Very homey and cozy cafe with a decent amount of indoor seating. You order at the counter and they'll deliver your food when it's ready. Lots of cakes, pies, cookies, and bread available for sale too. Staff was very nice and I liked the interesting variety of cuisine on the menu. Chicken baguette sandwich: it's actually Cambodian which is cool. I think the difference between this and a Vietnamese one is the lack of pate but it was very tasty. Baguette was fresh out of the oven and they did not skimp on the chicken. Honey beet latte: super healthy. Fresh beet juice, some honey and milk. Very unique. Carrot cake: cute, moist, plenty of cream cheese frosting and walnuts. Delicious and a perfect size.Clam chowder: big potato chunks and lots of clam. Real ingredients and they didn't use any of that heavy creamer stuff so it was easy on my stomach. Chicken pot pie: more crust than chicken filling but still tasty. It was their last one on a Saturday at lunch so definitely popular. Crispy outside, creamy big chicken chunks on the inside. We talked to some regulars who were eating their way through the menu and I definitely want to do the same. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for a nice hearty meal.

... Absolutely adorable place, with fantastic home made farm to table food! Great staff and we met Esther when she came around to check to see if everything was ok... I ordered the special of the day, Chicken Pot Pie and a side of Brussel Sprouts (my new favorite place to order these!!!) DEEEELICIOUS!!!! My friend loved on the mini Chinese Chicken salad. Everything was fantastic and I love the cozy dining area with "help yourself" coffee refills, ice water, condiments and to-go boxes. More restaurants are doing this now and I think it's a great idea! Will definitely grab more friends and come back again! Thanks Esther!!

This family-run restaurant/cafe kept showing up on my yelp app. Didn't think much about it until hubby and I were looking for a coffee shop/cafe that wasn't an IHOP or Denny's. So we tried Amarith out.The location is easy to get to with ample parking. We went for a late lunch on the weekend, worried we'd have to wait a long time. That wasn't the case! You order and pay before seating yourself. Warning: The menu is extensive and you might have a hard time deciding what to eat! The staff are great at helping with menu suggestions. Plus they are warm and welcoming.Hubby had their crispy chicken sandwich with fries. He's tried many a crispy chicken sandwich in his day, but he was adamant that this was the best he's ever had. The chicken does not sit under a heat lamp- it is cooked to order. The ingredients were fresh and the bun was delicious and fresh. The fries were delicious and cooked to perfection. I decided to try the chicken and waffles. It is a good sized portion and could easily be shared as it is satisfying ! The waffle was SCRUMPTIOUS. The chicken was piping hot, juicy and delicious. The meal was three very generously sized chicken strips, clearly breast meat. You can tell the chicken is properly brined prior to breading and deep frying. It was not greasy. The savoury chicken with the maple syrup on the waffle was the perfect combination!I'd like to add that I had a salted caramel latte. They offer decaf for those of us who need to consume less caffeine. The drink was absolutely the best latte I have ever had. It was so well balanced!! The dining room is clean, welcoming, and beautiful. People of every background were happy to be there. We certainly were! Ester, the youngest in her family, came and checked on us to assure we were well taken care of. We pretty much fell in love with her. Pricing: To be honest, despite prices being so high everywhere, we actually found their prices were reasonable. I recently had breakfast at my local ihop and it was more expensive than Amarith. The quality, however, shines above and beyond at Amarith. It felt good to support a family owned business. There's so many things we want to try there! Until next time!!

Food (3/5): Go Fit Bowl was just okay. The pico de gallo and avocado weren't the freshest but weren't bad. I had higher expectations from other reviews that commented on how the food is fresh and from a farm. Khmer noodle salad was pretty meh too. We wanted to try some non traditional options but maybe should have stuck with standard brunch items.Service (2/5): It was pretty lame to pay + tip up front when you first order at the counter, only to realize the only time you get service afterwards is when they bus the food over. Utensils, water, coffee, condiments is all self-service. Ambiance (4/5): Decor is cute and farmhouse-y but I hate when restaurants pack tables really closely together. Our chairs were back-to-back with the chairs behind us. Between 10:30-11:30 on a Saturday, the restaurant was only half full. Most tables will fit 4-6 people.FYI didn't see any high chairs, saw a booster seat, and no diaper changing table in the private restrooms. Our overall experience was underwhelming, so I'd probably only come back if I was looking for a brunch place without too much wait.

Amarith Farmhouse, located in Fountain Valley, is one of my favorite breakfast spots. I typically like to order their blueberry pancakes and I "make it a plate" by adding eggs and pork sausage. I'd also recommend that you'd add their crispy potatoes, which are very nicely seasoned. The pancakes are what I crave - they're thick and fluffy and the blueberry topping is nice. I like the fresh blueberries, but I wish there was more volume of blueberry syrup/compote.My wife likes their country fried steak. The fried steak has a nicely seasoned crust and it's topped with gravy. My wife loves to eat it with runny eggs and the potatoes. Service is friendly, counter-service. You can self-serve your water and get your own utensils and to-go boxes. I really like it for breakfast. Lunch features burgers, sandwiches, banh mi, and Thai-style noodles. I have tried the Banh Mi and sandwiches and they were okay. I think that I'd like to come back for lunch or dinner for their burger, which features a wagyu blend. I don't typically have room for dessert, but their pies look appetizing. Amarith has another location in Westminster called Amarith Table, which I also like equally; however, my wife does prefer this location here as it's around other vendors that we frequent! Overall, I definitely recommend it for breakfast and brunch and I'm still feeling out what I like here for lunch.

The food here was truly between a 3.5-4 out of 5 stars. It wasn't so amazing that it knocked my socks off but it was good. I was hoping for a different flavor with the chilaquiles but the sauce was a little sweet. The ratio to chicken to chip was good though and the lake was filling. My husband got the Chicken and waffles and enjoyed it. The star of the meal for him was the freshly squeezed OJ. It was straight from the orange! The interior was clean and had limited space to navigate with a walker, but it was nice. We did have to wait awhile for our food and then a portion of our order was forgotten so we had to wait on that. We asked our waitress for the WiFi password and she said it was at the front, paused then went to go see what it was for us. She gave us the name of the WiFi and guessed what the password was and was wrong, so I ended up getting up to see myself and asking someone else for the password. The biggest kicker for me was the price. I realize farm-to-table is going to be a bit more expensive but we paid about $50 for breakfast! To me that's a dinner price, but we really wanted to try it and see what the hype was about. All in all, it was fine but I'd probably go somewhere my dollar could stretch a little further.

Heard good things about the brunch here and it didn't disappoint. Went on a sub about 1:30 so it wasn't that crowded. Tried the Chicken and Waffles plate and it was very tasty and flavorful. The powdered sugar on top made it so good. Very relaxing vibe as you order at the counter then find a seat. Service was fast and we left satisfied. A sure try for anyone in the fountain valley area location.

I am a sucker for a restaurant that makes their own pie! Amarith Farmhouse was just the ticket. We had lunch there on Wednesday. The pies were on full display in the bakery case. They also offered fresh, house-made donuts!!!! It is almost like they planned the food they offer just for me! You can tell already that I really enjoyed my lunch, right? The service included a friendly counter girl, prompt delivery of everything we ordered accurately and quickly. The decor is very homey, and country-casual.My chicken avocado club sandwich was delicious and had plenty of bacon. The onion rings were light, crispy, hot, and perfection. My friend had the Philly cheesesteak. He really knows his cheesesteaks! He said that his was perfect, and he proved it by inhaling the delectable beauty in record time.I can't wait to eat here again! We had a half dozen donut holes as an appetizer while we awaited our order! YUM!!

We were super hungry after a busy night at work, so I left it up to Yelp to give a suggestion for breakfast in and around the area. This was our first time here. This place is located in a plaza with neighboring businesses, so there is ample parking. Welcomed upon entering but was told their coffee grinder wasn't working so there was no coffee at the moment. Bummer, but plus points for honesty...LOL. Looks like you order first and then be seated. We glanced the menu of many delicious-sounding dishes, placed our order at the counter, and sat down (plenty of tables and booths inside). Looks like they had just started putting fresh donuts and pastries in the display case, which all look amazing!Order up:1. The Lumberjack Burrito. I'm a fan of breakfast burritos in general, but theirs was not just any breakfast burrito. The burst of umami in there had to have come from their country potatoes, which to me were seasoned perfectly and had a thin savory (slightly sweet) crunch to them...yum! They certainly did not skimp on the bacon, ham, and sausage! The egg to cheese ratio was on point, and their fresh salsa was the finishing touch! Honestly probably the best breakfast burrito I've had thus far!2. Country Fried Steak. There was a lot of deliciousness happening on one plate! My husband ordered the chicken fried for this dish, which was super tender and moist, savory not overly battered, and perfectly fried (we shared each other's dishes of course, LOL!). He enjoyed their country potatoes just as much and appreciated the burst of freshness with the kale and zucchini. We will definitely come back again to try their lunch/dinner selections. Happy eating till next time!

I visited for the first time on a weekday, and overall, it was decent. The ambiance was nice, with medium noise levels, and it wasn't too busy. The service was okay; you order and pay at the counter, then find a seat. There's a section for water and coffee refills which is nice. My food arrived quickly, and the portion sizes were reasonable for the prices. I had a sandwich and peach iced tea, I enjoyed both. There's also a small selection of carrot cake and other desserts near the counter. The average plate costs about $20. However, I think the service could be better, especially from the cashier, who should be friendlier since they are the face of the restaurant.
