Whenever it's a bit chilly, I always crave the comfort of a savory, hot noodle soup dish, and the Beef Noodle Soup at Bafang Dumpling perfectly fits the bill! This was my 3rd visit and everything was just as delicious and satisfying as I remembered. The Beef Noodle Soup broth was complex, savory, and good to the very last sip. The noodles had nice texture, and the beef and daikon chunks were tender and packed with flavor! The signature dumplings were also very satisfying, especially when mixed with their hot sauce and garlic soy sauce. So good!Last but not least, the fried pork chop is a must order, especially if you like five spice - the breading is seasoned so well and the pork is so tender and juicy. I'm obsessed!Service was quick and friendly, and the ambiance is casual but clean and cozy. Thanks for another delicious visit that's also great bang for buck!

This is the perfect spot to grab a light lunch before stopping by Heytea located in the same plaza ;) It's very casual: you order at the counter, sit at a table, and pick up your food when they notify you it's ready!I loveee how crispy their potstickers are, and while my favorite is their signature, I can see why some people think it's a little on the bland side, haha. My husband loves the kimchi and pork, which definitely has more flavor, but I personally find the kimchi flavor too overwhelming, lol. Their spicy wonton is decent, but the sauce isn't as delicious and addicting as DTF, haha. Their bafang pork chop was actually a little disappointing, it came out soggy/not crispy, and the flavor definitely leaned toward the sweeter side. I got a strong hint of cinnamon (?) and I just would've preferred a more savory and crispy pork chop. Their wonton soup was surprisingly delicious and maybe even my favorite thing here! The soup was SO freaking hot though I burned my tongue, but it was worth it honestly LOL. The soup feels light, but not bland, and it had a generous amount of wontons. It's the perfect dish to have on a cold day! Service is fine, the workers aren't that friendly, but whatever, lol. I wish the interior was bigger and had more tables, but thankfully most people eat their food and leave, and don't linger around, haha. So even when it's really busy and all the tables are taken, usually tables open up relatively quickly. I love stopping by here for a quick snack or light lunch and can't wait to come back!

Stopped by to try this place at around 11 am on a Sunday after a 3 hour hike. I was hungry and craving this style of food. I asked the cashier what's his recommended menu item to get for a first time and he suggested the #2 meal which had 12 potstickers and a wonton soup cup.The potstickers had a nice crisp to them but were extremely oily. After eating half the plate, I noticed a bed of oil at the bottom. I also found the flavor to be nothing special and had to use their sauces which helped enhance the flavor.6/10The wonton soup wasn't bad, but was also oily. The broth tasted pretty good, kinda reminded me of pho broth which I love. Flavor of the wontons were barely present. 7/10Overall, the meal was filling, but I probably wouldn't come back. If I do, I'd try one of their noodle dishes.

This is a popular dumpling chain in Taiwan that has been opening locations in So Cal and I'm so happy that there's one in Irvine now. It's in the busy 99 Ranch plaza so parking can be challenging. But they have online ordering so if you time it right, you might find parking just in time to pick up your food. The restaurant is clean and bright with tables for dining in, although a lot of people do take out.My go-to is the Combo #8 ($16.50) with Chili Pepper Fried Chicken and Old Fashioned Noodles. The chicken is crispy and reminds me of Taiwanese popcorn chicken. It pairs well with the chili sauce which is what gives it a spicy kick. The noodles have a subtle sesame soy flavor, but are good for eating with the saltier food. The combos come with a drink but they don't have teas here yet sadly.Another favorite are the Signature Pork Dumplings ($12/ 12pcs). They're juicy and filling. The Signature Potstickers ($12/ 12pcs) are also not bad. But they're thin and if you take them to-go they don't stay crispy. Between the two, the dumplings are better. I like to buy a bag of their frozen ones to have at home. This is a great place for Taiwanese comfort food and is a good value if you're looking for cheaper eats.

I would frequent this store in Hong Kong so I was excited to have it again in CA. It was quick and delicious! You order at the counter and they give you a beeper , so when your order is ready you come back up to the counter and pick it up. There is a station where you make your own sauce which I like. I got 12 dumplings for about $12(including tax). I'll definitely be back!

I am so surprised how good this is. The packaging is just perfect, no leaking nor sipping of the oil etc. The smell of the food is very similar to what you get in Taiwan. First trying the vegi dumplings (bit more expensive than meat ones), and it not bad at all. Potstickers are looks and tastes the same. Wonton soup is so good. Service is American standard, very perceptional, and did not ask for tip when you use your credit card.

Loved Bafang Dumpling! I can't eat red meat but I dropped by here with my friends so I got the Bafang noodles and chicken and corn dumplings. The server was very helpful and patient when I asking about different menu items bc of my dietary restrictions. Our food came out relatively fast (5-10 min) and there was plenty of seating inside. Overall I highly recommend this spot for dumplings and noodles and I'd love to come back to try the different options even though they're limited for me personally. Had a wonderful experience.

A solid dumpling chain from Taiwan. You can dine in or take out, or even buy their frozen dumplings. The menu is straight forward enough and there are several combo options. We came on a Saturday for lunch at the beginning of October, and the place was busy. But the line moved quickly and the cashier was very patient with everyone. We got 2 combos- combo 8 (pork chops, dry noodles and a drink, $15.50) and combo 7 (dry noodles and mini wonton soup, $12.75). We e also got some potstickers and a box of mixed appetizers. Be sure to get the sauces from the dispensers, the garlic soy sauce is the bomb! Bafang is great for a quick simple meal or take out. Price is fair and on point. Service is quick. The building is new so it's clean. Parking can be a bit challenging depending on the time of day/week. I'm definitely adding this place to my take out rotations.

Really enjoyed this casual spot for dumplings! You can choose from a variety of sets or get frozen dumplings to take home. I got the set with potstickers and hot and sour soup -- both of which were good. The potstickers were light and crispy, so even though the portion looks large, it's light enough that you can finish the whole meal. Lots of seating, a sauce bar you can help yourself to, and decent parking.

This is a fantastic quick-service restaurant that feels like the fast food version of dumplings, noodles, and soup--but with elevated quality and flavor. I visited with my parents and we tried several dishes: Combo 1 (12 signature dumplings with corn soup), Combo 7 (signature noodles with wonton soup), a side of pork chop, and spicy wontons. Every single dish was absolutely delicious and bursting with flavor! The restaurant itself is spotless, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were incredibly kind and knowledgeable, patiently answering our questions about the menu.Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience, and I would highly recommend this spot to anyone craving authentic and flavorful comfort food.
