Ball Donuts

Menu listed a dozen donuts for $16, so I ordered one dozen to be split evenly into two separate boxes. Upon noticing only five donuts in one box, I mentioned that another donut was missing. The server dismissed my concern and insisted the count was correct. In the rush of a busy morning, I trusted her judgment. However, I was charged $22 instead of the advertised price and later discovered I was indeed missing a donut from the dozen. Ultimately, the service felt rushed and left me both overcharged and with an incomplete order.

You guys are so amazing it is my pleasure to doing business with you guys at your donut shop because of my wonderful good friends like Sophy and her husband Eric and her nephew Ricky too they do a excellent service for there donuts and everything too because I love ball donuts it's right 10 minutes away from Disneyland Resort. You guys are so very amazing too that you guys let me hangout at your donut shop every time when I'm going to work at Thriftyland 102 . Sophy she's the coolest one she's the best too and awesome she's a cool girl too.

i've always lived super close to ball donut but for some reason never went there until yesterday. it's your typical hole in the wall family donut shop that's owned by a husband and wife (sophie and ricky). the place itself is decorated how you would expect a regular old donut shop to be decorated, with fridges of drinks to the left and a counter with utensils, sugar, and creamer on the right. when you walk in you're immediately greeted by a display case of donuts, ranging from raised donuts, cake donuts, cronuts, croissants, and more. behind the case is tv screens of the cost of everything and additional items they sell, including bagel sandwiches and drinks.i looked through their display case trying to decide which donut to get and was originally going to get a blueberry crumb cake donut (which i've never seen any other donut place have before! usually it's just blueberry or just crumb haha) but i opted against it because i recently had my wisdom teeth removed and wanted something softer so i went with my fail-safe donut: a chocolate raised donut. i also got my dad a ham and cheese croissant. the two items costed me $6.25 ($4.00 for the croissant and $2.25 for the donut) which i felt was a little higher than how much it would cost me at another hole in the wall donut shop (not talking about those specialty donut places like friendlys) but i guess with these trying times and rising costs, the pastries were bound to cost more too. $4.00 seemed high for an ordinary ham and cheese croissant but after receiving it, THAT THING IS MASSIVE so i think it's worth the price. my dad said it was good but a bit too much cheese for his liking. really good if you throw it in the airfryer at home before eating! i, on the other hand, really enjoyed their chocolate raised donut. the donut itself is a bit pale in color, but it was SUPPERR soft and pillow! just how i love my raised donuts. i also liked that they didn't glaze the donut before putting chocolate on top. i love a good plain raised donut with a chocolate top -- it was the perfect sweetness and amazingly soft so i had no problems eating it.i returned the next day on my morning walk before work because it's the only place within walking distance that's open and i wanted to get my boyfriend a plain glazed donut (his favorite). he loved it and said it was super soft and perfectly glazed. i also decided to try their sausage ham & cheese sandwich on an everything bagel and it was okay. not my favorite bagel sandwich ever -- the sausage was just warmed up in the microwave and the ham was just regular deli ham that they sell at costco i'm pretty sure. the bagel was also a bit dense and not the softest. i also was not a big fan of the price -- it was $7 for that thing! it's good to eat if you're there already and craving a bagel sandwich but i would not pay that much for an okay bagel sandwich again. for that price i would rather just go to boil + bake in costa mesa for a really good specialty bagel sandwich.overall a very good donut place to stop by if you're in the area. i personally would just stick to buying their donuts and maybe their croissants if i'm in the mood for them. the owners are really nice and friendly but more so with their regulars. they greeted me and provided me with good service but i definitely did not get the same friendly smiley vibe as others did so i would've appreciated being treated as if i were a friend too, even though i don't frequent the place. also something to note is that you have to spend $5 to pay with a credit card!

I came across this place on my way to work one morning in search of a breakfast bagel sandwich, and I was NOT disappointed. I got the sausage, egg & cheese on a cheddar bagel -- AMAZING. I got an iced coffee too while I was there & it was amazing!Not to mention the service is also very personable and quick. I have been recommending this place to all my coworkers and friends now.

Came here looking for a sweet treat and found ourselves buying breakfast sandwhiches too. My husband and I ordered the sausage egg and cheese croissant and the ham egg and cheese with jalapeño croissant. The sandwhiches are pretty big and they cut them in half for you so my husband and I traded half our sandwhiches with each other so we had the best of both worlds. Sandwhiches are made to order so they are FRESH. The donuts you an tell are also made fresh because they're soft, sometimes donut shops use donuts from the previous day and you can tell but not this donut shop. The lady at the counter was super nice and is aware of her customers because we came 1 time previously and she remembered us. I don't know her name but next time we will ask because this is our new breakfast spot.

Pretty solid donuts! Looked on yelp to find donuts nearby to bring into work and came across this place because Krispy Kreme doesn't have maple bars and some of my coworkers wanted these. This place is a little hole in the wall shop and if you're from the OC area, I would say this is close to Seaside in Newport. The donuts are good and reasonably priced and they have a pretty good jalepeno ham and cheese croissant. My only complaint with this though is I wish they would spread the jalepenos out. I've gotten it a few times now and they seem to put all of the jalepenos only in one spot. Anyhow, it's definitely a great place to check out if you need a quick donut fix!

Yeah not so much. Donuts overpriced, not very fresh and generally meh. Too bad because the place is super convenient off Ball Rd and the 57. I guess it didn't help when we got back into the car there was a girl dry heaving by her car door. Still in her pyjamas and not happy she had to wake up, or maybe hadn't slept?!

love coming to this doughnut shop. couple is always friendly and quick with the orders. My daughters enjoy coming here because the service is great and friendly. The doughnuts, coffee, breakfast sandwiches are delicious.

Just got a raisin roll. Hard as a rock. Must have been yesterdays donut. The other 2 donuts were good.

Very friendly service and delicious donuts. Also had the ham and cheese croissants which were also great.
