The food here is delicious. Very well priced and nice servings. The service is very fast at lunch. Go online after 3:00 to make reservations on weekends since it's packed . The ambiance is family friendly and has karaoke at night and a bar.Family owned and the lady who owns it cooks the food also. The Vietnamese coffee is delicious. The wings are very tasty and crunchy. The crab and pork blood soup is enough for 2 people and definitely delicious. The spicy wontons are perfect. The shaken beef is soooooo tender. We drove from San Juan Capistrano just to try this place after seeing it on Yelp. They truly are #1 better than brodards. It's new so many people have not tried this place yet but they are better than brodards in taste, service , and value

I really wanted to like this place after seeing the good rating, but it unfortunately fell short. We came on a Sunday afternoon around 1 PM, and there was no wait (but you can make reservations through yelp). We ordered their egg roll appetizer and two orders of Pho Tai. The egg rolls came out fairly quickly (10 mins). However, our pho orders did not come out until 45 minutes later, which is way too long to be waiting in my opinion. I think they were severely understaffed that day because there were only two servers, and there were also many tables that were empty and not cleaned yet. It was also so hard to flag someone down whenever we needed to ask for something since they were so short-staffed.Unfortunately, I thought the food was just okay. The egg rolls were fresh and tasty, but the pho was just regular, nothing too special. The meat was way too soft and felt like it was just sitting in the soup for a very long time. The noodles were al dente and needed to be soaked a bit longer. Not sure if it was a bad day for them, but I did not really enjoy it.The place is a pretty large restaurant and has a karaoke station on one of the sides. They do have a large parking lot which is nice. Overall, the food was okay and the service was lacking. Unfortunately, I don't know if I'll be back since there's other good pho spots in the area.

My wife and I were in town to try a head spa within walking distance of the restaurant. It was a Sunday afternoon. The restaurant was nearly empty. We were sat down right away. It was a fairly large restaurant. They put butcher paper on the tables. We were sat down at a table for four and there was trash on one of the chair chairs. I don't think they do a good job cleaning between guests. They have a little utensil station at each table where you can take your own spoons, forks, or chopsticks. I asked the server for recommendations since I don't eat a lot of Vietnamese food. I think the server just picked the two most expensive dishes on the menu. I should have just looked to see what others were eating. Anyhow, we ordered some spring rolls which looked beautiful, and tasted a little bit bland. They served it with a dipping sauce which may have had some peanut flavor and that improved it some, but it was a little sweet for me. My wife ordered the Pho with tofu and veggies. My wife asked if they can make it with a veggie broth and the waiter just looked confused. This is not a place for a vegetarian. Luckily, my wife is a flexitarian. She ordered it with the chicken broth. She said it was delicious. I tried the broth and the chicken broth was unctuous. It was light, chickeny, and had just the right amount of salt. I ordered the grilled beef Laos style. The beef was tender, and it came with a delightfully spicy dipping sauce. Without the sauce, the beef was bland. I ordered a side of rice, and I feel like it been sitting out for a long time and may have just been reheated in a bowl and then inverted on a really tiny plate, making it slightly difficult to eat without making a mess. It would've been better serve in a bowl. I did not give this place five stars and almost gave it 3 for the following reasons; service and cleanliness. Service: My dish came out 20 minutes after my wife's soup. The server never came back to check on us. It wasn't clear that you actually had to get up and pay at the cash register after the meal rather than then bringing the bill. Cleanliness: The table not being cleaned was disgusting. I think self serve utensils is also somewhat disgusting unless they are packaged. I could've easily put my spoon after licking it and putting it back in the utensil holder. Maybe this is a cultural thing. To me, this seemed more like a service related issue. The men's bathroom was disgusting. Everything looked rusted and paint was peeling. They kept their cleaning supplies out in the open. Lastly, they have a patio and it was littered with cigarette butts. Given that the restaurant was pretty empty, I assume it was from the night before. There were hundreds of cigarette butts on the floor. Gross. The chicken broth was THAT good so that's what kept it at 4 stars even with the cleanliness issue. Bottom line, will I go back? I don't think I would drive all the way up to Garden Grove specifically for this restaurant. If I were in the area, maybe.

Great place to satisfy your vietnamese cravings! Menu is diverse & in english; an option for everyone, no matter what you're craving!#49 Bun Rieu: 7/10 - one of my go-to's at any vietnamese restaurant! if you're a fan on tomato & crab, try this dish out! the broth had less crab flavor compared to previous bun rieu I've tried before. there was a piece of pork so I think the broth was a blend of pork & crab. generous amounts of broth, just enough noodles & crab paste for 1 person. #52 Bun Thit Nuong Cha Gio: 8/10 - rice noodle dish topped with grilled pork, egg roll, and pickled vegetables! the grilled pork was soooo smoky & yummy!Parking: easy; parking lot in front of restaurantService: quick & simple, no frills

My family and I came here one night and had a pretty good experience. We were in the area and were deciding on different options for Vietnamese. Everyone wanted something different and thankfully this restaurant had a variety of options. They put together a table for us super quick for 10 of us. Pretty big restaurant and looks like it gets lively at certain times of the night. Couple of guys sat next to us, I think they were the owners but made sure our service/food was good. We all had a variety of Vietnamese dish. I ordered Bun Bo Xao, a vermicelli dish with filet mignon. It was really good! Super fresh and I could tell they really put effort into it. Vegetables were fresh, meat was cooked perfectly. We also had ordered a round of spring rolls for the table. 2-3 orders, it took a little bit but I can see why. Very fresh. They had so many things, my fiancé enjoyed her Bun Bo Hue, aunt ordered Hu Tieu, brother ordered Pho Ga. Haha we all were able to enjoy what we wanted. Vietnamese food hits here!

I was looking for a Pho place that opens late and stumbled upon great reviews of this restaurant. I completely agree with the other Yelpers! Service is excellent. Everyone is friendly and attentive. Food is super yummy. Oxtail Pho is comforting. Meat is tender. The grilled blood clam is fresh and tasty. My boyfriend enjoys his bun with pork. I will definitely return !

Beautiful restaurant and very warm service! :)My siblings and I came to dine here tonight and we ordered the egg rolls, spring rolls, fried tofu and garlic fries for appetizers. Everything was delicious and had different flavors. Each dish had its own sauces which they served to our tables and explained which goes with which :)Next, we ordered five phos, two of the phos with filet mignon and brisket. The meat was soooo tender and delicious! We all loved the broth! It's always nice to find a pho place whose broth is fresh and not oily. We also ordered a fried rice. It tasted really nice, but it was dry :') We ended up putting our pho broth on it, but it was still good. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone who lives in the area. We all live in different cities, but if we come back to Garden Grove for pho, it would definitely be here at 99999.Again, stellar service from everyone here at the restaurant! Thank you :D
