Steep Thoughts: Florence's Quest for (Her) Perfect Black Milk TeaBlack milk tea: 0.5/2. I got the Ceylon Black Tea Latte, light ice, 50% sweet. For a place that is ostensibly focused on high-quality tea, my drink was very watery. I do taste the quality of the tea, but the earthy and slightly floral notes of the Ceylon tea were rather faint. Additionally, I personally prefer Assam over Ceylon when it comes to black teas. Either way, this did not work for my personal tastes.Other drinks: 0.5/1. There are different milky vs fruity teas, but not a lot of variety in terms of flavors or types of drinks.Ambiance: 1/1. Calming and minimalist decor, with a few tables and chairs. You do need to ask for the WiFi password. Not a bad place to work.Service: 1/1. Order at the counter. Drinks come out quickly.Total: 3/5

Heard such good reviews about Bako Tea House & finally got to try her out since I was in the area! A lot of ppl compare this to Orobae but the drinks aren't as creamy + as tea flavored as I'd like. The aesthetics in here are minimalistic + cute ... but I just wish the tea was more high quality. I loved that there was a self-service kiosk (to avoid waiting for someone to take your order). I always loveee trying new tea spots & I'm so glad I got to try Bako out :-) I will def be back if a friend wants to grab drinks here .. but wouldn't go out of my way to get this on my own

This is a pretty good boba spot in the Orange County area! The first few times I went, my impression was that the drinks were really sweet. However, when I went recently, I actually had a different experience -- it seemed that the drinks had a strong tea flavor and were not too sweet, which is how I like it. The service is fast and the vibe is so aesthetic inside! FAVORITE ITEMS:- Lychee Iced Tea: I could really taste the tea flavor and there were real lychee fruits in my drink. I opted for boba and their boba was pretty chewy and good. Definitely recommend this drink!PARKING: it is located in a residential plaza with retail on the ground level, there is usually some parking in front of the shop. PRICE: typical for boba drinks these days -- maybe around $6, not too pricey for what you get. Overall, I do recommend this place for any boba fans who like the tea-forward taste!

Cute boba shop! It reminds me of Toro Tea in Diamond Bar. I thought the drinks were good at first, but then it started to taste very diluted and much more milkier than I expected. Almost like a milk tea latte vs. milk tea. I prefer more of the tea flavor which I think they lacked. I'm open to trying them again, they seemed like they had a lot of options. Their shop interior was aesthetically nice!

The hype is real, and this place is pretty good!!I walked in around 1pm only one table was occupied, the other one was open. They have two tables and one bench. The front staff are super friendly and explain all the drinks for you. I chose the matcha latte 100% sweet with oat milk because I wanted a lil sweet treat :) If you're asian and you don't want too sweet, get 75%! I just like my matcha sweet. Good quality matcha here too. Super aesthetic place, great for hanging out and they also have wall plugs!

Chic boba place with high quality tea and ingredients! I ordered the Wintermelon Latte (half-sweet) with grass jelly and it was creamy and perfectly sweet, however I did not like how the grass jelly was in very small pieces. It almost felt like they were scraping the bottom of the pan for it and the flavor of grass jelly syrup overwhelmed the Wintermelon flavor slightly. Overall I would come back to the area to try their other teas, but would maybe pass on the grass jelly

Went here on the weekend and it was a little busy but even for how busy it was, our drinks arrived quickly! The staff were super friendly too! The place is nice and is in a cool little spot. However, there isn't much seating so if you plan on coming to hangout be prepared to have a backup spot to hangout at. I got the Peachy Oolong tea with Tapioca Boba at 50% sweetness! It was very smooth and I really enjoyed the peach bits with the tapioca boba! It was a nice combo! It also had a very nice roasted taste to the tea as well! I will definitely come back to try another drink or even get this one again.

Clean aesthetics tea house with warm lightings. I got a Phoenix Ooling Milk Tea? and it was the signature drink. I'd say it's nothing special as the tea is not as strong as I'd expected considering this is a tea house, but I like it. The drink was $7 ish but the cup is bigger than most stores. I'd say it's a nice place to hang out with your friends as they don't have lots of seatings to study and 30 mins limited parking. Super nice staff and clean store tho! Might come back if i'm ever in the area!

Yum! I got the phoenix milk tea, I think 25% and I enjoyed it! It had a strong tea flavor than my boyfriend's, which was a higher sweetness level. I think it was a nice and clean flavor that was also authentic! It's in a unique location but we didn't have issues getting a spot in front. The service was average!
