Ironwood American Kitchen

They did a lot of things reasonably well. The food was always prepared well with a decent number of choices. I didn't feel it was out of this world, but pretty good. Their menu is also what you get when you order in room dining. I liked the grilled cheese, but thought the pasta dish was rather bland. The cheeseburger wasn't bad. The restaurant was clean and bright inside. I never ate outside so I can't comment how that was. The service was ok. One day, the waitress forgot about my drink for 20 minutes. Not terrible, but not attentive. The waiter I got the following day was very friendly, but came off a little green as far as knowing the menu, etc, but very friendly and wanted to make sure I had an enjoyable lunch. It's a great place to grab a meal if you don't want to leave the property.

We came here for breakfast while we waited for our room to be ready. We were sat quickly and had Austin as our server. I had the farm breakfast with scrambled eggs, bacon and potatoes. It was very filling and delicious. My girlfriend had the ironwood Sammy and it looked great. She had coffee and they brought us a bunch of water. It was a great way to start our enjoyment of the Fairmont Princess

Ironwood was a good little lunch spot on the Princess Property. I believe they also cater to most of the in-room dining as well. It was clean and staff were attentive. Out of all of the restaurants this was the easiest to haul my 4 children too and the food was good. All American and good quality. We ate here three times on our stay. We had a great lunch with a blt, chicken sandwich, side Caesar salad, chicken fingers and all the fries. Brunch was great! It was actually less expensive for our family of 6 to eat brunch then it was for our 5 person lunch and 3 out of the 5 meals were off the kids menu! Our two boys ate for free because they were 5 and under. Made a huge difference. And then we ordered a big to go order one night for our kiddos when we went to another restaurant.

We had breakfast here after getting massages at the spa. Pricey for what you get, but the food was still decent. My omelet had one little hair on top of it when it came out, but I removed it and didn't say anything to the server because it wasn't a huge deal. My Mom had the breakfast buffet, which she liked....but again it was quite expensive. The service was okay. If someone asked me for breakfast recommendations in the area, this place wouldn't top the list, but if I was staying at the hotel then it would do.

Billy was a fine server that brought us crisp water in a clean bottle. The personal bottle of carrot habanero sauce made a unique experience. I forget what it came with because well who remembers the opening act actually I do remember when Nick Cannon got booed off the stage before Dave Chapelle at a campus show but that's it. The prosciutto grill cheese was such a fine palette pleaser that my son said it was better than the one at our family's restaurant.....it's named after him because he made the recipe. I teach vulnerability so this was a big DAD moment. Thank you for that Fairmont Princess! We will be back soon for the brunch that we missed! I don't put much into that early bird gets the worm stuff but the early bird does get brunch! Awesome atmosphere sitting out on the patio. I love Mission Ranch in Carmel,CA and it felt a little like that.

Really bad service I ordered a simple hamburger and on the menu it said a simple double hamburger so I decided to order but when it got out guess what I came as a cheese burger & I ordered it plain. So they took it back & remade it but it took so lone & once again it was wrong again. So you probably don't want to really eat here it for is is really the only thing good on the menu. It is also really really expensive if i would if know that I would of went to Burger King & get a burger for 15 dollars less. But the most 5 things I hate are listed here ...1 : Really bad service 2 : Really expensive 3 : Not that many food selections the hamburgers are the best item 4 : lone wait in line

We had the open buffet brunch and a mimosa flight. Food was really delicious and if you go hungry you will definitely get your money's worth. I am usually not a cinnamon roll gal but it was so amazing that I had two of them. Servers were also really polite and attentive. Although the restaurant did not have a view overlooking the pool from above as I had seen in some insta posts overall we had a very positive experience.

Came here for lunch as my hotel room comes with $32 breakfast voucher. Brunch is $26 per person, which is good enough to cover fo my breakfast. There are a lot of selections. My favorite were smoke salmon sandwich, chia seed pudding, and fruit yogurt. Food was tasty, and coffee was amazing (not sour). Will come back for breakfast again before I check-out.Service was fast, and my server was very friendly and attentive.

This is a wonderful place to dine. We went on Christmas Eve and I had the braised short rib dinner and my partner had the ribeye. I'm telling you the meat absolutely melted in mouth. People say that all the time but it's true! Amazing! The entire dinner was 5 stars. We come to this place every year and it's always great but this time it was over the top! My compliments to the chef!

Back at the Fairmont once againBreakfast was great today. The local omelette is filled with Chorizo cheese onions and chilies. Food came out quick and service on point
