Excited to order from bb.Q chicken in Irvine at this location as it's much closer than the Quail Hill one. I called in a phone order for Golden original whole chicken. Was quoted 20 minutes which was just about right. I got there 5 minutes early to pay and use their restroom. The women's toilet was well-stocked but was out of hand soap. They have lots of dine-in tables and outside dining too. I'm quite impressed with the revamp of this plaza to include more outdoor seating like the Woodbury Town Center. They always package the chicken extremely well. Vented to-go boxes keep the hot chicken from absorbing excess steam and stay super crispy. Every order comes with two small cups of pickled white radish. Even after driving to my destination 15 minutes later, my chicken was still hot, crispy and delicious.

The chicken here is crispy. The sauces are pretty basic but get the job done. The cheeseling flavor is one of a kind and I recommend them on the fries! They have a really good rose tteokboki. Orders can take up to 15 minutes after placing them. It's very clean inside and has a handful of tables for four and a few tables for two inside.

My friend and I came here on a Saturday night and got the boneless 8 piece of the secret sauce along with the cheeseling fries, which were both really good! The secret sauce is slightly spicier than the average "sweet garlic/yangnyeom" sauce that a lot of Korean fried chicken places sell, but the flavor is overall pretty similar. I liked how crispy the outside coating was, even with the pretty good amount of sauce that the wings were tossed in. The cheeseling fries were hot and crispy, and had a light cheese powder on top. My only small complaint was that it took a while for our food to come out but we weren't in a rush :). Not sure how the noise level gets when it's busier but for 6 pm on a Saturday it's definitely a good place to catch up and talk with friends without it being too loud or quiet near us.

I came here for lunch and they were offering their lunch combo thats weekdays I believe 11-3pm. It was a awesome deal because you pay $16.99 for fries, 6 boneless wings and a soda can (i think it came with coleslaw too but I don't think I ate that bc I'm not a coleslaw fan. If you come not during their lunch combo special, then you're paying $16.99 for 6 bone in wings or 6 boneless wings only. Their fries was soo delicious and their boneless wings was okay. I would say it was like a large piece of boneless chicken. I also ordered their kimchi fried rice. That was good. Overall, if I was craving their fries & chicken again, I would come here again just for the lunch special. I don't think the 6 boneless wings is worth $16.99It was a good first time experience though trying korean style chicken wings and other korean dishes.

Stopped by here after a long day as this was one of the few places in Irvine that are open late. Upon entering the staff was very nice and seated us quickly and were very helpful with ordering. We ordered the army stew and a whole chicken (half original / half secret sauce). The fried chicken was good. Not the best but definitely no slouch. The original was seasoned well and each bite there was an audible crunch. The secret sauce is a sweet and tangy sauce that was very good. It's not slathered on like at some places but covered each piece throughly. The army stew is mediocre. It's overly salty compared to other places and used deli meat. I also wished there were more vegetables and some plain chunks of napa instead of just the kimchi. If we just ordered the fried chicken I think this would be a 4/5 restaurant but the army stew dragged it down for me personally.

Had a day off midweek - so I decided to go visit my niece and nephew. I was charging my car in the plaza and decided to walk around to see what options I had to bring them for an afterschool snack. Saw this and did some Yelping. Looked like I should give em a try and I'm glad I did. The employee was nice and explained how the menu worked....I got a couple of their lunch combos. 2 with the boneless and 1 with the sandwich. The combos came with a lot of food, 6 pieces of of the boneless each, fries and a drink. The boneless wings were nice sized, the fries were nice and crispy. The chicken wasn't dry or overcooked. The combo with the sandwich (golden original) was good as well, but it was a simple chicken sando. Next time, I'd probably skip the sando and get another boneless wing combo.Unfortunately - no pics of the food. You know how growing kids are lol.

TO-GO EXPERIENCE: I ordered on the phone when I was about 10 min away and I only had to wait about 5 min in the restaurant when I got there. Inside there's lots of seating and it wasn't crowded when I came on a Friday night. Food: I got the rose ddeokbokki because I had tried the one at the Fountain Valley location and loved that one. There is a $2 price increase at this location (maybe it's larger? they came in different tupperware shapes). Pretty steep in price ($19); you can get waaaaay more for the same price at other restaurants. Taste-wise I also liked the one at FV better. This one here is less spicy and the amount of cheese overwhelmed the flavor imo. I know rose tteokbokki isn't going to be as spicy as original, but the FV one had a great balance of spicy and creamy. They also gave half a boiled egg; the one in FV gave a full one. Wouldn't come back for the ddeokbokki, but maybe I'd give their chicken a shot in the future?

It is hot, it is spicy, it is delicious. If I were not driving, I would have ordered cold beer and spicy fried chicken. A truly comforting food for me.

Ordered an 8-pc Soy Garlic Fried Chicken and the Rose Cream Tteokbokki for dinner and both were delicious! I've had many Korean fried chicken and even if this one isn't the best one I've ever had it was definitely a good comfort food; quick go-to. At least with the order I've gotten, the chicken was cooked thoroughly, the sauce wasn't overpowering or overtly sweet, the skin was crunchy and the meat was juicy and moist. The rose cream tteokbokki was just full on YUM; the rice cake was cooked well, not over cooked, the cream was savory and addicting. Nothing bad to say with this order apart from... I'm trying to pluck myself from eating more and save the second half because the prices are steep LOL. Got to savor in 2 separate meals with these instead of 1 haha.

Friendly and quick service. The coating of the original flavor chicken was tasty -- salty with a hint of spice. It was moderately crispy. I would have love more crunch. The chicken was juicy but odd in form/shape. I ordered a small boneless box.Plenty of parking and seating (indoor and outdoor).
