With plenty of good reviews and savory looking photos I decided to take my girlfriend here and give the place a shot.Located in the far corner of the parking lot (on Anaheim Blvd) at Anaheim Marketplace, it wasn't hard to spot the lit up "Don Churros" signage in the very spacious location. We pulled straight up to the place, parked along the cone barrier, and proceeded to wait in line.The line moved quickly to place our orders. We ended up ordering the Churros w/ Ice Cream. Vanilla bean was our ice cream of choice with a condensed milk drizzle. It took maybe 10-15 minutes to receive our order, but that's expected because it's made-to-order!How was it?- Churros w/ Ice Cream: Absolutely delicious. (5) 5" churros with a scoop of ice cream and your choice of drizzle. You can't go wrong with this combo. The churros were perfect -- crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The warm churros with the cold ice cream was a match made in heaven.Service was good, we briefly chatted with the person taking our order.There's small benches that you can sit on to enjoy your food.The parking lot is huge, and not a problem if you don't mind walking a little (or a lot).You definitely need to try this place!"

"If I could give this place 6 stars, I would. My absolute favorite Arab bakery in the OC! They have the best baked goods, pastries, and flatbreads that give you a taste of the Middle East and teleport you as if you were "back home."Our go-to's are the manaeesh with zaatar, egg/cheese, and lahme (minced meat). They come with a side of pickles and olives for the perfect touch. And you can't forget the tea with fresh mint leaves to wash it all down. The owner is extremely friendly and knows his regular's very well. It's usually busy, but time's I have gone we are eating within 15 minutes of ordering. The walls are painted with pictures encompassing the Middle Eastern culture and people, and truly make you feel you are in another world. It is a mainstay for Arabs all throughout OC, and a must try if ever in Anaheim's "little Arabia" on Brookhurst St."

I don't have much to say about the service since I ordered on the self order machine, but the staff seemed really nice and helpful. Atmosphere - Clean and modern, with a dark blue accent wall, marble tables, faux flower decor, and gray-ish floors. A few gold and neon elements sprinkled here and there. Adequate amount of seating, I came at a busy time but there were open chairs and counter stools. Menu - Pure teas, fruit teas, milk teas, coffee, and "breezes". All the usual ice, sugar, and milk adjustments. Typical toppings and foam teas as well. Limited amount of desserts available. Drinks - Bursting Dragon Fruit is a seasonal offering. It's mildly sweet with fresh fruit bits and seeds at the bottom of the cup. A hint of tang from the lemon they added and are some floral notes as well from the four seasons spring oolong. The breezes are pretty much blended drinks or smoothies. Mango Breeze comes with cheese foam, which is slightly salty and balances out some of the sweetness. Strawberry Breeze is creamy since half of the cup is basically milk. It also comes with lychee jelly but they have no problems substituting it if you prefer another topping. Both were still pretty sweet despite requesting less sweetness. The boba had a nice chewy consistency. Overall - Aesthetically pleasing place with eye-catching drinks to match!"

The matcha on top tasted incredibly fresh and creamy, and the addition of honey was a total game changer. I've never had honey with soft serve before, and it added such a nice sweetness that really elevated the dessert.The soft serve itself was silky, smooth, and packed with flavor. We added strawberry at the bottom, and I loved that it included actual chunks of fresh strawberry--it was such a nice touch.I will say the portion is on the smaller side for the price (about $7-$8), but the quality is outstanding, so it feels worth it for a treat. The only downside is the location--it's in a very busy plaza, so parking might be tricky.Overall, Honeymee is a great spot to stop by if you're craving a high-quality dessert. This one by far has the best service ever and always has so many options to choose from. This one is not the closest to me, but now is my go to spot. I just recently went again on 4/1/24 - with my husband, 2 toddlers, baby, and the grandparents and for a Monday night it was actually pretty busy there was customers before us and line after us.The two employees working that night were Mitzi and Sebastian - their service is the reason for my review it was EXCEPTIONAL. They were very efficient, friendly and helpful! They made us return here because of their service and the dessert of course!I told my husband "I'm amazed with these employees, since most places nowadays provide such poor customer service and bad experiences".I definitely recommend this particular spot for your ice cream, shakes, sundaes or ice cream cakes (I've tried them all). The excellent service is a big plus! To the owner of this place I genuinely hope you give these employees (Mitzi and Sebastian) an award or raise for providing quality service - just my opinion!"

The atmosphere is set up just like an old school stand where you have a window, order, and eat while you're walking or one of the near by benches. The service was fast, the ladies will dip your frozen banana in chocolate, and add any topping you would like. What I love is the amount of topping you will get, we ordered it with peanut butter clusters and it filled up on the banana and almost filled up the whole tray! Hot cocoa is also a must try, I personally like the hot cocoa over the frozen banana. With the whipped cream on top, it's the best hot cocoa ever!"

I came across this place from the restaurant next door, because they had a flyer showing this location sells the viral Dubai chocolate bar!! I have been so tempted to buy these online on Etsy for the last few weeks, but I was determined to try and find them more locally and now I have. Delicious!!! It is everything they're talking about online and even better in person. Exceeded my expectations with how delicious and fun to eat these bars are. They're $10/bar (a little smaller than a crunch bar) here. It's still a good deal compared to what I saw online. Loved everything I tried!! If you've got a sweet tooth like me, you'll love this place too. So many sweet treats to enjoy. Especially loved their chocolate dipped strawberries and their Nutella crepe. Ice cream is more icy, than creamy, but a few delicious varieties to try if you're into the ice cream more than their decadent pastry options like the crepe/waffle. Thank you so much again Marina!"

The decor: walls, plastered with millions of defiled one dollar bills, that a person can barely resist taking a sample (but don't!) or the bakery cases full of freshly baked sweet and savory goodies that will most likely turn your brain into mush while you are trying to calm down long enough to choose only one, or submiting to the urge to buy one of everything. But, we truthfully came for lunch, not sweet things.Their menu may sound very common, but once the food started flying out of the kitchen, and quite fast, I might add, we knew we had made an excellent choice coming here. There is nothing ordinary here.The burger was cooked to perfection. Juicy, big, full of quality ingredients, and crowned with a tender brioche bun. The one side my son chose was their homemade, red potato salad that ended up bringing tears of joy to his eyes. His strawberry milkshake was the final straw. Real strawberries, rich ice cream, not overly sweet, and topped with whipped cream and a cherry. Usually a silent eater, he could not contain himself with their praises.And then he tasted his wife's clam chowder. Complete melt down. This is unadulterated, ultra creamy, and loaded with tender clams, potatoes, with a lightly herbed taste. This is my idea of the perfect clam chowder I have searched for over many years.My lunch choice, the grilled cheese sandwich, caught me by surprise. I love grilled cheese, but this one, in all its simplicity, soared to the top of my happy, grilled cheese dreams. Two kinds of cheeses, slices of tomato, sandwiched between two large pieces of sourdough, buttered and coated in parmesan, then grilled to a toasty finish. I could only eat half, but I sure had to resist the urge to become a glutton. I picked a green salad with their balsamic dressing for my side. Should I mention that the potato salad's siren call was unmercifully directed at me as well? I nibbled surreptitiously in between sanctimonious bites of baby greens.Last but not least was the foot long hot dog ordered by my hot dog loving husband. Although spectacular looking, he had regrets. If he had to do it over again, the hamburger would have won his heart. As it was, he was pleased with his award-winning potato salad. And, after sampling the clam chowder, he placed two large orders for chowder to go, knowing that our daughter and granddaughter back home would be the happy recipients of some of it, but not all.Now, the curse of eating inside their tiny eatery, besides having only a few tables, is the fact that those bakery cases are right in front of your nose. It's brutal torture. And our family is not known for self-control in that department. These bakery cases did not display ordinary stuff either. Every item they offered was unique and screamed of homemade goodness. Needless to say, we staggered out of there with a shamefully big bag filled with 4 irresistable baked delicacies, two full containers of chowder, and leftovers, to be split three ways.Bottom line? When in Newport, this is THE SPOT our family will instantly gravitate towards. No argument there!"

"Was searching on Yelp for any new dessert places and came across Maison De Croissant, located inside of H Mart. Turn quickly to the right once you walk in and you'll immediately be greeted by the displays of desserts and baked goods. Wanted to grab a muffin, but the price was a bit hefty at $4-5 per muffin, so I opted for the croffle instead. Each croffle is advertised as freshly made with a variety of flavors that you can choose from. I chose the caramel, which came with cream, caramel drizzle, and a Biscoff cookie on top. The lady helping me immediately turned on the machine after I ordered, which took awhile to warm up. Even though they had some already made on top of the machine, she made fresh ones for me and the customer after me. Wow, I have to say that I really rented the dessert. It was about $5-6, which wasn't bad at all. The outside was crispy but it the inside was chewy and not too sweet. Eating each warm bite alongside the coldness of the cream provided a great contrast. Was a bit sad that the croffle was finished in a few bites. Highly recommend checking this place out if you love desserts, especially waffles and croissants. They also serve drinks and macarons if you want to grab other items!"

There were single seats at the counter area. Hubby had the Machaca burrito. It was huge and was served with rice & beans. I tasted it and it was delicious, the sauce was creamy & cheesy (wet burrito, knife & fork style).I had the French combo with an added side of hash browns. It was great and the butter on top of the French taker was delicious. Omg I couldn't get enough. I usually don't final a big breakfast but that butter was like creamy crack I ate the entire meal. It took me some time but oh boy I enjoyed it!Definitely recommend this spot. If we're ever in the area again we will definitely keep this spot in mind."

The Spinach Salad is just that; spinach. No fancy cranberries, walnuts, cheese etc. Just spinach tossed in a light bacon dressing. Soups are amazing, but don't skip the Feuillette with asparagus.Lastly, save room for a souffle. They have Chocolate and Grand Marnier. Order these when they serve your entree as they take around 20 minutes.They are situated far away from the redevelopment going on at Dana Point Harbor, so don't let that deter you. What I don't like is how small it is and there really isn't a place to enjoy it besides outside. They have two small benches outside and thats it. However, staff is very nice and knowledgable. And they allow you to sample as much as you like. I love Salt & Straw's unique flavor options. They just have one of the best. Besides their original flavors they also offer seasonal flavors as well. My favorite original ones include their Sea Salt with Caramel Drizzle one and the Chocolate Gooey Brownie. But honestly all their flavors are pretty good. Even their plain vanilla. I just love how creamy their ice cream is. Can't wait to be back."

The inside of the restaurant is super cute and pink and while we were going to eat inside, we wanted to watch our show together but otherwise would have stayed.She got us both a mango coconut jelly and when we put our order in, the man behind the counter disappeared to go cut up fresh mango. He was really quick, wrapped up our mason jars and we took these to go. When we got back to hers, I took a bite of fresh mango mixed with the jelly and it was sooo yummy! It was nice and sweet mixed with the coolness & softness of the coconut jelly that tasted like nothing I've ever had before. The best part of it was the mason jar we got to keep at home and I make overnight oats with these cute little pink jar now. Loved this place and I really wish we had one closer in the Bay!
