I grew up eating taho from the motherland and finding this treat around here, a good one at that, has been a struggle. Baked has finally fulfilled my decades of craving for this wonderful creation of soy pudding AKA tofu, sago pearls, and syrup - lots of it!A bit on the pricey side here but hey, at least it's now within my reach. Their cupcakes are pretty good, again pricey, but also too sweet for my liking. Ube seems to be the popular choice. Lots of other cool treats available but truth be told, I'm content with their taho and that's it.

I've been to the Rancho Cucamonga location and was excited when this opened up because it was closer to me. The staff here was not so friendly and seemed annoyed when I was trying to order. Maybe it was an off day but eh. I love the concept of Filipino flavored cupcakes. They are great, they have a wide selection of flavors. However, the Leche Flan Halo Halo didnt have flavor, all I could taste was the milk and Mais con yelo didnt taste authentic. Overall, its okay.

I heard about Baked Dessert Bar when they opened in Rancho Cucamonga years ago but I never had the opportunity to visit and so when I heard of their opening at the District I was pretty excited! I have been on keto before so I appreciated a bakery that had keto options. I have tasted a few of their mini cupcakes, my son had their milo cookies and creme and we went home with their ube in a jar. Their customer service is always helpful when we come. I do wish that they offered keto options all the time. During the few times that I visited, they either run out or am told it needs to be pre-ordered.

Okay WOW. I LOVE ME SOME FILIPINO REPRESENTATION! What a large collection of Filipino desserts (halo halo to taho and a ton of filipino flavored cupcakes). There were so many things to choose from but I opted for a Ube Cheesecake cupcake, a Honey Lemon Calamansi cupcake, and Ube Milk Tea with boba. It was so difficult to choose cuz I wanted to try every cupcake flavor! First things first...wow these cupcakes are baked to perfection! SO MOIST (I know, not the best word but what else can I say?) I was surprised at how much I liked the Ube cupcake because I've been a bit tired of Ube flavored things. But this Ube cupcake had the PERFECT ube flavor and the cream cheese in the frosting provided an awesome tang. The Honey Lemon Calamansi cupcake was also delicious and you could taste the calamansi! Overall, the lemon was stronger than the calamansi, but still a great cupcake. Boba was SOLID and the tapioca balls themselves were done really well.I'm definitely coming back to try more flavors!

I wandered into this dessert shop today and was delighted to encounter one at all, because it is hard to find good dessert in the SoCal area. They offer drinks and coffee in addition to cupcakes, cookies, and macarons. They offered free samples of cupcakes and I was really grateful to have tasted some of their cupcake flavors before making my purchase. They were putting out fresh cookies while we were there. Their cookies and cream cookie looks delicious and unique, while their chocolate chip was very thick and decadent. I so wanted to love all of the baked goods, but unfortunately, I found them to be unenjoyable to my taste, as did my friends. The cupcakes themselves are to die for. They are so moist, flavorful, and melt in your mouth. A few of them also have fillings on the inside which was a lovely surprise and added layer of flavor. I wish that the cream would have been buttercream or frosting instead of a whipped creamesque topping. The flavor was okay, but the texture threw me off and I ended up eating the cakes and leaving the topping which is rare because I typically love frosting. I felt the same way about the macarons unfortunately. The cookie parts of the macarons were perfect in all technical aspects, except I think there could have been less cookie in proportion to the filling. I had the same qualm with the macaron because I did not enjoy the light whipped texture, but it could definitely be enjoyed by others. The employees were very sweet and gracious. Overall, this is a cute shop to grab and enjoy a sweet treat.

I was so excited to see this closer to home. I used to buy tons of their treats when I'd visit Rancho Cucamonga when they had their $1 mini cupcake specials before they moved to Victoria Gardens. So glad to have a Filipino inspired bake shop in this area. Lots of new things on the menu since I last tried them. Full offerings of taho in diff flavors & varieties of halo halo. The cupcake flavors seem to be just like how it was before except for their new KETO / VEGAN / GF options. I was so excited to try these. Keto cupcakes - Tres Leches & Ube. Let sit in room temp for 10 mins per their instruction. Still was a little too dense and the frosting was chunky. Flavors were good. 3/5 for those. The variety of mini cupcakes - ube putobumbong (?), pandan, ube cheesecake, ube, turon, & yema brulee. My favorites were the yema brulee and the turon (which has been my fave ever since). The rest of the cupcakes were not as moist and didn't taste as fresh. Personally, the mini cupcakes are the perfect ratio of frosting to cake. Overall, just okay. I will comeback for the taho & halohalo and maybe try the cupcakes again, hopefully it's a better baking day.

Great spot in The District for desserts and drinks! I like their wide variety of cupcakes in fun flavors like pandan, ube, and turon. My favorite is definitely the ube one because it has a strong ube flavor to it, while the pandan one is a little too light for me. The place feels a bit empty cause it's so big, but there's still plenty of desserts to choose from. Service is very friendly! I ordered an ube milk tea no ice and when the girl working there was done, she felt the cup looked a little empty. She asked me if I was willing to wait a bit longer for her to make more so that my cup was full. Thought that was real sweet of her!

The buko pandan cupcake was very good! I also tried my friend's turon cupcake which tasted more like jackfruit than banana. She said her ube taho was tasty. The matcha milk tea was not good at all.. It's funny because I asked the cashier if she liked it and she said yes.The ube crinkle was alright but I expected it to be warm and it wasn't. I believe it is just taken from the case that's displayed next to the register - the powdered sugar is also a bit absorbed so you can tell it's not the most fresh.I had high hopes for this place, but it didn't seem too popular since not many customers came for the hour my friend and I talked there. It seems relatively new so maybe they just need time to improve.

I don't have the biggest sweet tooth but I do love baked goods so I was excited to try this place! I ordered half a dozen mini cupcakes for I think $15, full size ones were 6 for $25. The mini ones are maybe about 2-3 bites max, it's good to get if you just want to try all the flavors like me. My favorite flavors the ube ones, the flavor is so decadent and I really enjoyed it! My sister's favorite is their pandan one, I loved the coconut flakes on top of this one. I wasn't a big fan of their fruity cupcakes like strawberry cheesecake/turon(banana) and wouldn't get those again, but would definitely recommend their nuttier ones like ube and pandan! The prices are kinda expensive but I like to think of these as specialty cupcakes as they have some cool and unique flavors. Not sure if I would go out of my way to come here but I'd come back if I was in the area!

To keep it short, the cupcakes are good, but they could be great if the flavors were stronger and the bakery embraced more Filipino flavors. The cupcakes here have all the qualities you would want. Moist, dense, and not too overly sweet. But the cupcakes can be a lot better if they had more flavor. For example, the Turon cupcake (which is supposed to be "brown butter banana cupcake filled with banana jackfruit compote and frosted with jackfruit cream cheese"), barely has any compote or jackfruit flavor. It tasted more like an average banana cupcake with cream cheese frosting. They're also not the prettiest cupcakes. On the website, the birthday cake cupcake has a piece of rainbow candy on it but that is not present in the bakery. Also, there seems to be limited options for cupcakes. The online ordering system for this store doesn't include a lot of the other interesting flavors on the website (regardless of the day) like passionfruit, boba milk tea, thai tea flan, matcha green tea.
