"Delicious sandwichQuality meatGot this sandwich delivered. Still fresh on arrival Good blend of flavors The side of potato salad is also delicious 4.5/5 overall rating - fantastic sandwich spot!"
"Sugar 'n Spice is a must stop at balboa island, especially if you're into frozen chocolate bananas, hot cocoa, or ice cream! The atmosphere is set up just like an old school stand where you have a window, order, and eat while you're walking or one of the near by benches. The service was fast, the ladies will dip your frozen banana in chocolate, and add any topping you would like. What I love is the amount of topping you will get, we ordered it with peanut butter clusters and it filled up on the banana and almost filled up the whole tray! Hot cocoa is also a must try, I personally like the hot cocoa over the frozen banana. With the whipped cream on top, it's the best hot cocoa ever!"
"I stopped in to the Cheese Shop to grab a bite for lunch. After perusing the menu, I ordered a Caprese Panini (Pesto, Mozzarella, and marianted tomatoes on warm, fresh bread). The sandwich was delicious and really satisfied my hunger :-)Tip: The Cheese Shop is tucked away in a corner of the OC Mix, which contains quite a number of small shops and restaurantsOver and above my sandwich, I tried their salted chocolate chip cookies and found them to be exceptional as well. I won't hesitate to return - highly recommended!"
"I always love Boba Junkie because every drink i've gotten here was so good. I hardly go to this location so this was a bit confusing, they have too many signs to read. I had a stamp card to redeem so I just went straight to the counter. I think the signs they had pretty much just said to order through their kiosk. The other stuff i just ignored because I just didn't think it applied to me. Either way, I got my drink and it was so good as usual."
"Randomly ran into fellow yelper B. N. and his wife who live nearby and they informed me that the address that used to have Kerostena has a new place, Taboon Mediterranean. Apparently Taboon has another location in Long Beach and Los Alamitos. The menu is large with soup, salads, cold appetizers, hot appetizers, wraps, bowls, plates, and dessert. Last Wednesday I had the day off work so figured it was a great time to try it out. They've only been open a few weeks. The employee was extremely friendly and happy to talk about the menu. He let me know they have lunch specials Monday-Friday which pretty much gets you the drink for free. I ordered the "halloumi cheese" wrap with lentil soup. I've never had this cheese before and loved it. It's very dense and doesn't melt. They grill it and wrap it with lettuce, tomato, garlic, and a flavorful sauce. The cheese is semi salty and because of the dense texture it was like eating a chicken wrap. I loved every bite and couldn't believe how good it was. I ordered one to take home for my wife and she loved it. At the end she said "I think they forgot the cheese though, it was just some delicious chicken". Her mind was blown when she found out the entire thing was cheese. The vegan lentil soup was a huge portion and loaded with flavor. It was served with some pita chips which I tossed in for texture. My wife had the fries for her side and it was a HUGE portion. She could only eat half and saved the rest for the next day. Salad was another choice for lunch special.Saturday my wife and I came back to eat there. We both ordered the Kefta kabab plate which is a blend of ground beef and lamb. It's heavy on the lamb flavor so keep that in mind if you don't like lamb. It was served with hummus, house salad, two types of rice, sumac covered red onions, a grilled white onion, grilled tomato, pita bread, garlic sauce, and tahini. HUGE portion. Neither my wife or I could finish which is rare for me. I usually devour everything. Every single thing on our plate was fantastic. Loved the two different types of rice. One was very herbal tasting. Since it was our first time here we ordered way too much food. Besides our gut busting entrees we also shared some of their fried cauliflower and the spinach fatayer which are like empanadas. Both awesome. Please try this place! It's behind Shakey's next door to the bagel place that's currently being repairs from the fire. We need good restaurants around here since so many closed during COVID. This is the perfect place for the plaza and I can't wait to try more items!"
"I greatly enjoyed my experience at High Tide Coffee! This coffee shop was so cute inside with plants, beachy decor, and lots of amazing women employees!! the ladies that work here were so nice and helpful. To drink I got a vanilla lavender latte and my parents both got cold brews. The drinks were all very good. To eat we enjoyed the florentine breakfast burrito and the avo tomato toast. Both the breakfast options were good but a little expensive for what they were. I definitely recommend coming here to enjoy people's company or do some solo work! They have tables both inside and a patio outside."
"Place is legit and smells soooo good when you walk in.I love this place because they have savory crepes which is what I crave for breakfast/lunch - whereas most places only do sweet or dessert crepe which is just basic. BTW Their drinks also really good!It is on the "west" side of downtown and faces Harbor Blvd and just past the alley. It has a little private parking lot and they validate there so check it out. You can also park farther away for free (no validation required) during the day."
"Came in the morning of Tuesday, December 3rd. This is a very cute and small place to stop by to get your morning fix of coffee/tea and baked goodies. Both customers and baristas were so friendly creating a really warm "mom & pops" atmosphere. I was about to order a Lavender Latte but the barista recommended a few seasonal drinks that weren't on the menu. I decided to go with her recommendation. IT. WAS. SO. GOOD! I wish this drink was on the menu permanently! It was a hot milk tea type drink that is very easy to drink. It paired so well with my zucchini bread that I purchased at the shop as well. My only regret is that I don't remember the name of the drink that was recommended to me! I'll definitely be back. Absolutely loved it!"
"Heard about Bombdiggity from one of our local breweries and have been anxious to try it out. Wow!What a great little place. Tucked away in a small row of business on Mountain Ave, this place is easy to miss if you are not looking for it. Bombdiggity is a small gourmet burger, hotdog and beer place with absolutely excellent food. The inside is nicely and simply decorated in pub style with five TV's with sports and Chive TV to watch. My wife and I tried the Frisco Burger: provolone, caramelized onions, Bombdiggity sauce on grilled parmesan sour dough and the Bombdiggity Bacon Bomb: Bacon Jam, caramelized onions, beer cheese, bacon and grilled mushrooms. Both were outstanding burgers made with Angus beef and full of flavor but the Bacon Bomb was the favorite of the two.We both ordered the House Kettle Chips for something different. Wow! They were good! Good and addicting. Couldn't get enough of them with our meal. Forget the French Fries, it's the House Kettle Chips that you want. The choice of local craft beer was great, as we do prefer the local breweries and enjoyed our Kings Juice Bombs. The only negative thing I could come up with was that the music was a bit loud and sometimes hard for us to have a conversation over. Our server Justin, was very friendly, helpful and provided great service. I highly recommend Bombdiggity as one of the best little known places here in Upland to have a great meal and a beer. We will definitely be going back very soon and look forward to sharing with our friends"

Ordered a pastrami on rye from 17th Street Deli through Postmates, and they absolutely hooked it up! The sandwich was stacked, the pastrami was flavorful and tender, and it arrived fresh. Made exactly as I asked, what great service. Lightly toasted rye, extra pastrami and add bacon. I know lettuce tomato and onion may not be normal for a pastrami sandwich, but I like what I like, and this was fire. Great portion, great taste, and definitely worth it!

My favorite place for frozen bananas! They're made to order, customized to your choice of dip and toppings. I especially enjoy that they are always at the perfect soft frozen state that's easy to eat. Today I ordered mine dipped in milk chocolate, then rolled in heath pecan crunch. My husband and daughter love the Balboa Bar. They chose milk chocolate topped with almonds. So, so good!

I was driving from SD to LA, and I stopped at a cafe to get caffeine and some breakfast. There was nothing at this silly little roadside joint to eat! I looked on Yelp for a good sandwich and thankfully found this Cheese Shop! My sandwich was incredible! There was a great cheese in there next to slices of a Granny Smith apple, and it was DELICIOUS. Good tastes and good textures joined together to keep me fueled and cheerful for my drive up California highways. If I lived anywhere near this place, I'd go back to get this sandwich again right now. If you can get there, count yourself lucky. (See also: Free Parking.)

Yummy!!!The triple chocolate Oreo milkshake was amazing! So rich and delicious. I was craving chocolate and this hit the freakin spot!!!! 10/10 on the triple chocolate Oreo milkshake. I added boba and extra boba. I like chewing on the boba. lol My partner ordered the House Signature Milk Tea. He enjoyed that very much. To me, that one was more on the plain side. But it was still smooth. He rated it 10/10 I would say this was a win for boba!

The food was fantastic, the lamb was excellent, the kebabs were excellent, the two different styles of rice were great! The gentleman behind the counter whose name I forgot to ask, was very informative and very friendly and helped with all of our questions. We will certainly return! As a senior citizen, I can tell you it is not overly spiced. It is not too spicy for your system, I HIGHLY recommend to all!

This is an absolutely charming and delightful coffeehouse. There are a million coffeehouses in the world and many of them are great. But far too many are very modern and, frankly, uncomfortable places. This spot is inviting and comfortable. There is seating inside and out and the seating is both funky and old-timey, as contradictory as that sounds. The coffee is very good. They've got fancy drinks that are very good and basic stuff that's good, too. They also have pastries, paninis, fancy toasts, burritos, and other food. The menu is extensive. They've got their own parking lot, too, so big points there.Highly recommended.

Moonwood has baked goods on lock. Their delightful selection of gluten includes lemon bars, cinnamon rolls, croissants, and even cookie decorating kits for the holidays. Such a unique addition! The staff is super friendly, offering personalized recommendations based on your taste preferences. I tried the Cedar Cinnamon Latte with oat milk, which had a taste of spice that was both surprising and yummy. While the seating inside is limited, the cozy atmosphere makes it a great spot to grab something to go. Whether you're a pastry lover or coffee enthusiast, Moonwood Coffee is definitely worth a visit!

"This place is clean and well-maintained. We luckily came at a good time, about five minutes before it started to get busy. We were assisted right away and received our ice creams a few minutes later. We ordered a single scoop of coffee ice cream, a single fruity pebbles ice cream, and a single biscoff ice cream with biscoff pieces and marshmallow cream.Coffee- Rich with a strong coffee flavor which is exactly what we needed. It was creamy and pretty filling.Fruity pebbles- This unlocked a core childhood memory! The base was light and creamy and had a generous amount of fruity pebbles.Biscoff ice cream with biscoff bits and marshmallow cream- Sweet and creamy, the biscoff pieces added a layer of crunch and the marshmallow cream took the sweetness to another level! It was quite indugent.Great dessert trip overall!"
"Taco 900 catered a company lunch for about 60 and it was so good! The set up was great, the portions were generous and the food was fantastic. They provided a vegan option of sauteed jackfruit which I don't see a lot of caterers providing. Also the churros were a huge hit for dessert. I highly recommend them for any of your corporate events!"
"Decided to try another new drink and I can never pick a bad drink here!!!! This place is just too good every time! I got the Mango Jasmine and it had the right amount of flavor and sweetness. So refreshing and yummy on a nice warm day!!!!! I love coming here every week and I would actually come here everyday if I could!!!"
"I had never tried rolled ice cream before, and On a Roll was my first experience with this viral, novelty treat. The 'Exotic Essence' and 'Creamy Pistachio' flavors were instant favorites. My dad was so excited to devour it, based on the beautiful presentation of the ice creams!! The Exotic Essence was beautifully fragrant and aromatic, while the Pistachio lived up to its name--creamy, rich, and perfectly nutty. What I really appreciate is that the ice cream isn't overly sweet, so you can truly savor the flavors rather than just sugar. We also tried the Mudslide, and it was delicious! Plus, they offer halal marshmallows, which is a great bonus. The location is clean and bright, with friendly and helpful service. Shoutout to Ahmed, who patiently helped our indecisive family pick the perfect flavors. We'll definitely be back to share this unique ice cream experience with our loved ones."
"Hired Mike to come for a few hours and make Filipino-inspired tacos for our backyard engagement party. He was very communicative and considerate, reasonable with pricing and even came a bit early to make sure that he would be setup in time before the party started. The Filipino twist on tacos was awesome! Everyone really enjoyed them and we even had leftovers for people to take home. My only suggestion is it would be fun to have more than one sauce since each of the taco meats were really unique. :)"
"Tried for the first time and I refill be returning. Chicken 65, with raita, mint chutney, and garlic Naan perfection"
"I love the convenience of this service. Someone comes out to our building every day... with fresh food.In the beginning we were told someone would come between 9:45am and 10:00am. Its more like 11:00am - 11:15am. For me thats too late for breakfast and too early for lunch, so its not the best time. And its not consistent. In the beginning the food was very scarce, it seems now there is more of a selection. My favorite thing was the Spring Rolls, however the other day they were made so poorly it totally turned me off. They were just about impossible to eat, and it was a bummer. For $6.95 I expect more. They looked like they were rolled by a 3 year old, in a hurry. Everything fell out of them and the coating was ripped all over.I am definitely looking to try a breakfast burrito one of these days.I got a salad, and it was ok.Everything is fresh, and on the healthy side, which is awesome.I just wish the prices were a little lower, the timing was more consistent and early, and things were made with a little more patience and detail."
"The menu and the quality of the food is impressive. The menu has breakfasts and lunch, soups, salads and sandwiches The CranberryApple salad is the bomb. I have used them for some catering events and Wais did a great presentation. Would highly recommend"
"We ordered a family dinner of: 2 platters of fried chicken wings with Mac n cheese, potato salad, greens. It was simply delicious & made with love! True Soulfood taste full of flavor & Hannah is a pleasure to deal with! Order from her & you will be back for more! She's reasonably priced too :)"
"I needed a midnight snack last night and ordered a Wagyu Outside Skirt Bowl on DoorDash. They go by Gyu-Yaki Wagyu Bowl on that app. It was amazing! The egg was perfect. The food was flavorful and delicious. I am craving another one and will probably pick up another bowl when I am in Irvine today."
"Came here for lunch with a group of five. We were sat pretty immediately and had a chance to order food. We ordered the toasts for the table and sandwiches and salads for our entrées. I really enjoyed my meal. I will say service was a little off, but I think it's because they were about to switch shifts. It was hard to find someone to help us for a while, but once the second server came around, they were really helpful. A great spot to check out if you're in the area for lunch, dinner, or even happy hour!"
"Amazing ice cream, super creamy and rich. I believe the ice cream is homemade. They have more flavors than I can dream of. Vietnamese coffee, bananas foster, and strawberry chocolate chuck were what we tried. The ice cream sandwich and dipped cones looked so delicious!! The customer service is fast and friendly. Thank you Ronnie Perez! Very polite. Feels like an old time ice cream parlor. There are tables and bench seating as well. Cool chandeliers filled the room."
