FYI there's a jalapeño in the center (so remove if you can't handle spice).

If you value quality over quantity, this is the place. The viet coffee was strong and not too sweet. The pate chaud here is definitely a step above most places. Buttery bread and tender meat that's not too salty. If you catch them fresh out of the oven, they're 11/10.My mom likes this place a lot and she said it reminded her of the pastries and food back in France. C'est tres bien. Will definitely be back to try the rest of the stuff.

Croissant $4A little under $4, but for the price and size, well worth it. It's even good room temperature, but warmed is even better (they'll ask if you want it warmed up). The flavor by itself is salty and buttery enough and definitely not bland. I still think this croissant is Paris level but maybe better in terms of flavor lolHam and cheese croissantHaven't had these in a min, but there's also a béchamel sauce inside with the ham and cheese. Quite indulgent , but worth every penny.ChouquettesLike an unfilled cream puff covered in large sugar crystals. Addictive and airy.Service is pretty good depending who you get :)This place is still consistent even after all these years! They accept card and will charge 50¢ if the order is under $10

I've been hearing about their Banh Mi Pate Chaud for a while and finally had the chance to stop by.The Banh Mi Pate Chaud was very flaky, which I loved, but the BBQ pork inside was dry. I love both banh mi and pate chaud, so I was excited about the concept, but it felt rather lacking. It has so much potential, so I'm willing to give it another try--maybe I just got an off one this time.I also tried the Vietnamienne sandwich on a croissant, and I ended up liking this one more than the pate chaud. Their croissants are deliciously airy and buttery, and the combination worked well.I'd love to come back and try their popular croissant pastries, as they seem to be a standout. Parking was easy, with an almost empty lot, though there's a $0.50 charge for card payments under $10. Service was good, but just a heads-up--there's no seating available.Overall, Au Coeur De Paris has potential, and I'm looking forward to exploring more of their menu next time.

Randomly stop while I was getting lottery next door, found my self coming here 2 days in a row. I love the pate chaud, wasn't dry, flakey and buttery with good amount and tasty pork meat. Paid $4.50 for 2 pate chaud. I also got the almond croissant which was good also, not too sweet, just the right amount of sweetness.

Au Coeur De Paris is a local bakery specializing in pate chaud and croissant banh mis! This shop is located in a plaza with a good amount of parking spots. Inside, there is no seating so this is definitely more of a grab and go spot. Keep in mind that this shop is only open from 7am-1pm while supplies last! They have a good selection of different pastries, cakes, and sandwiches. I opted to try the croissant banh mi and it did not disappoint! The croissant provided a nice switch up from the usual banh mi with its soft, buttery, airy texture. Overall, this spot is definitely more of a hole in the wall gem. All of the staff here are very friendly, quick, and efficient. Come stop by to support and try some of their unique banh mis!

Passed by here on my way to work (because I was tired of traffic and got hungry) but dang, one of the best spontaneous decisions I ever made. I got their popular pate sandwich and it's popular for a reason! Made freshly when I ordered it, the bread was nice, toasty and flakey, the meat was juicy and tender and the condiments complemented the main ingredients beautifully. A small sandwich, but each bite packed so much flavor. 12/10, will definitely come back again to try their other pastries and drinks.

During my visit in Cali I got to try these pate Chaud banh mi. My cousins bought them as breakfast for the family. The foodie in me had my eyes wide open when I opened the box and unwrapped them. I've never had something like this before. This beautiful creation is the perfect combination of Pate Chaud and Banh Mi. The pastry was so flakey with a nice crunch to it. And sandwiched between was the assorted Vietnamese hams with picked veggies and the pate chaud liver paste filling. Service was great. They packed about 10 of these sandwiches and were ready upon pick up.

I happen to drive by this bakery quite often so I was surprised it was here. Definitely a hidden gem, this small bakery offers French-Vietnamese options. The display case was small but hosted some familiar French pastries that were well made and a treat for the eyes. We ordered two of their pate chaud banh mis which were really good. Got a pain au chocolate which reminded me of France when I heated it up. The ham and cheese croissant was good as well. We also got two Vietnamese iced coffees which I thought were standard. My hubby thought there was an aftertaste to it but I couldn't tell. Service was good as well and I'm happy to support a local business.

Stopped by right before our trip home. Had to sneak inside because it was right at 1pm when they were closing. Man, did it smell so good inside. We had 2 of the coffees, which were strong -- 5 shots of espresso each! The creme puffs were so light and fluffy, mmmm. We will def be back when we are in town again. Jake n kev

A hidden gem tucked away in the rough. Located in an older, unassuming strip mall, this spot is an excellent choice for a quick, on the go breakfast/ snack and coffee! Known for the pate chaud for a good reason. Always fresh, hot and crispy, these little savory puff pastries have a juicy, savory meatball inside.Take it up a notch and try the banh mi pate chaud! Friggin' delicious! Basically a pate chaud cut in half and filled with your traditional banh mi filings like cold cuts, pickled and fresh greens. All wrapped up in a perfect 4-bite size package! We've also had their savory croissants, pastries and creme brulee, all of which were great. Service is also very nice. Although there's no seating and it's a grab and go type spot, you can tell how sweet everyone there is and the relationship they've established with their regulars.
