If you're gonna call yourself a bakery, please have some interesting breads to sell. Otherwise, call yourself something else. This is basically a 'fast food' style Persian place. You order your kabobs and they cook it and bring it out to you. The place seats about 15 people and although they do have a couple loaves of these sheet-like breads -- doesn't look like sangak bread from the Persian markets that's for sure. They also have 2 types of sweet breads -- looks more like cake at the cashiers, but other than that, nothing else. What a waste of time.

The worst Sangak I have ever had in my life... It was my first time at this bakery, and I wanted to give it a shot, I am not a picky person at all, but I just couldn't waste the space to keep them in my fridge.

We come here for fresh out of the oven Sangak. My kids love this flatbread and the price is right. Only $2.50 and its fresh as can be. Its pretty large so I'll usually save half for them and make a flatbread pizza with the other half. This bakery is attached to the Mission Ranch Market, in the little food court area. :-)

Barekat is a traditional Persian style bakery that sells fresh hand-made healthy flatbread in both white and wheat variety. I generally like to buy 2-3 breads at a time and use them for sandwiches and at-home meals throughout the week. In addition, Barekat also has AMAZING kabob dinners that can be ordered to enjoy in the dining room or to go. They including Halal beef steak, seasoned ground beef (incredible flavor), chicken tender kabobs, and ground chicken. The meals come with grilled tomato, onion, a radish, and a few sprigs of mint. You may also add a side of saffron rice, which I highly suggest. This wonderfully friendly Persian family-owned business is among my weekly stops and it should be yours as well! ***** 5 Stars!
