Aliso Viejo Certified Farmers Market

The Aliso Viejo Certified Farmers Market has been operating for a few years now. My husband and I have frequented the market in the early days and found it to be lacking. The vendors do change every so often but its not as much produce as I'd like. They don't allow dogs which is weird because I see plenty of people stroll by with their dogs regardless. I know because one of the organizers came up to us and told us that our dog was not welcome in between the stands on the blacktop. While it's a certified farmers' market, they don't offer any organic produce if that's what your after. The two stands I saw with eggs had them at $10/dozen which seemed fairly high considering I could get pasture-raised eggs at Trader Joe's or Sprouts for $5/dozen. One lady sold us gooseberries claiming they were something else. So we hadn't been back in a long while. We stopped by last weekend after I heard via Reddit that Proof Handmade Bagels was having a pop-up. I'm a sucker for an East Coast bagel and this was legit. We also stopped by Hooked on a Fish Co. and saw our neighbor slinging fish. We bought some smoked salmon from him. So we had a nice breakfast for a Saturday morning: handmade bagels with roasted garlic cream cheese and smoked salmon. Sometimes this farmers' market can still surprise me.

Cute farmers market! It's really quick to walk through but they have some quality vendors.

Great little Market! Friendly produce vendors! Happy to support local businesses! I would suggest an area to be able to sit and enjoy food and drinks purchased from the vendors.

A farmers market was such an important addition to Aliso Viejo's shopping and dining culture. I love the availability of fresh produce and unique retail offerings. The fresh cooked foods like breakfast burritos are fantastic and Hooked on Fish Co really makes the experience complete! Everyone is helpful and happy to talk about their products. The ambiance is friendly and fun!

Having this farmers market close to home is such a blessing. There are not that many vendors/farmers who participate in this FM but their produce is really fresh and delicious.When I go to a FM, I only go to buy fruits/vegetables. I don't buy food or anything so can'tcpmment on the food vendors. But asfar as the veggie/fruit stands go, the produce is delicious and the best part is that you cut the middle man, so you would be paying less in some cases. Considering that this is a newly established FM, it is a small one. But I am certain that as time goes by , more vendors will be joining them.The key is to go there right when they open @ 8 so you can get your hands to the best looking produce w/o dealing with too many people!

I love going every Saturday, the stand "brothers " have the best everything middle eastern, even the cheesecake stand delicious, then hooked on fish, amazing fresh seafood and must try poke, the pet food stand very reasonable prices and a lot of variety and treats , produce is always amazing

I love coming here on Saturday morning-ish and getting Mylk which is so delicious!! Body butter babe wasn't here today 4/23/22 She will be at the laguna. Craft fair all day tomorrow!

All the little crafters are cute and the service is good, Nice Saturday hangout place

Service is very good. There are many different small items hard to find elsewhere. Vendors are nice and like to greet the people going by.

Quality, quantity, quality! Lovely people bringing healthy, fresh, food to all of us. The merchants are helpful and pleasant. I shop for fresh, locally grown food. I have never been disappointed. Oh yes, and the families shopping with their adorable children are an extra special treat!
