Bagels & Brew

Well, today is the day that I realized my favorite bagel is a cheese and jalapeño topped one. With the addition, of the garlic and herb cream cheese - This was my choice this morning. This combination could've been hit or miss. For some reason, all the flavors together hit the ball out of the ballpark! It was absolutely delicious to me. Each family member chose a different variety of bagel and cream cheese too. There were many choices. Service was patient and friendly. The ambience, atmosphere, environment, the vibe was very pleasant and outside seating was very inviting as well.

Let me be honest, I was highly influenced to go here simply for the fact that they were offering Halloween bagels during spooky season and ya girl is a spooky girl BUT the bagels hit the freaking spot! The service was as fast as they could be, they were heavily busy when we had gone. I would say there was ample seating inside and outside but we had gone when some type of sports practice had ended so they were swamped to say the least. We eventually found seating and let me tell you, both the bagel sandwiches we got were so good! I had to get a few bagels to take home to my nieces and nephew but when my fiancé went to pay, they only had 1 left but right before he turned back around to come tell me, out comes some fresh ones! This is one of the few bagels spots that I know of that serves the bagels fresh all day long. The service was great, the bagels were so yummy. We'll definitely be back when we're in the area.

I love working right by Bagels & Brew. It's my go to for breakfasts or lunches. The staff is all really great and friendly. They have ample seating and a super nice patio. I love the picture on the wall of the employee holding the portafilter. This is one of my favorite businesses in LF.

It's bagel shop and the bagel is not good. Bagel was hard and did not taste fresh. Granted it was my only visit. Also got a mouthful of coffee ground in my coffee.

I don't remember how many times I had breakfast here when I lived in OC. Now that I live up in LA, I've been here twice. To explain so you don't think I'm whack - my best friend from GA was visiting. And this was one of the spots that I'd meet up with his family for breakfast before he moved away. You can say we're just keeping with tradition on his visits back to CA.Parking. Not an issue. Huge parking lot. Free. Never had an issue with parking. Not once. Service is friendly and patient. I say patient because there's usually a line. And you know how people can be making up their minds on what to get. I usually get the same thing. Cheddar Jalapeno Bagel, with cream cheese, toasted. Simple and is just enough for me. No table service. Get in line. Order. Find a seat if you're dining in. Then wait for your order to be delivered. Bus your own table and grab your own refill in the beverage station. I'd say see pics for the food but other than bagels, I've not tried anything else on the menu. I'm not a bagel connoisseur but I enjoy them here, their selection of bagels and cream cheese too. Like a previous review I just posted, I'll mention that this place is in OC and I live in LA. I won't make a trek just to come here but will do anytime and every time I'm meeting up with friends or family in OC and they suggest it. .

It's become tradition for me to stop by when visiting my OC friends. The menu is extensive and can sometimes get overwhelming, but overall great bagels - especially love the avocado sandwich. Line usually moves fast.

I came here on a Tuesday at 2:30pm. Four of us walked in and there was no one in line. We waited to be served for four minutes and no one greeted us or even acknowledged us. Then, several people started walking in. A lady cashier skips our register where we were waiting and helps the other customers who just walked in. So, we left the register we were standing at and got to the end of the long line where the lady cashier went. As soon as we did that, a male cashier goes to the cash register we were standing at all of this time and asks if he could help the next customer. Wow!!!! We decided to walk out and not patronize this business because of their poor customer service.

The bagel sandwiches are simply criminal!! They spare nothing and add it all. 6:39 am open time means breakfast on the go rocks. My favorite is the salted bagel with maple cream cheese now if they o ly sacred Irish coffees on Saturdays. Yeah baby

Just moved to Lake Forest last week. My best friend and I came here to celebrate my move and for my first food experience in the area it was awesome. Amazing customer service, which seems to be a thing of the past anymore, spot on recommendations. The store was spotless even on a busy Friday morning. Our food was perfect. Perfect flavor, perfect portions, perfect pricing. We left happy and I bookmarked this shop. I will definitely be back to try that sandwich you guys also suggested! Thank you for a warm welcome to your city.

Love the jalapeño and cheddar bagel! Also, the fresh squeezed orange juice is so good (sells out quick though)!!
