After being turned away from countless other restaurants in the area, Bondi welcomed us with open arms--and introduced us to the delightful and somewhat healthy delicacy known as açaí!We opted for a small custom bowl with the basics: strawberries, granola, and nuts. At around $12, it's a bit on the pricier side, but the granola base was incredibly flavorful and well-balanced. The portion size was generous enough to share between two people, and the fresh banana and strawberry toppings paired beautifully with the crunchy nuts and granola.And let's not forget the ambiance! The cute pink interior created a welcoming vibe, and the sparkling-clean restrooms deserve special recognition--something I've rarely encountered at a restaurant. Truly impressive!From the excellent customer service to the delicious food, Bondi Bowls has it all. If you're looking for a go-to açaí spot, this is the one you'll want to keep coming back to. "Freddy's Delis is certainly a 5+ Star establishment. The "plus" is a nod to Freddy being friendly and appears to remember the names of his returning clients. It kind of gives off a Cheers vibe, where everyone knows your name. Freddy's Deli is a small kiosk embedded inside a business building and most of his customer inside this office is enough to keep him busy. The sandwich is set up like a bar - see the stools you can eat at the counter or four small tables along the wall. Unless you know this café, it's hidden from street and certainly not widely advertise. Once you walk in, you're see small tables and turn the corner to see the counter. The menu is small with weekly specials. I stopped by for late lunch and wanted something light, Freddy was working alongside his cooks. He's made me a grilled cheese and gave me a free coup on the side. If you're looking for a place with not just great sandwiches, but even greater people - cooks are very interactive, look no further than Freddy's Deli! Freddy himself makes sure to greet you with a smile and a personal touch that makes you feel like you're a regular, even if it's your first visit, like me. It's rare to find a place where the customer service is so warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly--everyone here goes above and beyond to make you feel like a friend, not just a customer. Unless I caught them on a really good day, and only two other customers, this place sure makes you feel value. Whether you're grabbing something to go or sitting down during your lunch break, this is the place to be and to support a small business owner. I try to stop by month but after the lunch peak hours."

"602 is my FAVORITE coffee spot in Huntington - which says a lot because there a million different options. Not only is the coffee delicious (and nonfat lattes are the BEST ever), but the team that works there is SO nice. I was thrown off a few times being the jaded New Yorker that I am when the person taking my order asked, "So what are you up to today, any fun plans?" At first I didn't say anything, assuming they were talking to a colleague before it hit me that they're just NICE people. The açai bowls are fresh and delicious, I genuinely look forward to them every time I'm in California. They'll put a lid on them too in case you want to take them to go, which we always opt for, then walk to the pier and have coffee and bowls by the pier watching the surfers. The location, the people, the price for value, and the vibe is just amazing - plus, they have outdoor seating with beach views too if you want to just hang instead of walking anywhere! I hadn't been here in about 5 years and it was just as good as I remembered - even better."

I think their Chorizo is house made, definitely not the grocery store kind. Green sauce is bomb! Tonight for dinner I tried the Carnitas Burrito. I ate half but wanted to eat the entire thing! I think it was the best burrito I have ever eaten. I liked the red sauce as much as the green. My husband had their Ramen with Barria and he definitely enjoyed it. Great job. "A very cute and modern boba shop in Tustin with specialty drinks and even acai bowls! They have Wi-Fi and a few tables where you can enjoy your boba or do work. I was stuck picking a drink because everything looked so good, but I got the Rose Vanilla Milk Tea and would 100% get this again. It was the perfect sweetness, and the custard pudding was the icing on the cake, which made the drink amazing. I got the drink with 75% sweetness but would get 50% next time. Parking was easy, and there were plenty of available spots. I would come back and recommend this place to anyone."

"Discovered this açaí bowl spot during my lunch break at Irvine Spectrum Mall. It's located right by Wahoos. Liked the variety of bases to choose from. What was different here vs other places, was the base had a froze consistency. You can sample them before deciding to choose, and can also mix and match. I really liked the match and blue majic base. As for toppings, they had 2 different chia puddings, different flavored oats, granolas, nuts and much more.If you're not into bowls, there were a couple of smoothie toppings to choose from. The staff was super nice and friendly. The facility was pretty clean and I was happy to see staff being put fresh toppings around lunch time."

"I've been to the Acai Republic in Newport, so I was really excited to check this one out as well because I had a great experience. The layers of paradise lets you choose an açai base (127cals) and then it has layers of passionfruit cream (220 calories) and then you can pick two toppings of fruit. There's strawberries, bananas, blueberries, pineapple, and mango (184calories.) Leslie you have the option to add honey or agave or both. The coolest part about this though is they have the same ownership as the MMA studio next-door. I noticed the Acai Republic sign and juice bar inside of the studio and I went to check it out. It's a really great location to grab a smoothie, juice, açai bowl or pitaya bowl after a workout."

This definitely lived up to all the hype - they nailed the perfect ratio of matcha to almond milk and I loved how sweet it was without being overwhelming (it literally tasted like ice cream to me which was incredible). The matcha powder they used was so high quality that I actually had to ask what brand it was. The service was fantastic too - they had my drink ready within 2 minutes! The food!!! We got a few different specialty drinks and a mimosa, cuz it's five o'clock somewhere... and i can wholeheartedly say they were "not too sweet" (iykyk) and delicious. ...my kiddo ordered the blueberry and lemon hotcakes and I got the verde chilaquiles... both dishes were obvie made to order, complex and balanced in flavor, and honestly, the best new brekkie dishes we've had in a looooooong time...and just like every good Asian mom in the game, they bring you fresh cut fruit (and Ferrero Rocher chocolates) at the end of your meal... The more complex the smoothie and the more add-ons can really jack up the price fast."

This location is a bit smaller and it faces Newport Ave (you will have to park on the side or behind and walk to the front), but inside was very clean and enjoyable to enjoy our food. The service here was vey very good--the workers informed us of the app special--which saved us 50% of our total order--which was super nice of them to let us know before we ordered. The first time I tried some of their pastries. We tried the ham & cheese empanada and the cheese balls. These were both good, but a little stale--I would imagine since it was later in the night, they weren't as fresh, but still pretty good. The bowls were outstanding. The frozen base is so good along with the fresh fruit on top is just great. You can tell their produce is very ripe and fresh! I recommend the medium as it's pretty filling. Overall, the great service and bowls would have me coming back here!"
