I recently visited Broken Yolk Cafe in Orange, and overall, it was a good experience. The service was excellent--our server was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. The menu has a huge variety, which is great if you're dining with a group that has different tastes. The portion sizes are definitely generous, so you won't leave hungry. I ordered the French toast trio, and it was tasty! The quality was pretty standard for the price. Some items seemed a bit overpriced for what you get, but if you're looking for a solid breakfast or brunch spot with big servings, this place delivers. The atmosphere is casual and family-friendly, though it can get busy during peak hours. Service is very quick and staff is friendly. Will be coming back

This restaurant has a large fun menu with lots of choices you are sure to find something you may enjoy. The restaurant is clean and there is plenty of parking to be had. The service is ok. They are neither attentive nor are they dismissive. It could just be that I went in a Saturday afternoon and they were busy. The food itself to me was subpar.Avocado toast - very very thin layer of avocado. The toast was more a bread than toast so it didn't have that fun texture difference. Completely overloaded with the onions. Eggs Bennie- was sloppy in presentation and the egg was way over cooked. The sauce was nice but almost too much. I am unsure if it is just because I went on the weekend but the reviews do not match what I experienced. I may come again not during the weekend time to check.

I'm leaving a 5 star review for Eunice V. Awesome personality. Loved having her as the person that helped us.I would come back for her.Now a 3 star for the food. Too expensive for what it is.$12.95 for avocado toast with nothing else was a bit much. The croissant Sandwich at $16.45 was a lot for how it was served and what it was.Latte was a very small cup for the price. Nice place, great server, expensive food.

The service was great! The kitchen was running behind so she brought us out a delicious blueberry muffin while we waited we thought that was so nice! This was our first time here and we liked everything we had. The restaurant was clean and real busy. Parking was full but found a spot on the street. The Bloody Mary flight was fun and nice to try the different choices. When we are back in Southern California I'd go again!!

Truth be told, the food is pretty much what the other reviews said--okay breakfast food. However, the Ranchero Skillet was a standout and definitely the best dish we tried! The Sweet Trio was a fun way to sample the best sweet treats on the menu, though it's definitely geared toward those with a serious sweet tooth. The Sope Benedict, on the other hand, didn't quite hit the mark for me; it lacked some flavor, and the sope got a bit soggy, making it more doughy than I'd like. But hey, everyone has different tastes! The servers were friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere had a nice spacious, diner-like vibe.

The service here is amazing! I had called ahead to see if they could accommodate a large group with dogs and they said they could. I hadn't specified a time or asked for a reservation but when I arrived they had set aside a table for us already. The food was delicious with huge portion sizes. Everyone from our party had to get to go boxes because the plates were that large. I'd recommend trying out some of their omelettes or biscuits and gravy.

Much better this time!I ordered for delivery. My husband loves breakfast so much. I like breakfast, but it's not my favorite. I ordered the build your own omelette with hash-browns and an orange juice. The omelette needed more cheese. It was all egg. My husband got a Cali breakfast burrito and the biscuit and gravy meal. He said it was really good and enjoyed it. Service was great, we got all the condiments we requested. Food was still warm on delivery.

We've never been to a Broken Yolk where we left not full! My family and I came on a Sunday around 11am and were sat by 11:15. (Party of 4) I got the border Benedict (a staple for me), my boyfriend got the chilaquiles, my sister got the chicken and waffle Benedict and my dad got the machaca. All of our food was delicious. The service was great, everyone was very nice and our server came to check on us throughout our meal. They also had a balloon artist which was fun to watch! The volume was moderate and the restaurant is very clean. Great place to come on a weekend! The only negative thing I will say is that parking is super hard to find. We parked on the street behind the restaurant.

Food is always amazing no matter how busy it is, quality has never failed. Appreciate the honesty from staff when asking if the oj/lemonade were fresh or from a bottle (they were bottled)Its a pretty lively cafe/diner like setting, so if the hustle and bustle isnt for you, wouldnt recommend. There is ALWAYS a wait so I definitely suggest joining the waitlist ahead of time so youre not crowding the patio waiting too long. Parking lot is pretty packed also, but its not too much circling going on waiting for someone to leave.
