Acai Republic - Costa Mesa

The layers of paradise is really unique. It's layers of açai and passionfruit cream, which is tangy and sweet. For the base, I did the classic most popular and it was good. You can pick three toppings. The cheese bread is good. It's warm. It's super gooey and thick inside. We tried the beef empanada and it was pretty good with hot sauce. It's not a traditional empanada I am used to. It's still good though! The site itself is pretty flavorful. Sevice is really friendly. Location is also good. It's right outside the triangle in costa Mesa.

Quaint little shop with a decent selection of acai bowl & smoothie options! Tried the Real Brazilian smoothie and enjoyed it! Such a yummy combo of fruit~

This place is fantastic. Every time I am craving something fresh, light, and healthy--açaí bowls are my fave and this one is super yummy. This location is a bit smaller and it faces Newport Ave (you will have to park on the side or behind and walk to the front), but inside was very clean and enjoyable to enjoy our food. The service here was vey very good--the workers informed us of the app special--which saved us 50% of our total order--which was super nice of them to let us know before we ordered. The first time I tried some of their pastries. We tried the ham & cheese empanada and the cheese balls. These were both good, but a little stale--I would imagine since it was later in the night, they weren't as fresh, but still pretty good. The bowls were outstanding. The frozen base is so good along with the fresh fruit on top is just great. You can tell their produce is very ripe and fresh! I recommend the medium as it's pretty filling. Overall, the great service and bowls would have me coming back here!

First time here and it was outstanding! Pitaya smoothie was a beautiful, vibrant purple color, delicious. Not too sweet, just refreshing.Also try the chicken potato pastry. That was so good, nice light crunchy outer layer with chicken and soft potato inside.A perfect light combination.

Good location, great service, and delicious açaí bowls! We are very happy to have found this place after getting our facial in the same plaza. The bowls are super refreshing, not too sweet, and very smooth. The shop has seating areas and some Brazilian pastries as well, simply but nicely decorated. We like this spot!

Love this place, staff is friendly and the store is located very close to beach. Always fresh food and best fresh squeezed Orange Juice in the area :)

I got the small Cali bowl which was good but nothing out of this world. The toppings were so packed that they fell out when I was eating it. Good acai but a little pricey for the volume of food. I'll be back if I'm craving one. They have the acai blend already pre made as a sorbet and I was expecting it to be freshly made but that's ok. Place looked clean and I received service right away as it was not busy on a Saturday morning at 11 am.

Store is located on the sidewalk facing the street, you will need to park in the complex and walk over. Ordered the Berry Best smoothie, very natural and not too sweet. Will be returning!

Açaí republic has great açaí and pricing all about having a healthy balance there drinks are Epic

the staff are great and super sweet that's not the issue . ALL THE FOOD IS EXTREMELY STALE AND INEDIBLE FROM MY EXPERIENCE HERE AND THE LAGUNA NIGUEL LOCATION AND THE SAN JUAN LOCATION! the cheese balls are the most dried out stale food Iv ever had, so bad that the cheese had like dried up all together and like evaporated or something idk but it was hollow inside. Also the empanada I had last was tasteless and also stale, wasn't just moisture inside . I'm only writing this review because I find it so odd the food is so bad , like do staff / management / owners not know how long the food items have been out or what is happening? Kinda worry about someone getting sick off these food items . I know this place is mostly a smoothie acia place and maybe it should only be that . It's not worth selling just a couple good items that qre beyond bad .
