They have really terrible service at this location and also aren't very organized. I've gotten delivery from third-party delivery apps from here a bunch of times, sometimes it's good, sometimes it's not. But I went in person for the first time the other day and it was terrible. They were "out of" or "couldn't ring that up" for every single item I ordered and the person up front was super rude. I'm not sure if maybe they're new and didn't know how to ring items up, but in that case, why wasn't someone overseeing them and helping them? Anyway, completely skipping this one in the future. Parking situation is also not ideal; they have a tiny shared lot and it was hard to find.

Normally I love Boudin, but this location just misses the mark.Upon walking in, we noticed nobody at the front counter. We were the only people in line but someone walked past us and found an employee on the online orders counter to ask for change, so that summoned him to come to the register. Right after, he took our order. My daughter always gets a kids meal and she likes the fun seasonal sugar cookies so she asked for the Valentines cookie. We were told the options are only apple sauce or a chocolate chip cookie. At other locations we have been able to choose any cookie, so when did this change? Needless to say, she was disappointed but still got a cookie so it's hard to complain. The food was just OK. I love the butternut squash soup so I grabbed that with a half caprese sandwich (their "pick and pair" meal). The sandwich was pretty good! The soup felt like it was missing something, like it was underseasoned. Disappointing. The kids broccoli cheese soup was the best soup at our table, and the tomato soup was fine but the croutons were bland.Inside is quiet and was mostly empty while we were dining. There is no outside seating. After a disappointing visit, we decided not to come back to this location. We will drive a bit further to go to better locations that we have preferred. The lack of options for kids really brought things down. At other locations you can swap the cookie for any cookie, and they have apple juice, milk, or sometimes cranberry juice to drink. Not here; just applesauce or chocolate chip cookie and default drink is plain white milk.

First time coming to this location. Ordered the half Turkey avocado sandwich and clam chowder soup. Both were delicious. Love how soft their breads are and it's baked fresh daily. Service was good. Will be back again soon. Parking lot is shared with Charles Schwab and Marriott Residence Inn. You can order at the front or use the kiosk.

Whenever I forget to bring lunch to the office, Boudin is my go-to spot! This location is centrally located, but parking can be a bit of a hassle.I usually mobile-order my items which is easy and convenient. Everyone is friendly and food is always good! The restaurant itself is a bit small and will be pretty packed if you show up after 12:30.Now I'm craving a sandwich!

I have been to other locations Boudin is a great option for sandwiches and soup bowls. They have other menus items which included an assortment of breads, cookies and pastries. For thanksgiving they have sourdough stuffing and breads that are shaped like turkey's available. Service is quick. You can place your order through a kiosk or with a cashier. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Good choice for a lunch meeting or to catch up with friends. Parking is available in lot.

Listen I am a massive sucker for San Francisco sourdough. In this case I happen to know the brand Boudin is from San Francisco and so I was super excited and convinced my friends that this is where we were going to have lunch.They happily agreed and we all went overboard. I even bought a baguette that I ended up bringing home with me on the plane which is kind of funny and frankly by the time it got home it was hard which was sad. I was in town for a conference though so it kind of makes sense cuz all food was provided for in the conference. Back to the review of the restaurant..The location was very clean and it was very clear that you walked up to the register and or the mobile kiosks and placed your order. In my case I wanted to speak to the attendant at the register and he was super nice and friendly even though he was super young. And didn't really understand customer service frankly however he was super friendly. Said he couldn't answer most of my questions but that was okay. I got a flatbread pizza strangely a baguette and a bread bowl of soup.The soup came out hot and honestly it was just fantastic to dip the bread into the soup and eat it that way that's my favorite way to eat it and it was broccoli cheddar soup which was very good. Not as good as Panera but definitely very good. The pizza was just average don't waste your time with that this is obviously not a pizza place in the dough didn't even taste like sourdough.The sandwiches that my friends got were also fantastic. The bathrooms were clean the dining room was clean the self-service beverage area was clean. I didn't order a beverage but I was able to get a glass of water very easily and they were super friendly about the whole thing. When we needed boxes they were generous with them and had no problem giving us butter to go with our bread.

Several Boudin SF places popped up, but we were closest to this one. Why Boudin SF? Sandwiches and Sourdough bread and memories of San Francisco Fisherman's Wharf. This location is not very large, and we see patrons having their lunch. A young lady helped us with our orders. A Sourdough loaf filled with creamy tomato soup for the lovely missus. She loves any soup laden with tomatoes. The Sourdough bread bowl was just the right size. My order was different, no soup laden bread bowls, but I see a sandwich made on Rye toast...and it has Pastrami filling.. I should have paid more attention to the sandwich ingredients.. that first bite of Pastrami was confusing. A runny Coleslaw and was there bits of bacon in there? I ate the sandwich but I would choose something different next time. However, it came with a nice side of salad with croutons and a light dressing. We helped ourselves at the soda machine for sprite and lemonade. One of three restrooms was out of order. We had luck parking by the adjacent barbershop. Boudin SF does make a good Sourdough Bread and we bought a large roll and had it sliced. Yes, one picture on the wall is worth a thousand words.

I really enjoy the bread bowls I personally get the clam chowder. Sometimes the sourdough can be a little tough on the sandwiches but that is sourdough in general. The service is pretty standard nothing too special and nothing bad to say. If you come to california it is definitely something to try since it's california only.
