3:16 Bakery Shop

Stopped in on a Monday morning while taking a break on a road trip. I wouldn't necessarily think to write a review when I only grabbed a few pastries to go, but I just had to share- I got the best cheese danish I've ever tasted!! Beyond that, the space is clean and inviting. Half the shop is frozen yogurt and toppings, and the other half is loads of baked goods. The next time I'm in SJC, I will definitely come back.

Cool little spot! Get your gelato or your coffee or any baked goodies! We had two coffees, we just wanted to enjoy the walk through all the shops around the area.Staff was very kind and welcoming. There is inside seating available. When it comes to parking, because it is kind of a down town area, the only parking available is the public paid parking, plenty of those in this area. Usually around $4 for 2 hours. I did see one for $10 lol.

3:16 Bakery is a Nice little place in the oldest town with pastry, cakes, coffee, frozen yogurt, and gelato. I ordered coconut ice cream, it's was delicious, the ice cream make with real coconut, I can chewy the coconut meat . Yogurt was just ok nothing special. High quality products and excellent service. The staff is polite and attentive. Do enjoy the ice cream goods when you are in town.

Really cute cafe with everything you could ever want, ice cream, gelato, frozen yogurt, full lavazza coffee bar and baked goods galore. The staff is super sweet and accommodating. The coffee, even though simple, was great and shockingly low priced

Great bakery with all kinds of amazing things that I would love to eat. I stick more on the side of buns and breads that do not have sweet added but they all look amazing.

On a slow Sunday evening, I decided to take a stroll at this cute town, where they have all the teahouse, gift, shops, nice, coffee, shops, and sports bars while crosses right through the middle of the town. It's such a cute place to take a walk and enjoy people seeing! Believe it, if you love the authentic sorbet that you tastes at Italy and can't seem to find it where else, give this cute bakery a try. My first spoon of it told me that I must come back! and they also have strawberry sorbet, raspberry sorbet, and lemon, sorbet, along with other flavors of ice cream. So give this bakery a try! heck, give this town a shot! It's barely 15-20mn from Irvine but the vibe is like a touristy town. Don't need to drive to Big bear or up yo any mountains to find this simple life kind of vibe! You're welcome :)

3:16 is a cozy place to rest my legs and get a treat at San Juan Capistrano, right on the Verdugo Street. 3:16 refers to John 3:16 that is on the wall. You can get gelato, frozen yogurt, and pastries, with coffee or tea.I decided on 2 scoops of gelato, strawberry and burgundy cherry. Only later I thought I should have tried lemon, the traditional flavor for Italian ice.There was only one guy helping customers today. While he was working on the bakery side, gelato customers had to wait, and vice versa.It is not a big shop but has good vibes.I would definitely come back to try other items.

Get the chocolate chip cookie with M&Ms that's by far my favourite cookie from here.I also like the ones that have the raspberry... sauce? Filling? I'm not sure what to call it (I believe they also come in the apricot flavour). They have a good selection of cookies that you can select from -- you can simply get one or multiple. They also have a selection of cakes, sandwiches, beverages like tea and coffee, as well as an ample gelato selection.This is a great little stop in San Juan Capistrano. A little pricey (I think my seven cookies were almost $9) so not an every day visit, but nice for occasions. 2024: 20/100

Cute spot! Capistrano has blown up over the years. No longer a sleepy town! We had a pastry....which was very tasty (although we don't think the apple filling was home-made)We then moved on to gelato....which was flavorless and lacking the right texture. They either need a new purveyor or they need to make their own. Gelato was a fail. Unfortunately we are gelato officianados. I wish them the very best as I love to support a Faith based operation!

Why is there not a decent bakery in San Juan Capistrano that has good cookies and affordable pastries!it also takes forever to get a coffee.
