Best bang for your buck by far! The amount or food piled into this white takeout container is endless. Good enough for me and my husband to share or have enough for leftovers! The katsu and barbecue chicken/beef are always consistently delicious! We usually order online and go in to pick up to avoid the busy lineups! There's a few seating options inside, but I wouldn't recommend how much foot traffic is there. Service is prompt and friendly.

I've been dying to try Hawaiian food but I find it hard to find in GA. So I was happy to see this pop up in CA. This is a takeout restaurant with open seating if you choose to dine it. You place your order with the cashier and they call you when your order is ready. I dined in and it was a pleasant experience. They give your order in a Togo container and you find an open spot to eat. I got a mini Katsu chicken that came with 1 scoop of rice, macaroni salad and steamed cabbage. This was a delicious meal. The chicken was fried with a nice coating and when dip in the katsu sauce it was delicious. The macaroni salad is everything I imagined. Noodles made perfect, creamy and flavorful. Cabbage was steamed not much flavor but it balanced the dish. The inside of the restaurant was very clean and they had a tv playing on the wall. It's a cool spot to grab lunch.

Stopped by for a quick pick up and was impressed. I ordered the spam Musubi and it was only 2 for $5. The portion was very generous. Just by looking at the menu the price all seems very reasonable and the portion size looks like it's bang for your buck. Great customer service & a ton of parking! Id totally recommend and would def be coming back!

Although I don't come here often, this was my favorite Hawaiian place around the area. It's been a while since I last got a meal from here so I decided to get lunch to-go on a Tuesday around 11:30a.This is located in The District at Tustin Legacy, right next to Target at the corner of Tustin Ranch Road and Park Avenue. The parking lot on this side is smaller and usually full, but there's also parking on the Target side or across Park Avenue where Alternative Retail and Pet Smart are located.Upon entering, I noticed the big menu screen behind and above the counter has changed. I didn't really pay much attention to it as I already knew what I was going to order -- chicken katsu meal ($15.99) and 2 orders of spam musubi ($4.99 per order, 2 musubi per order). The staff were all unfamiliar to me, but the 2 women working the front were very nice.So the container with the chicken katsu meal was stuffed as usual. They actual put a rubber band around it as the container had torn in several areas, lol. The katsu was crispy and the chicken was tender, but I did notice that the chicken felt thinner (pounded the heck out of it?) and there were more dark meat chicken. The batter was cruuunchy, possibly because of the uneven batter to meat ratio. Okay, not a problem. The macaroni salad had a tad more mayo than I'm used to. Rice was fine, but there was a big cabbage core as well as mostly thick parts of the cabbage leaves. Believe it or not, I do eat and like the cabbage served under the katsu, so I was sad that there were hardly any that I could eat.I did read on one of the reviews that the owners changed? Could explain the unfamiliar faces working and the menu board (and price) change as well as the change in quality of food. Despite of it all, I'd probably still come here as it's hard to find a decent Hawaiian place around this area that also gives you a lot of food. I know this goes waaaaay back, but I do miss those days when the Korean lady and the 2 brothers (twins?) were working.

Really enjoy their combination with Katzu chicken and ribs, white rice, and cabbage.( it also comes with macaroni salad, but I can't eat that.) the one cash register to the far left needs a little more counter space but other than that the food is delicious.

I'm on a Hawaiian BBQ kick and stumbled upon Aloha Hawaiian. I ordered the half Katsu half BBQ chicken. This comes with rice and macaroni salad. The portions here are huge. Light eaters could easily share a plate. The chicken was very favorable. I shared it with a few of my cat friends. They would give five stars, but they're not on Yelp. The rice and macaroni salad was good, but I mainly just eat the meat. This is a place that I'd return to.

I'm really surprised that we haven't left a review for Aloha yet! We've been coming here for over 15 years and honestly, this place doesn't miss! You have to be realistic of the expectations here...This is not the most amazing Hawaiian food in OC but it is always consistent and the portions are large enough to feed a small army...It's a small location, mainly for take out and the service is simple: order your food, pump your teriyaki and katsu sauce then wait for your number to be called. We always get the Chicken Combo which comes with teriyaki chicken & katsu chicken on a bed of cabbage, mac salad and rice. Pro tip, you can request no cabbage and add more mac salad or rice. This single meal is enough food to feed a hungry family of four! Definitely check it out for a quick and easy meal!

Overall, Aloha Hawaiian BBQ is a great value for good quality island inspired food. My favorite dish is the chicken combo. The portions are very generous--even the "mini" meal comes with plenty of protein. I love the BBQ chicken and chicken katsu. Both of these entrees have great flavor. The katsu is crispy and delicious. The entrees state they come with vegetables--but most of it is thick pieces of cabbage, which I'll be honest doesn't look super appetizing compared to the rest of the meal. I love Mac salad--there's might be a little bit too on the mayo side, but that might just be my preference. Every time I go in there the service is friendly and overall quick--the staff are friendly and efficient. I usually take my food to go or order via delivery apps, but the restaurant is always clean and well organized. Overall, will def come back here when I am fixing for a Hawaiian BBQ fix!

This place deserves more love. They PACK the boxes with food (so much so they have to rubber band the containers shut). My go to is a chicken combo ($16) which usually lasts me 3-4 meals. That's insane value compared to other options for a quick weeknight meal. Quality is as good as any other fast casual Hawaiian bbq place in the area. If you catch them at the right time when the Katsu is fresh it's deliciously crispy/juicy. Come here regularly and they're always nice and make your order quickly.

Good sized portions and good tasting food. One of the best Hawaiian bbq places I've tried in Irvine so far. They've also been fairly consistent which is nice.
