Burger Lounge

I'm not really a big burger eater, nor am I huge on meat in general but my wife and I got a sudden craving for a decent burger, and Burger Lounge popped up nearby. So, we decided to give it a shot.When I saw their burgers going for $15 -$16 bucks each, my first reaction was pretty much "Wait, what?!" But hey, there had to be a reason for that price I assumed. I went with the bacon burger and some fries, grabbed a couple of salads from Whole Foods next door, and dug in. I have to say, I was impressed. As Samuel L. Jackson famously said in Pulp Fiction: "This is a tasty burger!"Now, since it's a premium burger place, I kinda expected the interior to feel a bit more upscale. Instead, it's super casual, almost too casual. But at least the food was solid. I left satisfied and might actually come back next time I'm in the neighborhood and craving a burger again. Maybe I'll give another item on their menu a try. Overall, it's pricey, but the quality is definitely there.

So we just moved to the area from Sherman oaks, and absolutely LOVED the burger lounge branch in Van Nuys. One night we wanted burgers, looked up Burger Lounge, and what do ya know, there's one close by. Immediately got in the car and went.Man were we let down.Ordered the food, sat down, got the food. Both of our burger patties were burned. The onions on the burgers, burned. Fries were cold. The only ok part was the dairy free shake. A little sweet but pretty good.The strange part was, after we left and during the drive home we both had an allergic reaction from something in the food. My throat started closing up with a tingling feeling. And my girlfriend who never gets allergic reactions also had the same thing, throat closing up, hard to breathe, and tingling feeling.It would be a safe assumption to say that we will never be returning. Especially at over $50 for dinner at a burger place but also from the poor quality and allergic reactions.Too bad.

The service was great with our take-out order ready before we got there. The ambiance inside is simple with plenty of seating. The Impossible Lounge Burger was very good with an excellent patty full of a pleasant char flavor. The sauce complimented this well. My only gripe is that the cheese wasn't as melted as I'd like.The fries were good with the sauce, but pretty bland without the sauce. Not amazingly crispy but also surprisingly not soggy given the drive.

The kids wanted burger and since we are in the area, we gave this place a try. The burger tasted good but they are small compare to the price. The patty was very thin, while they just pile up with veggies. Beware, anticipate some dripping juice while eating. Not sure if it is from their thinning sauce or veggies. They have lots of seating, inside and outside. You ordered and they bring the food out to you. The service has a friendly vibe.

Delicious BURGERS! But the ONION RINGS Large Half and Half is always my favorite go too! Staff is super friendly and very attentive! My favorite location too!

I'm not sure how to process this disappointment. I ordered 2 Lounge burgers well done with fries. They arrived via Postmates over an hour later. Pink and cold and soggy. Somehow I paid $90 for a bunch of food that was old, cold, and honestly not good to eat hour old meat that is visibly pink. Burger Lounge made some rare burgers and sent them out with Postmates to deliver and over an hour later they arrived to me cold. Totally notEatable.

This place get be a little pricey if you're going for the whole shabang, which I did, but the quality of everything is pretty solid. I tried their Lounge Burger, did a half/half of fries and onion rings, and a chocolate milkshake. The servers there are super nice and constantly checked on me. There are plenty of places to sit in both inside and out. This is a nice spot to go to for a good quality burger.

FAVORITE BURGER! Staff is superb, they are always attending guest. Love taking my office mates here !

I have had it before in person and was really good, the service was really good and my food was good as well. I haven't been there in a while and ordered my burger through Uber Eats. The food came 30 minutes later and was cold and when I reheated it I could not eat it due to the burger being super rubbery as well.

these burgers are outrageously expensive and usually undercooked. The staff dresses like slobs. The kitchen is a mess. Then they have the audacity to have you swipe your card on a device that starts the tipping at 18%, when it should start at 10%. 10 to 15 is adequate for someone handing u food over a counter. This isn't fine dining with a waiter in a tux fawning over you.Yes, I know u can type in a custom amount for the credit card, but there's an intimidation factor and when people in the back are handling my food, I don't want to piss them off.
