85°C Bakery Cafe-Irvine

Lots of people have probably already talked about this spot, so I'll just list out the favorite items: I'm in love with the taro/Ube, also the mango bun. The sausage one was just okay but my spouse who has more of an American pallet would like this one for bf for sure.

My Friday morning treat at 85 Bakery! The Irvine location is normally having good foot traffic EXCEPT if you get here before 7:30AM . On Fridays, once it hits 8 AM rolls around, crowds begin to form, purchasing larger orders, often as a treat for their officemates before the weekend. There were several times I got caught behind these generous patrons and wished I was part of their team. For the early morning, hours the bread are fully stocked. I see Chinese New Year décor are added to the outdoor share common area. The cashier is always friendly and quick to move the folks along. During weekdays, I tend to get sweet teas more than coffees. I skipped the bakeries today and placed my order. For those customers, in like me, buying on drinks. I would beeline straight to one of the two kiosks. Unless you're like me and enjoy interactions with people. My only compliant ...as I'm trying to manage my sugar. I've asked for ¼ sweet but 3 hours later cannot finish the drink because the drink was too, too sweet! I'm so disappointed.

I hate leaving a bad review on Christmas but this is just not right. I was looking to get a cake for the family and was going through the 85 app. Found this location still had cake and their hours were opening 7:30AM on the app. I put in an order through the app for a cake pickup at 8:00AM. Paid and even received confirmation. When I got to the location at 8:23AM, there is a paper sign that says they are closed and will be open at 9am. Like..wtf. Fix your app and update your hours earlier please or open on time according to the app.

85°C Bakery Cafe is a Taiwanese bakery and cafe company that launched their first U.S. flagship store in November 2008 in Irvine . I have been coming to this store since it's opening . Now they're opening so many locations in California. Everything from I bought tastes superb. And it was hard to decide so I always bought a few things every time I stop by. The cheese dog and the marble Taro bun are delicious. The mini cheesecakes and a traditional Taiwanese style Pork Sung bun is made with soft bread, mayonnaise spread, then topped with dried pulled pork. are worth a try. Due to inflation, they had to cut down on food rations and the prices of everything went up a little bit, making the cake poorer quality and more expensive than before. But still good to compare with other bakery! .

Good ol' 85°C! It's the Taiwanese bakery of my dreams, and I've been dreaming about it since I moved away from Irvine. I used to visit 85°C frequently for cinnamon milk toast, and I just can't find anything comparable at other places. The milk toast here is the best.They didn't have milk toast when I visited, though! I'm only in Irvine once in a blue moon, so I was thoroughly disappointed, but only for a minute. This bakery has so many other goodies, including slices of cake and pudding cups, both of which my sweets-loving son and I ordered. This place is very popular, which you can tell by the long queue that wraps around the inside of the store. Fortunately, we visited at the end of the day and there weren't that many people, so we were able to get our desserts quickly.

Love going to this bakery place, love the pastries especially the sea salt coffee with boba and coffee jelly!

I also don't like how you cannot buy egg tarts individually anymore and they have packaged it as a 6 pack. I come here for that and meh on the 6 pack

85oC Bakery has very large selection of baked goods. Everything is good here. Always have to control myself so I don't buy too much at each visit.We recently picked up a few cakes for our office event. We got the lemon cake, chocolate cake, and strawberry cake.My favorite is the lemon cake.

This bakery is always busy so the items are nice and fresh. Service is good. Should definitely order your drink online to save time.

Always a great way to get a sweet treat when walking around shopping. I got the Oolong Milk Tea (?) with Boba and one of the bread pastries. Both were a delicious combo to have for a meal! 85 always gets my drinks right so I wasn't worried about the taste. Huge selection of pastries as always so you'll always find something you want from savory to sweet!
