Barrio - Steelcraft Garden Grove

Food was fantastic! Got the pork, chicken and shrimp skewers with rice and Kimchee along with a side of lumpia. Everything has grilled perfectly. The rice was a little more sticky than I like but that is just my personal preference. My friend got the pork belly dish with fried egg and that looked and smelled amazing as well. It's located at the Steelcraft Garden so lots of outdoor seating, picnic table style. Order at their window and they give you a buzzer.

Went here 01/25/2025 for the craft market the property was hosting and we decided to give Barrio a try.Counter service was good, the young lady taking our order was pleasant.The pick up window was less than pleasant. The young lady working that window was curt and borderline rude. I ordered the beef bulgogi plate and paid the extra $2 for the garlic rice upgrade and ordered the grilled onions instead of the pickle option.A pork skewer plate with plain rice.A single chicken skewerAn order of lumpia And a calamansi lemonade The rice that came with the bulgogi did not include the garlic upgrade. The rice itself was gummy and was cooked with too much water. And the grilled onions were not included in my plate.The calamansi lemonade was too sour by far. Everyone I had try the calamansi lemonade made a face indicating that it was over the top in its sour flavor.Overall for the price, so-so customer service, and lack of quality of the food I would not recommend this establishment and will not be returning

Nothing crazy special about this place. It's good.Got the 2 shrimp skewers. 5 comes on each skewer. And got the salad. I asked for half salad and half rice but for some reason, that would be an extra $1.25/$1.50 charge. I immediately couldn't justify why there would be a charge in getting half an hour. The labor for opening up two diff containers is worth nothing. The salad was fresh. The service was meh. Pros on the shrimp is that it's completely deshelled. You don't have to touch the tail and pinch it off to each. Cons on the shrimp - there was so much charred flavor on it that it really makes me question how often they clean their grills

Steelcraft is a cool place to hang out with friends because you can pick what you want to eat out of the selection of restaurants they have and there's tons of seating. I got the pork bulgogi, a side of lumpia, and the strawberry lemonade slushy. Pork bulgogi bowl with rice - The pork was marinated well and had a nice kick of spice to them 9/10Lumpia - delicious and crispy! 8/10Strawberry lemonade slushy - the drink was a bit too sour for a sweetened lemonade 6/10

For $25, you get a plate with 2 skewers, rice , a small side of kimchi, a side of lumpia and a refreshing lemonade. We came early Sunday afternoon, with a couple of these bbq plated already being devoured by patrons. The smell is invigorating. I opted for a 2 skewer plate with the choice of 1 chicken and 1 pork. The pork flavoring was odd, very tangy and sweet, and with a weird aftertaste, I could not get over. The 2 lumps of rice on my plate were mushy and overdone. The chicken was delicious, while the kimchi was a very small portion. Calamansi lemonade and the lumpia are the only dishes I'd recommend. Overall, an overpriced plate with a staple; like rice being overdone, is unacceptable.

Great quality good . I am not so sure why people are complaining about the price . Fast food, a single entree already cost nearly $10 , and food you get at Barrios are freshly made . This review is overdue, I've been coming here for years and food is always delicious . My favorite are the tofu and the pork . Tofu is well marinated not too salty . I highly recommended.

Barrio is one of the healthier options at SteelCraft and I tried the skewer plate with pork and chicken. I also got both rice and salad for an extra $1.25. The skewers were well marinated and grilled, albeit a bit salty for me. I also really liked the salad with fried garlic. The plate was filling, but a bit expensive for what it is. I forgot to take a picture until I had a few bites already sorry!FYI Barrio is located on the right behind the stage!

Healthy and delicious salad with lots of proteins. Sometimes they give way too much proteins haha. You must must must try the garlic sauce. So friggin delicious. Service is great. Located at Steelcraft. Lots of sitting area. Weekend is loud.

Love that it is inside Steelcraft but didn't realize it was until I thought I got lost. The menu was straightforward, ordering was busy and it didn't take long. The liempo was unfortunately sold out! Tried the Bbq pork skewers with rice and atchara, meal and the pork bulgogi as well. Added the lumpia shanghai on the side and the garlic sauce. Overall it was good for the prize, it was really reasonable! I love that there are other food stalls here in case you prefer something else. Love the tables and seats, the kids play zone, and thank you to the gentleman who was entertaining the guests with his music. A large screen tv was also available for the sports fanatics to follow their games. I would definitely recommend this place! There is also adequate parking space so no need to worry about that. Do check them out.

I was craving Filipino food for dinner before getting some Dutch Bros in FV and decided to check Barrio out since it was close by and wanted to finally check out the GG Steelcraft ( been to the LBC and BF ones already). Anyways, I had the 2 BBQ chicken skewers combo plate with garlic rice and 7 piece chicken lumpia. It was so delicious and I definitely will be back. Also, I'm pretty impressed with the Korean/Filipino BBQ concept and may try the beef bulgogi combo plate next time!
