Ipp's Pastaria & Bar

I went to Canton Street for lunch today craving a BLT. Ipps does not have a BLT on their menu but my server, Miranda, told me not to worry, she'd fix me up!! HERE'S TO THE BEST BLT that I've ever eaten in my life!!! It was served on the most crunchy sourdough bread with sweet tomatoes, lettuce and awesome bacon. I had a cup of tomato basil as well. It was the perfect sandwich. This should be a staple for their lunch menu! The service was awesome!!! Miranda is a great addition to the staff. Visit Ipps on Canton. You can't go wrong!

**Ipps Italian Restaurant - Downtown Roswell**My mother and I recently visited Ipps Italian Restaurant for a late weekday lunch, hoping for a nice pasta indulgence. Unfortunately, our experience fell short of expectations.The restaurant was quiet with a few tables occupied, but our service was anything but satisfactory. Our server dropped water in my mom's lap and never apologized. After hastily cleaning up the mess, she went off to get water for another table, leaving us feeling neglected. We had to rely on the gentleman at the door for basic needs since our server was inattentive.When it was time to leave and we requested the bill, I had to approach the server myself to speed up the process. While we didn't expect a discount for the mishap, a simple acknowledgment of the mistake would have been appreciated. It's a shame because the lunch specials were very affordable, offering a large selection of Italian favorites in perfect lunch portions. However, given the poor service, we won't be returning to Ipps.

After trying Ipp's a couple months ago I have been back multiple times and it has become my favorite place to eat.I love the service and the interior here. The seating is always quick, the decor is great and has a homey feel, and the food comes out fast and hot.The food here is amazing and that's an understatement. The free garlic rolls are the best rolls I've ever had and I ALWAYS order another serving. I love the Cellentani Cream Pesto so much that I haven't wanted to try anything else because it's so good but I'm sure the other menu items are just as great. The portion sizes are large and I always have some left over for the next day.Overall, Ipp's has become my go-to #1 restaurant. The food and service here are amazing and I hope that they keep doing what they're doing for a long time. I hope it doesn't get too popular to where I can't get a table, but if you have the chance to go you should absolutely make a trip to Ipp's!

From my girlfriend's dietary restrictions, to thoughtful drink and food recommendations, to the time spent at each table, Sam is one of those people that makes a restaurant more than just a building.The food was great, but service like that is what keeps me coming back. My only critique is to have more cider options.

During Roswell Alive after 5, we got a table outside. Service was fast. The food is delicious. Will be back for lunch.

Hostess staff refused to give my family a booth unless we had 5 people. We had my family and 4 month old daughter but apparently she doesn't count as a person. The only seating they offered us would have required us to put the baby on her own in a corner. Very disappointed because we were supposed to be eating here for my birthday dinner. Luckily, Zest across the street was a lot friendlier and a LOT more accommodating. Go across the street and skip Ipp's.

A very solid lunch. It was a very good experience. Met a friend for lunch and ordered a bar b que chicken pizza which was incredible. My friend had the chicken parm and said it was also very very good. They also offer four of their rolls for the table which are amazing. The service by Logan was exceptional. She took great care of us and would ask for her again. The room had some great music playing as well. The room filled up very quickly. Parking is the only issue.

An extension of the Ippolito's family brand, Ipp's keeps the best part of it -- the garlic rolls. :-) Honestly, because it's part of Ippolito's, I couldn't see myself going there.However, outside of the garlic rolls and black and white checker motif (lightly used, mind) I didn't notice much similarity. The restaurant space is airy and light, incorporating a sense of motion that flows between indoor and outdoor space. Seating is pretty comfortable and feels very spacious.As far as food goes, I tried the rigatoni cardinale. It was exactly what I wanted. Marinara was right, pasta al dente, and good flavor. The serving size, which was noted as a lunch serving, was enough for two meals.The crew at Ipps seems to know what they're doing, including craft cocktails incorporating elderflower. Try asking for that at Ippolito's. The only downside? No parking and no reservations. You can ask for a call-ahead for parties of 8 or more (inside only.)
