"What the hell is going on at this particular Sizzler? Who's running it? And why isn't that person, the CEO of the whole damned chain?First off, it is properly and fully staffed, so the place is neat and the (entirely traditionally American) salad bar is well maintained and full of fresh, clean vegetables. Second, the burger here was entirely properly cooked, with the right amount of salt. The garlic mashed potatoes were the only letdown -- they were clearly reconstituted from flakes a few hours ago.Now I grant you, there's nothing challenging or spectacular about the meal. And the lighting is a bit medical. But for this particular genre of food and service, this particular Sizzler is absolutely nailing it.Believe it or not, this is actually a date place, for a certain kind of quirky date -- for example, if you're both short on cash but want a night out anyway. My low maintenance girlfriend loved it. Sizzler, of all damned places!This review does NOT apply to the Sizzler chain in general."

My husband had the tri tip sandwich and I chose the spicy seafood pasta. Although my dish was not spicy to me, it was flavorful and delicious; with huge pieces of fish, shrimp, calamari and mussels. The restaurant accommodated the time frame, which needed to be moved up almost an hour (we called and asked if we could arrive "now" basically). The staff was busy the entire time and very attentive. Props to Johanny our waitress. She was amazing and professional from start to finish. She definitely stood out as a great employee. We usually don't go to this restaurant, (Denny's in general) but based on the staffs desire to treat people like family we will definitely put it on our radar. My buddy spoke highly of the biscuits and gravy. So he got that and I swap a pancake for his biscuit and holy moly are the biscuits HUGE! Its enough to KO you! The pancakes are crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside. One of the best pancakes I've had. I wasn't able to finish my meal, but got to have 2nds later that day.Definitely would come again!"

The staff is attentive and friendly. We are never left hanging waiting for creamer, sugar or to go boxes. Food comes out quickly, or within a reasonable amount of time based on how busy they are. While I have remained true to my love, the pork belly Benedict, my husband has ordered most of the breakfast menu, and there have been no complaints so far. The restaurant clean, bright and comfortable. This local spot is a gem. If you are in need of regular breakfast situation, 17th Street Grill would be my first recommendation. Love the food.
