Irby's Tavern

Parking here is horrible. They have a small lot that can fit maybe a dozen cars. The lots beside them are private parking or pay for parking. I found street parking a small distance away.Bar is in the middle of the establishment with plenty of seating. The staff are really nice but extremely busy. They probably need more staff but the ones here are trying their best.Trivia night was pretty fun. They gave gift cards to everyone that participated. Questions were a mix of easy and challenging. DJ/host was pretty fun.Burger was delicious. I got the Bo Sharkley. It is a burger seasoned with cajun seasoning and topped with blue cheese crumbles. Fries were good. I tried the queso fries and regular fries. Neither are worth writing home about. The queso fries were more flavorful and filling.Drinks were interesting. The bar specials are blah. The bartender made me a specialty drink which was strong and tasty. Crown royal, peach schnapps, cranberry, and sprite.

For the most part this spot is your standard neighborood bar/sports bar. Parking can be a bit challenging as they have a very small lot out front but there are paid street parking spots and paid public parking decks in the surrounding area. Sat at the bar and ordered the Big Mark. It's essentially their version of a Big Mac and it had American cheese, lettuce, diced onion, and Irby's special sauce on a sesame bun (with the additional piece of bread in between). I added tomatoes to mine and got it with a side of Tater Tots and everything was delicious! It was fairly empty inside when I went, but the bartender was friendly and patient which was good. I would definitely go back just for that burger!

Divey, sports bar in the Buckhead part of Atlanta. LOUD! We came here for a quick bite and drink (beer) after a long day. I was impressed to see they had a burger with a fried egg on it. The yolk would have made a great sauce if it had been runny. It wasn't. That egg is solid through and through. Even the server, who was great and honest about the menu, was disappointed.Not worth the experience.

Decided to try this spot last night. It was really empty but great for us due to we just got off of work and wanted a beer and a quick bite. The Buffalo blue cheese dip was really good and the chips were the best. This place doesn't have great parking but we ended up getting a parking spot in the little parking lot but there's literally 8 parking spots available. Although the food was good, I wish they had more beer options. The service was good as well.

This is a great sports bar! Friendly service, tons of TV, cool memorabilia covering the walls, and decent food. The wings were flavorful and extra saucy - if only some of that sauce was on the buffalo chicken wrap which was majorly lacking!

For a sports bar, this place deserves 5 stars. It is exactly what it claims to be. AMPLE TV's and the friendliest staff who will quickly and efficiently put on your game of choice. They have indoor and outdoor seating as well. We've been here a few times and they have a good selection of beers as well as specials on buckets. The food, I must say is good. Don't come here if you're looking for fine dining or a plethora of healthy options, but for watching the game and leaving feeling full it's perfect. The French dip is delicious and we've also had the pretzels with beer cheese which were yummy. The wings are very good. They have always been cooked well and the Kathy Ireland circa 1991 hot sauce is delicious if you like spicy! We will keep coming here to watch games and if you're in the area, definitely give it a try!

I am so thoroughly impressed with my lunch here and the place overall. First of all, the burger was incredible. I did the double with two smash patties which also came with bacon and jalapenos. I have to say whatever bacon they use is top notch. It was thick. Sliced center cut. Perfect smoke on it and flavor. I also can't say enough about the produce that was on the burger because it was so fresh and crisp that I would think they had a garden out back if I didn't know better. Fries are also excellent. It was a nice fry that was crispy that had some skin on and perfect amount of salt on there too. All the staff are super friendly and nice and the place is gorgeous on the inside without being pretentious which is a bit unusual and buckhead but I love it. Absolutely an incredible lunch and I can't wait to return here again

I wish i could give this a 3.5, but definitely not 4. Hubby and I went here on a Sunday when they first opened. It was our anniversary weekend and had done a staycation at the Sylvan (read my review of that 5.0). Needless to say a burger was much needed after the night we had. There was already a soccer crowd there. Not a lot. We sat at the bar. Nice bartender. I asked if I just got a single burger would that be enough. She said yes. Do not believe this. The burger is smaller than McDonald's. But more than that was the wait. It took about 45 minutes before we started asking about our food. And we asked several times. Finally burger and fries. Nope. Fries were cold and guess what the jalapeño burger hubby ordered had no jalapeños. Finally a manger walks over to apologize stating they would adjust the bill and get us new fries. So Finally we're finished with the non exciting food and the bill comes. Our sodas were free and 20% off the bill. Whatever. The bar atmosphere is good. If we weren't far away we'd come back for soccer and beer. Nothing else.

A classic spot for some great bar food and great people. This is my friend's favorite place in Atlanta due to it being where most of her crew usually posts up and it's an overall blast! We got drinks (great prices), tots, moz sticks and onion rings to start. All super standard but they really hit the spot that day. I'd love to go back to watch a game in the space and maybe even have a Sunday funday. I have a feeling this isn't the last time I'll be experiencing Irby's!

My order of the Veggie Bowl was flavorful, healthy, and filling; I had leftovers! The kids had a cheeseburger with fries and onion rings. Nice lunch environment, the server was hospitable, and they were clean. Didn't get a pic but the mango margarita didn't look typical I was nervous to drink but it was good. I would visit again just for my veggie bowl!
