Boba Square

Great spot to visit for your boba cravings or snacks! Their popcorn chicken and fries are a MUST with the flakiness, crunch, and awesome flavor.The sesame coffee is fantastic with a nice coffee flavor and subtle sesame nutty taste. Mango slushy is another great choice with its fresh fruit flavor, and a white sweet cream on the inside. Oreo cream is for the sweet tooth lovers out there who want something decadent and smooth.Gets a little busy, but in a plaza with plenty of parking. Staff are also very friendly and will help with any questions you have. Give this place a shot!

I rarely write bad reviews, but this place definitely deserves zero stars.While we were in the plaza, we decided to give this place a try. We ordered the simplest drinks possible, yet both drinks shocked us.One of the drinks tasted like soap--it had a detergent smell, and now my car smells like detergent. Who allows detergent in a drink?The second drink, which was the black sugar milk boba, caused me to go to the restroom five times so far. I didn't know that a simple drink could cause food poisoning.I hope this business closes soon so that no one else experiences this misery. This was truly miserable.

This is quickly becoming my favorite local spot for boba. They really just hit all the checkmarks.1. Fantastic variety. Tons of different milk and fruit teas, including some more unique flavors like guava.2. Delicious taste/quality. So far I've had Green Thai (pictured below), house milk tea, wintermelon milk tea, and pink guava. None of them disappointed. They also add fun toppings like basil seeds and star jellies.3. Great service and ambiance. The workers are pretty quick to help you out, even though there's a self-order screen. Interior design is sleek and pleasing. They even have some food items. I've tried their popcorn chicken and fries. I might prefer some other locations for this kind of food, but hey, at least they have something!All in all, I'm thankful that I found this spot, which is so close to where I live in Woodbury.

This is one of the closest boba spots from our home, and so hubs and I would come here for boba dates occasionally. Usually we get a drink each, and sometimes hubs would also get the popcorn chicken so this review mostly concerns those. When it comes to boba drinks, I'm more of a tea drinker, so I prefer drinks that are more heavy tea and less sweet, particularly less artificial sweet. So I often ordered the iron buddha -- more "plain" and less special perhaps, but it's my favorite at this spot. Hubs is more adventurous about trying out different sweet drinks, and he usually likes them. The popcorn chicken is fresh, so we like eating it on-site before it gets cold. Highly recommend medium level spice (if you like it a little spicy)! Occasionally they also offer discounts - be sure to take advantage of those coupons when available!

It was my first time to visit this Boba place. I will definitely go back because their Boba is amazing! The adjustments they made in the sweetness were on point. It is a quaint place- the decor inside was very cute and cozy. Service was excellent- our drinks came in fast.

I got the taro-nado which was really good, but a little bit on the sweeter side. I also got the Oreo matcha, which was pretty good, but I like the taro- nado better. Overall the drinks were great!

Boba Square is an amazing addition to this Irvine plaza, used to going here just for groceries. Tried the taro and boba milk - definitely on the sweet side, but they are super creamy & don't have a pre-packaged taste. Really cute cafe thats decorated for the holidays. Nice quiet area. Very kind service!

Over the past month, we have tried so many different drinks from Boba Square. I have to say they really make great bobas!!! Our favorite caffeinated is Ruby Grapefruit and decaffeinated drink is Pistachio. Their store is always nice and clean. Their service is so great! I have been to many different Boba Square stores and this is my absolute favorite. Come try their Grapefruit and Pistachio guys!!!

I had seen boba square a few times and I got curious due to me seeing a line form from time to time throughout the days. After sometime, myself and my partner decided that we'll give that place a shot. The store is very bright on the inside, mostly white, and you have wooden benches and tables spread out throughout the store. There's even a wall with some LED lights and plants (I'm pretty sure they're fake but they look good) for you or a friend to take a cute photo/have a photo op!You have the option of either placing your order with a staff member or using the smart tablet. My partner and I were a little confused due to the amount of options and modifications you can make to your drink, but after some time we were able to figure it out and place our orders. It didn't take too long for us to get our drinks and to be completely honest, I was floored by the sizing. I thought I ordered a regular, and even my receipt said I did, so when the staff member gave me a large cup I thought it might've been a mistake. My partner also got the same size, a regular, but was handed the same size cup as mine; so, I knew for sure it wasn't a generous mistake. We also ordered some macaroons and those were the first things the staff members handed off to us.When it was time to try our drinks and the sweets I was surprised by the quality! The drinks weren't too sweet and the flavor wasn't watered down. I got the signature matcha and my partner got a play on a cookies and cream milkshake--without the ice cream of course--and we both loved it! The macaroons were delicious and prepared just right. I'm not sure if they prepare them in house or not but if they do, props to the pastry chef. Even though I've been to Boba Square only once I'm looking forward to the next time I can go in and enjoy another drink on their menu

Came in at about 8PM and there were only a couple people in the store. Me and my friends ordered a couple of drinks and the service was quick. I ordered the peach lychee ice tea with lychee jelly. The tea was extremely refreshing and I loved that there were bits of peach and lychee at the bottom of the drink. Would recommend this place if you're looking for something refreshing. Two things I'm curious about for next time are the brown sugar boba tea and the popcorn chicken. Both looked good and can't wait to try it!
