I've been coming here since the late '90s. That in itself should tell you how I feel about this place. It's my go to place when I'm craving a carne asada burrito. It's my go to place when I get home after traveling. It was my go to place when I was living in Boston and would come home to visit my mom.Now that I'm living in California again I am able to come here at least once a month. Yesterday we came straight here after landing in LAX and had my usual carne asada burrito with the pico de gallo on the side. My mom had the usual 3 rolled tacos.Today I was craving the 3 rolled tacos and my mom the enchiladas so we came here again. Yup. 2 days in a row.Needless to say I LOVE ALBERTACOS!!! I have not had a bad experience and plan on coming here for my carne asada burrito for as long as I am able to.

Back for more, I got my usual chicken enchiladas and tried something new. - Chicken Enchiladas | I've ordered this plenty of times in the past and for good reason; the chicken is always so tender and they never skimp out on the cheese. It's good, guys. Really, really good. - Carne Asada Nachos | Crisp but tender carne asada chunks with refried beans, cheese, guacamole, and sour cream. The tortilla chips didn't hit the mark for me, but it's not a deal breaker.

Albertacos can often be a hit or miss; unfortunately, it was definitely a miss this time. The food I received was uncomfortably cold as if it had been sitting out for far too long. I ordered a shrimp burrito, but it was overwhelmingly coated in sour cream, which completely drowned out any other flavors. The bean and cheese burrito also arrived at an unappetizing temperature, lacking the warmth and comfort one would expect. Even the plain fries topped with cheese were disappointing, tasting oddly stale and as if they had been hastily reheated in a microwave. In contrast to my previous experiences where the food was delightful and fresh, this order fell flat and left me dissatisfied.

We wanted to eat somewhere else in this plaza, but they were closed on Sundays. Instead, we stopped into Albertaco's for food and picked up boba next door. The first thing that hits you is the strong scent of cleaners haha, but if you just do pick-up, you don't have to sit in that smell for long. We thought long and hard on what to get, but we both ended up getting burritos. Fiance had the breakfast burrito while I chose to do the crispy fish. I usually eat my crispy fish in taco form, so this was a new experience.They have hot sauces on the side, your choice of green, red or the mixed salsa one. I personally preferred the salsa variant since it was a medium slow burn that eventually left me feeling a bit numb and with a runny nose, but it was worth every bit. The fish was indeed crispy and would definitely return to get them in taco form next time.

Third times the charm, right? WRONG! Drive 20 minutes to pick up food here and they always get the order wrong. Every. Single. Time. We go in and place our order to go. When we get home, they either forget part of the order, get the order completely wrong, or overcharge you. The last three times we experienced the same occurrence. I will not be coming here for Mexican food again. Highly disappointed.

Been eating here for years, and the food is delicious but their prices have gotten crazy for what it is. Have to say we've been eating here a lot less now because it's almost the same price as a nice sit down spot. Hope they consider the impact their pricing has on customer retention.

Not fancy at all and it is literally fast food ambiance but they make great food for a great price.
