This place is extremely popular; be prepared for a long wait if you come on the weekend. The team does everything in their power to have the menu available to have people make decisions prior to ordering (even though some customers don't take advantage of this) and is very quick at getting your order input and expedited upon ordering. Very impressive. I didn't get to see the inside, other than the ordering counter, as it was a packed Sunday morning. All inside seating was taken. Had to eat outside with the birds on wet tables, but it was a cool breezy day, not exactly a bad option (the birds only get really involved if food is left out, unattended). We ordered the breakfast burrito with sausage, which comes with home fried potatoes. My friend ordered the 2 egg breakfast with scrambled eggs well done, Texas toast with a side of bacon. Regardless of the exceptionally long line and wait to order, food came out inexplicably fast, hot and visibly mouthwatering. My burrito was jammed packed with sausage, pico de gallo, eggs and home potatoes....but unfortunately I couldn't taste the cheddar cheese or the much desired cilantro crema that I was looking so forward to. A little heartbreaking....but this burrito is hearty and the sausage, eggs and pico were fantastically fresh and savory. The burrito tortilla was thin and perfect to wrap all this goodness inside. Based on the home fried potatoes alone, this would be a 5 star meal. I have never had home fried potatoes so perfectly fried, seasoned with soft, pillowy potatoes inside. My fried loved the bacon on her 2 egg plate...it was thick cut and fried to a crisp without being burnt. The Texas toast is no joke...thick, heavily buttered and toasted through. Her only complaint is that the well done eggs were really well done. When we were given options on the scrambled type it was soft scrambled or well done, wished for a medium option. Overall, an excellent breakfast/brunch option. Haven't tried the lunch menu to comment.

Burnt crumbs is pretty popular on weekends (as is expected). It's one of those order at the counter and find your seat. They have a few indoor seats but most people opt to sit outdoors especially if there's good weather. Con to the outdoor seating is that a lot of the tables aren't clean as they are kind of the plaza's common space. Service is extremely fast though, once you order, unless you got the jiggly pancakes. I personally liked the omelette but the quesadillas were honestly kinda heavy and too much for one person to eat in a sitting. Overall, not bad, but nothing to rave about.

The line was soooo long, so we ordered online. There is lots of seating. While we waited, we went grabbed drinks from Whole Foods since the OJ was $6 not in this economy! We received our takeout and I was a little bummed to see that the quesadilla wasn't fully prepared. The quesadilla is too oily to open and put those toppings inside. It is good, but very heavy. It can shared between two people. The soufflé pancakes is what will be bringing me back. It was so light and fluffy and sooo yummy. Absolutely perfect.

Location: plaza with Whole Foods and other restaurants and services. Parking: plenty of free parking spaces Experience:Scan QR code for menu to check out if line is too long. Otherwise, there's a menu at the cashier. You order at the cashier, they give you a number, and it is self seating indoor/outdoor. We got:- seasonal clam chowder with cheesy toast : wonderful, not too thick, packed with fixings - pancakes, berry compote and strawberry : yum! Excellent texture and flavors - avocado toast : decent! It needed a little something but can't put my finger on it - breakfast sandwich w/ sausage : yum yum, solid - spaghetti sandwich : interesting but waaay too carb dense - carne asada omelette : dry meat but fluffy eggs - viet iced coffee : good and strong! Average price per entry roughly $12-15? Up to $17 if I recall correctly Total bill: around $120Other notes: don't sleep on the potato's or chips! Amazing. The aioli that goes with the chips was great too. Overall: it's a popular spot! The turn around on food once you order is impressive. Gotta love that. Seating will more than likely be outside as indoor space is limited.

Is it worth the hype and the long line? Hmm, for me it's a yes and here's why. The potatoes! I'm a huge sucker for a well made fried potato. If you find yourself at burnt crumbs please do yourself a favor and order the home fried potatoes. The pancakes seemed to have been extremely popular, seeing most people order a plate of some sort thought I was honestly underwhelmed. I expect a light and fluffy bite but it was almost like a foamy rubber texture. The strawberry cream was yummy, not an artificial flavor which I'm always happy about. There is outdoor, self serve seating and there is typically a wait. Come on a cool, sunny day and the ambiance is refreshing and lively.

This brunch was SOOO good! First, portions are so massive and was able to split the dishes but honestly each plate could feed 2-3 people, especially the breakfast quesadilla. Very reasonable price for the amount of food you get.The quesadilla was so delicious and the crispy breakfast potatoes are just so perfect and chefs kiss. I think about these potato's so often. The soufflé pancakes were very fluffy and light, but a bit too sweet for me.

Checked out Burnt Crumbs with a friend for Sunday brunch and was delighted by really great food! I ordered the Breakfast Fried Rice and really liked it. The egg on top really completed it. My friend got the Carne Asada Omelette which comes with a side of potatoes. I tried a bite of his plate and the potatoes were sooooooo crispy!! It was my favorite part. My favorite of everything were the soufflé pancakes. I do have a sweet tooth so there's a bias, but the pancakes were perfectly fluffy and light. We ordered the strawberry flavor and I absolutely hate strawberries, but I still really enjoyed the pancakes. We waited about 15 minutes in line plus about another 5-10 for our food which wasn't bad at all, but we sat there for a few hours and I noticed the line definitely got a lot longer as the day went on. There's limited seating inside but plenty to go around outside!

I've always been a bit familiar with burnt crumbs because they used to cater Monday morning breakfast with my old employer like 2017-2019 or so. And it was pretty decent food but nothing spectacular. They would only take your ultra typical breakfast food to Houzz. SeveralFolks told me that their menu and quality was vastly different at their bric n mortar so it was on my list to check out. The consistent long ass lines I'd notice every time I'd drop off my dog at the vet next door always got me curious. Finally tried it and it was pretty good. I definitely regret not getting the chilaquiles though! I gotta the breakfast burrito with carne asada and a side of their super tasty and crispy breakfast potatoes. As for their pancake soufflé. It's not the best I've had by a long shot but I won't knock it down too much until I try the original or berry compote one (I knew I should've gone with the host / cashiers recommendation). Overall I'd recommend checking it out. Food is tasty and the overall service and customer care is really good. And food comes out in a surprisingly timely fashion for how busy this damn place gets.Cheers peeeeps.
