Bourbon Street Bar & Grill

I strolled into Bourbon St. on Sunday. A few gents were watching a playoff game on TV. Jacob, the bartender, kept the bar clean, took orders promptly, and engaged occasionally in congenial conversation with what appeared to be the regulars for a Sunday afternoon.Jacob took my order shortly after I sat down. His demeanor and self presentation were well suited for this bar & the line of work. I don't drink much, so I simply asked for a pineapple juice. Jacob poured the glass, served the glass, and took my money more expediently than most bartenders--even during a slower time of night. The juice kept me loose too.5 stars. A solid & sufficiently staffed bar.

Quick happy hour beers and early dinner. We stopped in just for beers and some appetizers, but ended up getting full meals. The server was very friendly and helpful and gave us his favorites, which we all ordered.You feel like you're in an old-school bar that you'd find in New Orleans. It's a big space with a straight bar and lots of seating.We were pleasantly surprised at how good the food was, especially at its affordable price point. Still thinking about the pork chops, which was thick and yet moist and delicious.

Stopped in to say hi to our friends who were djing later on that night. We were a little early so we decided to grab something to eat. First time trying their food. I ordered the Grilled Cheese Sandwich & Tomato Bisque. The bread was big and thick and filled with a lot of cheese. I wasn't getting a lot of flavor but I dipped it in the soup and I loved it. The soup was perfect. Not acidic at all, was very flavorful. Big portion. I'm a good eater and I had to pack away half for home. My daughter ordered the Bourbon Street Nachos. House made cajun potato chips smothered in melted cheddar, pepper jack and smoked gouda cheeses, green onions, house pico de gallo and bacon. This was good but could've just ordered this for the 3 of us and it would've been more than enough. This was huge. Recommend sharing between 6 people if this is just an appetizer. Share between 3 people if it's part of your meal. It was really that big. My husband ordered the lemon pepper chicken wings. He wasn't thrilled as they were over fried and he couldn't enjoy them. Ordered a few whiskey gingerales to make him feel better about it. However, the service was phenomenal. Our server was always waiting in the wings and checking on us. Not too much. Just right. Ad though it was dark, the ambiance was so lively and the artwork on the walls were very unique and well displayed. Ambiance: 10/10Service: 10/10Food: 4/10. I'm going to give this place another try and inquire on portions next time.

Located in the heart of DTF.Next to what use to be known as "Commonwealth Lounge"Came here to Celebrate my cousins 40th Birthday. She had a few items set up buffet style. Food was delicious that included a chicken skewer, jambalaya, fettuccine, garlic toast to name a few.Drinks were strong. Associates were nice at the bar. Service was good. Pricing for the drinks seems to be like all prices around the bar area.Loving the Beautiful succulents & flowers on the wall in the outdoor patio. Big patio w lots of tables & seatings. Patio has a Tv mounted to the wall.Ambiance was a nice chill bar.Lots of parking availableHighly recommend this bar pub.

A stalwart of downtown Fullerton. They get extra points for just existing longer than most of the restaurants in the immediate area. You'll find live music on some nights here. The layout is a long rectangle, from front to the back. There is usually plenty of parking in the back of the building, which they share with others, as well as the Fullerton Amtrak station. The food here is surprisingly great. I had a wonderful burger - well made, smoky and delicious. Drinks are also well made. Service is fast if you're at the bar, and may be fast or slow if you are at a table, depending on how many staff are working that day. I have no hesitancy to visit here again.

I've been on one Yelping recently and I know my reviews are not really short, but I'll try to keep this short. And I figured to leave this place a review since first time eating here.I've been here years ago, for the nightlife scene drinks and music. Can't remember much so I don't know if that is bad or good thing :p Kidding but it has been awhile. Came here to start off a Sunday Funday about noon. Very quiet day, pretty empty upon arrival. After our party ordered our drinks we moved outside to a small patio area to order lunch. The portions seemed large so we shared our plates. Went ahead and ordered the Grill Cheese and Tomato Bisque. Comfort food is hard to go wrong with, and this was pretty decent to be honest. The sandwich itself was thick, good cheese pull and bread toasted nicely. The soup was good also and creamy, for a perfect dip. Was it the best? No, but not bad. Honestly I was surprised because I never would of thought to come here for food. If you ever go to Nordstrom they low key have one of the best Tomato soups I've had. However food was good enough to comeback here again.There was only one server that day, and she was quite helpful especially her running out to us and back to the bar. So it did seem understaffed, but it was slow enough she'd come check on us periodically. Definitely mirror an order at the bar and find a seat place, but we were accommodated nicely l.Anyways longer review than I expected, but this place was pretty decent. Tavern feel that's for sure, but not too run downed. Would comeback with all the options in DTF.

Good food and a pretty, cozy bar. They have happy hour too. Super nice staff. We shared the zucchini appetizer and French dip sandwich which were really good. Live music was great also. No complaints!

Yummy food & drinks.Had the Pasta Pomadoro with Shrimp.My husband had the Pork Chop with Garlic Mashed potatoes.Also had fun dancing to the "NEW ORIGINALS" 70's-80's band! Will definitely come again!

They just changed the menu, the breakfast is bomb!! Heather and John are the best. Grilled salmon is also really really good, I love this place.
