Blk Dot Coffee

Their mint mojito isn't as good as the one at Philz Coffee unfortunately. My friend enjoyed the drink he ordered though (he even got seconds), and we didn't have to wait long at all for our orders to come out! I'll definitely try a different drink from Blk Dot next time I visit.

Vietnamese Coffee is so good. This is the spot to quench yourthirst for super strong coffee. We are talking black as oil coffeewith condensed milk. I picked the strongest level and I had to wait over a few hoursto finish drinking it. There are places to sit down and do work. I noticed they have a few items on the menu. Next time I willcheck those out.

If I made this review when I first visited Irvine's Blk Dot Coffee some months back, it would have been an easy 5 star review. In fact, it was one of spots I was excited to return to when I came back to visit a second time.I came to Blk Dot and ordered a Sea Salt Latte, not just once but two different time, and unfortunately each time left me with such stomach cramps that I had not felt before at this location. I'm not sure what happened or if the recipe changed but it certainly did not agree with me anymore. Which is a shame because it's such a cute little shop. I was just wondering if there might have been a change in recipe the past two or so months that could explain the way I was feeling?

This place is delicious! Not only are the drinks good, but the food and service are great as well. They have a location in Tustin Market and also the spectrum.The thai tea is very sweet, but delicious. There are no customizations to sweetness or milk for this drink, but it is made great!Their grilled cheese has tons of flavors and multiple cheeses in it and is not you average grilled cheese! Highly recommend.

Ordered a Lychee Peach tea w/ chia seeds & lychee jelly (half sweet) and it was better than I expected! I think it's quite a simple drink compared to what you can get customized at a boba shop, but for the price, I'm content. It's not overly sweet w/ the sweetness customization and was a quick fix.Location is at Tustin Marketplace, very accessible and convenient. Quick service as well as having a few tables to work/study at. I would say that the music is a bit on the louder side, so keep that in mind if you're trying to study.

Came shopping at the Spectrum and stopped by Blk Dot to try. It was a little packed in there and the store wasn't too big. The line went by quick. I ordered the Iced Spanish Latte and it was on the stronger side but the flavor was excellent.

Blk Dot Coffee is priced a bit high I'd say, but it makes sense considering the area it's located in. I got two hot caramel macchiatos and it rang up about $12, and the cups were fairly small. It was still good, but definitely not the best considering how much it was. The workers were so sweet, and the place itself was small and very clean. If you're looking for a place to sit and do work in, I don't recommend this place at all, as it was very loud when I went in (might be because of how small the building was). Overall it was fine! I was here with a friend as we waited out traffic and it was nice to try a new place.

Personally, I love Vietnamese coffee so when I stumbled upon Blk Dot Coffee that specializes in it, I had to try it! I ordered the matcha VTmatcha and it was great! I still got the hint of Vietnamese coffee but the drink has strong matcha flavor as well!Inside the coffee shop was busy with people chatting or going in and out with their drink orders! There were quite a few people working so they were pushing out drinks pretty quickly which I appreciated! The coffee shop is clean and bright and a nice place to chill but a bit crowded for me as a study spot but I saw a good amount of people on their laptops!

I spotted a line from a distance and knew that must be the coffee shop lol.VTM Tiger ($7) - regular size, Vietnamese coffee with brown sugar syrup and brown sugar jelly. The coffee was strong and although there was brown sugar syrup it wasn't too sweet. The jelly was a nice chew and reminded me of the Japanese style coffee jelly drink. My only comment is the order line and main waiting section was in the same area so it was a bit of a maneuver to exit after ordering.

As a coffee enthusiast, I must say this cup was disappointing. The brew tasted more like watered-down coffee than the bold, flavorful experience one expects. It lacked the depth, complexity, and richness that define a truly great coffee. The potential is there, but it needs a significant boost in both strength and flavor to be taken seriously. With some fine-tuning, it could evolve into something noteworthy, but as it stands, it falls well short of what a good cup should deliver.
