pair of scissors, I had no choice but to eat the sando as is; I did not want to go back inside to ask for a school supply lol.The spicy sandwich was much better than the original, though I've definitely had my fair share of the original. However, it would have been even better had I been able to open either of the Honey Roasted BBQ packets. This Chick-fil-A has been advertising Code Moo much harder than my usual location in Lakewood. I can tell because the wall is adorned with plenty of cute cow decor, including the characters from the Rocky Road movie in the form of small, but cute figurines. They're really doing everything they can to extinguish Circus Burger lol.Overall, a good solid Chick-fil-A to go to, especially on a road trip up or down the 405. If I lived in Costa Mesa, this would almost certainly be my go to for chicken sandwiches!"
"One of the better CFAs in Orange County. Food is delicious as always. What separates this location is its clearness and friendly employees. You can tell this operator really cares about the customer experience."
"I really enjoy this particular In-N-Out location because they are incredibly fast, and their customer service is excellent. Despite being consistently busy, it never feels overwhelmingly crowded, and I appreciate how efficiently they manage their drive-thru. One of my absolute favorites on the menu is their Animal Style fries. I can't resist ordering them whenever I have the chance. What makes the experience even better is that the wait time here is never too long, making it a go-to spot for a quick and satisfying meal."
"Love that chicken from Popeye's! For quick, delicious and crispy fried chicken, this is the place! It's consistently crunchy and perfectly seasoned. Gotta love the drive-thru too! You also gotta get an apple pie for dessert. It's the best packaged fried apple pie from any fast food chain. It's also always piping hot, so just be careful if it was just served."
"Although this place is fast food and you order at the counter, I was impressed by the service of the two people at the counter who came out and checked on me and even placed an extra order for me to go. Food is great also."
"Love this halal chicken spot! Used to track them down in their food truck but now they have this spot in Costa Mesa and I try to go anytime I'm in the area!Hands down the best fried chicken place I've ever had. There's so much competition but I love that Bred uses generous portions and amazing spices and flavor. Their banana pudding is *chefs kiss*They are always super friendly as well and I love their customer service. My family also tried their fried turkey during thanksgiving and it was such a surprise! We loved it with their gravy. Decent price too."
"Great guys who love their jobs with smiles all around. Great food and music! This is our go to place for lunch."
"Service is kind and fast! The chicken pollo bowl and family meals are delicious and hearty. I love their salsas, esp the avocado one! Chicken is so tender and juicy!"
"Really nice location. Drive through and ample parking lot. Friendly and accommodating staff. We placed a large order to go. There were only 2 workers but they were friendly and efficient. No food pics because we were sooo hungry. WARNING - to go orders will make your car smell great for days. Tommy's is the best!!!Ok, bye."
"Oh my... it has been a very long time since I did YELP, and yet we have come to Castaneda's Mexican Food very often. Either we go thru the drive up window, or the family takes up several tables inside. The lovely missus orders the favorite #5 Taco and Enchilada Combo, which includes lots of Castaneda's flavorful Refried Beans and a heap of the Rosy colored Mexican rice. This combo is a good one, but she did say the enchilada needs more of the cheese filling. She asked for a box to take home what she could not finish. I think the Salsa Bar is the best way to get your vegies when you order Menudo. This was a special good choice as it came in a large bowl with 4 corn tortillas and the seasoning sprinkles and onions for a deluxe presentation. I loved that reddish thick broth... it was the perfect setting for delightful chunky pieces of several sections of the almighty tripe and porky skin and knuckle bone...I found one and was happy there were not more. The Menudo was a winner, and I would definitely do it again. The trip to Castaneda's was fillingly good, and as I usually do, I ordered 2x Bean and Cheese big burritos to take home."
"Fast service, simple but good and inexpensive food at a simple location. This location is different than the rest because it does not have inside seating or ordering. The order and pick up window is outside but there is an overhand so if it's raining, you won't get totally wet waiting. There are 3 tables outside in the corner of the parking lot so if the weather isn't good, you'll have to take it and eat it somewhere else. Honestly, In N Out is a perfect, take out fast food spot so not having an inside area is no problem. The staff here is focused yet friendly and they are always working hard because there is always cars in the drive through line when I've been there. Haven't been to In N Out before? Get the basics but look up Animal Style and Protein Style and try your hamburger or fries these styles. You can also get your fries fried more, just ask for fry light well, well, or extra well for more crispy fries!!"
"Is it just my memory? I remember them doing much better. Contents: Egg, cheese, and hash browns. Great. But....I know I'll get hammered for disrespecting hash browns, but they never taste like a tater. Crispy is a good thing, but starchy is not. Then the eggs. Look at that thin burnt wafer they make. I think they'd call that scrambled egg? Not in my kitchen And do you see any cheese? I asked for French fries on the side instead of tater slivers. Good FFs!Guess it's my memory. I remember many years ago having a huge cheesy, soft egg burrito. Am I the only one?"
