Super bummed! 5 out of our last 7 dinners here have been a fail. I can't talk my wife into coming to Asada again. She used to love their chicken tortilla soup. But, she won't get it anymore. One time it was so salty it was not edible. One time it had a bunch of bones. Another time it had a big hunk of skin in it. Tonight, she ordered chicken tacos and was served carnitas tacos. She again didn't eat. Rice was refrigerator cold. Refried beans were cold. Service was terribly slow. I shared with the server that my wife ordered chicken tacos and he brought out carnitas. He was apologetic, but still charged us for the wrong meal that she didn't eat. No chance to order something else because it took him 45 minutes to come and check on us. Super bummed...no more date nights at Asada.

Always consistently good ... great service and Happy Hours. Margaritas are the bomb and the chips and salsa are always fresh and hot. Love the location perfect before a movie night or shopping at the outlets.

The people up front did not take down names and forgot to seat people. It was quite disorganized. i had to flag the people in front to let them know that I was still waiting and they forgot about me. I had to flag people down to take my order but because it was busy it's understandable. Edible food overall. Vegetarian fajitas were edible but they used way too much lemon so it was quite sour. The free chips and salsa were good. The salsa was served warm. The moist towel at the end was a nice touch. It was quite loud but the Latin music in the background was nice. Blaze Pizza was next door which is more affordablebut I'm glad I chose this place because it's more lively but the overall service was not up to par.

Surprisedly a good place to come across when in San Clemente! The atmosphere felt fancy and the service was friendly. The price is a little pricey but had good portions. I loved all the different flavors each dish had. The asada steaks are pretty thin and it was hit or miss if you're a rare steak person.

Had a business meeting and it was my first time here so I was a bit skeptical as I have this thing about overpriced Mexican spots. But boy I was wrong. Service was awesome, the ambiance is great with unique decor, and the food was pretty darn good. I got the filet mignon tacos and I would order them again if I'm ever back in the area. Even the rice and beans had a different style and taste than most spots and both were also delicious

We stopped here on our way back home for a late night dinner. We had no idea this place had been here for the last 4 years. It was very busy. We waited for about 1/2 hr before we were seated. We were seated in the back patio area. I ordered the blackened halibut taco plate and my husband ordered the enchilada plate. It was all delicious and filling. Service was great too. There's plenty of parking at the San Clemente Outlet. Just make reservations before you go since this place was packed given how late it was.

My recent happy hour experience at Asada in San Clemente was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the vibrant atmosphere. Our waiter, Fernando, was an absolute gem. His warm welcome and attentive service set the tone for an unforgettable evening. He even surprised us with a complimentary basket of warm, crispy chips and a vibrant salsa - the perfect start to our meal. While the happy hour menu might be concise, every dish and drink sounded incredibly enticing. I opted for the "Flaca Loca" margarita, and it was a masterpiece. Perfectly balanced, it was the ideal accompaniment to my delectable chicken taquitos. These taquitos were a symphony of textures and flavors. The shells were gloriously crispy, encasing a succulent chicken filling. Topped with a generous layer of melted cheese, fresh lettuce, ripe tomatoes, and a drizzle of creamy crema, each bite was an explosion of deliciousness.Asada in San Clemente is a must-visit for anyone seeking a vibrant and flavorful happy hour experience. With exceptional service, delicious food, and a lively ambiance, it's the perfect spot to unwind.

I was wanting to try out a Mexican food restaurant when in California so we picked out Asada Cantina & Kitchen. We went here for lunch & it was SO GOOD! On Sundays they serve brunch until 3pm so my boyfriend ordered the chilaquiles. He said these were the best chilaquiles he's ever had. I told him to order the eggs over medium. He said they were still good but not as yolks as he wanted. Likely next time he would order them over easy though for some gooey egg yolk. I ordered a traditional hand shaken margarita. It was really good & a reminder that we were not in Utah anymore! The cup this came in was so cute as well. For lunch I ordered the Cheese enchiladas with the roasted tomatillo sauce instead of the spicy ranchero sauce. I loved this green tomatillo sauce! It had really good flavor. The cheese enchiladas were cooked to perfection. The rice said it was a cilantro rice so I was a little worried because I don't love cilantro, but it wasn't very cilantro like at all, which I appreciated. We loved the chips that came out with the chips & salsa. My boyfriend loved the salsa but I wished it was more tomatoey. It was kind of too spicy for me as well. At the end of your meal, they bring you a warm cloth to wipe your hands off with. It was so refreshing. Service was great & we loved the atmosphere here! We were raving about it afterwards & definitely recommend this place to everyone!
