Bakery 101

I would describe this bakery shop as a lovely place to get your cakes and cookies and actually any trinket that you want that they create. Like everyone said before this is a great place for Matcha cookies and Matcha cake. It does take a little bit if you want same-day service I called in and I would say about six hours later I was able to pick up my cake for a birthday it was really great in terms of service and in terms of their accommodation to my need. The workers speak Mandarin and they also only take cash if purchases are under $10 which are most of the cookies and some slices of cake unless you are purchasing multiple cakes like me. They have cake, pops, croissants, and many variety of cakes for you to buy à la carte. I will say that the price is a bit higher than what I'm used to in San Diego, but the quality is up there so expect to pay a little bit more but also know that it is quite good.

We went here last year to pick up my mother-in-laws birthday cake and we knew we had to come again this year.They are very friendly and quick, it's a smaller and quiet shop. We also figured a Japanese Cheesecake slice wouldn't hurt us... and it was so good! We enjoy coming here for our baked goods!

I love their Black Forest Cake. It's so moist and the cherry filling is sooo yummy. It's a bit pricey. But it's worth it. The bakery is very small. Only one staff member (or the owner or the manager???) is working when I usually go there. There is no place to eat inside. But there are tables and chairs outside the bakery.

Splitting my rating here. I got a personal size tiramisu which was pretty good. I also got matcha cookies because I love matcha and I love cookies but I did not love the matcha cookies. I actually threw them away. I got a raspberry cream cheese croissant which looks delicious but I'm saving it for breakfast. Their cakes looked beautiful. Maybe that is their niche.

My new favorite bakery! The shop is family-run with the kindest workers (they speak mandarin too) who make the most delicious & not too sweet cakes. We absolutely LOVE their matcha cake with matcha cream + strawberry bits, but honestly we have enjoyed all of their flavors so far - taro, chocolate, mocha, & mango to name a few. Their roll cake slices are also amazing. Although their cakes are on the pricier side (~$50 for 6in & ~$80 for 8in), I personally feel like it's worth it. Their taste & quality are unmatched to other bakeries in the area & we never get tired of eating their cakes. You really can't go wrong with whatever you order since the sponge is always soft & fluffy, and the cream is light but flavorful. They also have a few breads and cookies available in the shop. Tip: Make sure to call them at least 3 days in advance to reserve your cake since they don't typically have all the flavors on display! I really appreciate that they were able to accommodate for my last minute order in the past, but it really depends on how busy they are. I usually see tres leches, strawberry shortcake, and tiramisu flavors for those stopping by on short notice. The shop itself does not have any seating, but there are plenty of tables & chairs outside.I highly recommend ordering your next cake from here! They occasionally have slices ready too so you can always stop by to sample some flavors before getting a whole cake.

I called to make an order and they were so easy to work with, they took my order and information and texted me a picture of the receipt. I ordered the matcha cake and it was ready when I got there. The cake was beautiful and the taste itself was a light matcha taste with a soft cake with whipped matcha cream that wasn't overly sweet. I'll be going here for more cake orders in the future!

I called in a day or two before Christmas searching for a Yule log and luckily they had a couple left! Upon coming in, it was a quaint bake shop, but super busy for the holidays. I think that says a lot about their hard work and quality. During the wait, they gave mini slices of their strawberry cake as a sample and it was so fluffy! I brought the Yule log to my girlfriend's family party and they loved it. Easily the prettiest cake there and the best tasting. Definitely will be back

I absolutely love this small family owned business! I came here in search of the best Tres Leches cake in Orange County for a birthday party, and alas I may have found it! The flavoring of the tres leches was very unique, and they can also add different types of fruit to your liking. What sold us was the chocolate tres leches cake, what a unique twist. I had never even heard of this before. We could not decide between them, so got both sheet cakes! They were both a hit at our party.This location is small, but very clean and organized, and the people working were very friendly and patient. There is a wide variety of unique flavors of cakes and pastries available. After I tried the other locations and decided on this one, I text the number they had available for orders and had everything set up for the party. The pickup of the cakes went very smoothly, they even helped me carry the cakes to my car. They give you detailed instructions of how to make sure the cake does not get damaged during transportation.I already had a friend that tried it at our party and ordered a cake. I will definitely be back to try some more treats!

Obsessed with their taro cake and the matcha cookies... all their small pastries are exceptional... I literally come here twice or three times a month... best dessert spot in OC
