I was told that the Irvine Jamboree location sucked, so we came to Tustin instead. Had a positive experience, and the chicken wings were delicious. Kimchi fried rice though was a bit too salty. Everything was reasonably priced and staff was pretty friendly, and it didn't take more than 10 minutes to get all of our food on a weekday afternoon.

TL;DR don't call in by phone for pickup, they will rip you off When I called in to order I was told minimum wing order was 24 pieces (in store there are actually 2 smaller sizes), could not split flavors (could have order two different flavors as smaller orders), was not told cheese was $2 extra when asking if I wanted it with tteokbokki, etc. Feeling ripped off, will not be backReply to owner: I have already submitted this feedback as requested through two different sites and was directed to a 3rd site that does not allow feedback to be submitted without a picture of a receipt which I did not keep. I left this review here because this process has been so frustrating.

Craving Rosé Ddeok-Bokki?bb.q Chicken is known for their crispy & tasty Korean fried chicken, but I LOVE their Rosé Ddeok-Bokki, which came in a stainless steel bowl and steaming hot!! It's a bowl of chewy-tender rice cakes and fish cakes smothered in a gochujang sauce and cream. A perfect balance of creamy, rich, slightly nutty, sweet, spicy and umami. Optional to add cheese. It's a creamy spicy delight!! It has a small indoor seating so keep that in mind if you have a larger group.

Service was amazing ! Iyana is THE BEST!However, the food is not that great compared to other bbq chicken locations. Chicken was good but the kimchi fried rice was dry. DO NOT get the coleslaw. It tasted really old... Not sure if I would go back, although the service was friendly and great!

bb.q chicken was my pregnancy go-to and now my current postpartum favorite easy meal! We have ordered many times for pickup on the app which is nice and easy. It will update you via text when your food is ready and you can earn rewards. Only once were we notified that our food was ready but was not ready upon arrival at the restaurant. The restaurant is in a shopping center with plenty of free parking. My personal favorite are the boneless wings - soy garlic to be specific. They are so flavorful and perfectly crunchy. I've never been disappointed with the taste or quality. We always order a bigger size to have leftovers and they are still good the next day after throwing them in the air fryer!

BB.Q Chicken is a chain of Korean fried chicken restaurants with 3,500+ locations across 57 countries around the world. This location in Tustin is small with only three tables and mostly take-out and delivery orders. Located in a plaza, you order at the counter and they bring it out.SOY GARLIC ($15.99) - this is one of the flavors you can't go wrong with wherever you go for Korean fried chicken. This was pretty good and the chicken had a crispy exterior but I felt like it could've had more sauce on it because parts of the chicken were bare. 4/5GANGNAM ($15.99) - gangnam style is a black pepper sauce but there was not much flavor other some spice from the jalapeños. I preferred the soy garlic one more. 3/5DDEOK-BOKKI ($12.99) - we were a little weirded out when we saw the dish because it was really soupy and liquidy. The rice cakes weren't super flavorful because the sauce kept running off it and I had to use a spoon to get more flavor. The cheese (an extra $2) helped and there was some spice but this was just meh. 2/5They didn't allow some flavors on some types of chicken and they also didn't allow mixing and matching the flavors you wanted. These two things limit the flexibility in your order which are inconvenient and on top of that the food was just okay.

We ordered take-out online through their app. Super user-friendly and was right on time with the tracking app. Portions are decent, but definitely on the higher end range per serving. I went with Gangnam Style half order; at $16, you get a fair amount of chicken with a small side of¹ Radish. The flavor of the chicken was average. I was expecting a little more flavor, and radishes also fell flat with little to no flavor in them. The spot scratched an itch for me, but I don't think I'd be coming back here for KFC again.

We came in first time and we both were SUPER HAPPY with our chicken and corn salad. With so many sauces to choose, have your brain ready. Small place with handful of tables. I appreciate that they have a sink for customers to wash their hands but unfortunately no restroom. Chicken was crispy crunchy hot and tasty, enuff said.

Swung by on a weekday afternoon and was not busy at all. This plaza can get a little hectic when it's busy but we were lucky to not have to deal with that. The store itself is pretty small but there's three tables inside if you want to eat there. Inside was clean.I got the half chicken spicy galbi which came out to around $17. I had to wait about 15 minutes but was willing to wait for a fresh batch. The chicken was moist and the skin was perfectly hot and crispy. It could have been a little more spicy in my opinion but the flavor was there. Decent portion for the price.Staff there is nice and while there's no restroom there is a sink for you to wash your hands after because they are almost certainly going to messy after you eat.Overall good experience, decent selection and could see myself coming back to try other flavors.

Seeing the small interior of the restaurant from previous reviews, I was concerned that I would have to order takeout or eat outside but was surprised to find all tables empty on a Saturday evening. It's important to note that they only have a sink to wash hands in the corner. I saw four flavors that were advertised on the wall upon entry and decided to order those, the flavors being Golden Original, Honey Garlic, Soy Garlic, and Secret Sauce. I also added on the Kimchi Fried Rice because why not? I had minimal interaction with our server, but she was nice and professional.Given that I ordered 32 pieces, I was not surprised to have waited longer than I usually do. When the food arrived, the chicken looked exactly like it was pictured on the posters. The crunch to each chicken was perfect and I got the Korean Fried Chicken fix I wanted this entire week. The Secret Sauce dish got cold after about 10-15 minutes, and I figured it was a sign for me to end up making everything else to go. If you have to order only one thing from the menu, get the Soy Garlic! I've had Korean Fried Chicken in other restaurants and this one stays unbeatable. After that comes the Honey Garlic which you also can't go wrong with, the Secret Sauce was advertised as having a little bit of spice but I didn't feel a kick, and the Golden Original tasted like any other fried chicken dish I've had. I had a little bit of the Kimchi Fried Rice and it was also okay. All in all, I recommend it! it's a restaurant I plan on returning to once I'm feeling for some more fried chicken.
